i learned something new in math: inverse functions! basically, as the time that i play this game goes up, my productivity goes down! math is fun

If you wanted to expand it, release a sequel later with the added features. You could add missions (i.e. destroy the cars with ramps, destroy the cars with obstacles, let the cars destroy themselves, etc.), allow players to adjust car speed, make some AIs better at driving, some better at controlling their motion in the air (AKA they can avoid "ramp death") some more aggressive, some more passive, all without breaking the spirit of the event.

And for my comment about the multiplayer stuff, have a certain distance the road is allowed to go, say, 20 km or something, and if there is at least 1 racer remaining, the cars when, if all the cars explode, the road wins :)

I congratulate the dev for bashing this out in such a short amount of time... it started out as a boring idle game, and it quickly turned into.. how fast can i kill drivers... how high can i make them jump... how bendy and hilly i can make it and still make it past 100
this is definately a contender for game of the week and month on this site

if you make a sequel, you should add different hazards we can use like an explosive mine or a swinging thing that'll just ram the cars

since you arent going to expand on this because it was a competiton, you should make a "you are the road 2" with all the great ideas that people have commented.

obstacle selection(enter for regular obstacle alt:magnetic cube) up:water(causes cars to not be able to get up on side) alt:steam(lifts cars up) right:oil(causes skids catches fire) alt:fire down:lava(you don't need to even think of what will happen) alt:stone(blocks paths immovable) left:car(WASD to change type does stuff dangerous to others)alt:nuke(KABOOM!) mixed:(note uses regular)greek fire, ferrofluid(magnetic),****(any type) nuke.an that's all I can think of for mixed.

OMG this game gets a 5 for sure, nothing made me laugh harder then making a steep hill with a sudden drop and seeing my little cars go flying thru the air doing somersaults. Poor little cars, why is destroying you so fun?

i used the badge master to choose a random "unity" game, i still don't know why i didn't acquire the badge, all i have to do is kill them.. right?

The red's car last emotion before it died was confused. "Hey. Guys. What's going on. Why am I running over a poor green box? Why am I flipping in the air? Why am I-"
Boom

The last two cars were way out of sight a long ways off. They were right next to each other, but they still felt "ashamed" and "alone".

I understand you created the game for a time-limited competition, but you could always add a second updated version of this game that has improvements and leave this one as it is.

If there will be a sequel, that multiplayer idea @judstar has should be introduced... as well as some adjustable things like speed increase rate and mouse sensitivity... some faster accelrating and some sharp corners would be hard for online eh? ( I feel I have commented something like this about a year ago)

A very interesting game that is a bit short on what you can overall do but I read why that was. I would defiantly enjoy seeing what would come from a sequel. Keep up the good work.
