This is awesome. I've asked myself the same question but never thought it in this aspect. Also, I feel it would be amazing to have a multiplayer and one person is chosen to be the 'road', and the others 'drivers'.

since the game has good suggestions but you dont want to change it because it was made in a molyjam thing, could you make a reproduction of this but so that you could edit the game?

How about this if you dont want to modify this one make a copy and modify that one but keep the original so that way you would have 2 different games the original and the modified :) + if you agree

You should be able to chuck down more hazards, and the cars should have "peresonalities", i.e. the red car is more aggressive, the blue one will actively move to get out of the way, the yellow one will "draft" (stay close behind) another one, as well as the ability to (cosmetically) change what kind of road they're on (like, say, have them go from being on a paved racecourse to a dirt road to a street with sidewalks), and various other tidbits.
But as it is at present, it's a fun game.

OMG car AI is BRUTAL I watched as purple slowly pushed orange off the edge of the track, pause to watch him explode, then continue on with the race. What a bunch of psychopaths XD

ahaha I love there Emotions :D and they drive like a Drunk!! This game is lovely and Addictive and Please can you add more obstacles and the control doesn't fit if you only use mouse I can't add blocks in the middle While the road is going to the left side :C but great job!! Duckets, i must say i am fairly displeased with your choice to disconinue all updates. However, i do agree with every single person out there who says that this is and could be one of the best games ever to set foot on kongregate. Best wishes to you sir.

The lack of a proper skybox, emotions of the cars and overall minimalistic setting makes this game philosophic in a way.

since you say you don't want to add-on to the game since it was for a 48 hour event, maybe make another one cause i loved this and would love to see more things to do in it.

Could you please change the road creation controls to the arrow keys or something else? Because when I try to place a road hazard at the front and I want it to be on a hill, it makes me lower the hill to place the road hazard

this game has a ton of option on where to improve! just some ideas (for hopefully somebody who can/would/will make this into a game)
1. well obviously more traps then just a green box :D
2. driver IQ or give the players a chance of somekind of control ?
3. I believe this was suggested but multi player
4. money! what kind of games doesnt have money ? :D
there are a lot of games that could be made with this kind of set up i hope to see a few of them soon
btw 5/5 is the worst rating i could give :D

would really like to see a "You are the road 2" the play-ability of this is great, the idea is original! For number 2 I would love the option to use awsd for turn and mouse for drops. I really really hope you run with this and make a part 2! :-D

Awesome game but I think it would be super funny if those cars can be Kongregate users and then there is 1 doing that road when real pupils are driving it same time

Such a gorgeous game. A few ideas, if you ever make a sequel(please do)!
1. various game modes:
A. race, you set a time limit, and a finish line "terrain piece" is placed when you reach the time limit. Any cars that get onto the terrain piece "win"
B. Last man standing, last car to be alive wins
C. Sandbox
2. campaign/tourney mode.
You would pick the game mode, A or B
Then the amount of games the cars will play.
After each match the winner gets a point, whoever has the most point at the end wins!

Well, if your not going to add stuff to this game because of game-Jam, Then why don't you just make a exact copy of this game, call it a different name, and add to that?

I blew up all but one car so I could experiment. He seemed happy when he was close to me, but he felt alone and depressed when he slipped further away. What does that mean? Who am I, and why do the cars take notice of me?
