2462 clicks are required to unlock all 41 items in this game. Wait, only 41? They came that close to having 42 and they didn't do it? For shame. After your 2462nd time flipping the switch, objects in the scene start coloring in, until eventually you have a more colorful image. Also the computer item seems to... look up stick figure porn for some reason. I gave up after the 5000th click for fear of losing my sanity. I hope this was educational to anyone on the ropes about whether to play this or not.

Saw the ending and lemme tell you guys now: Abusive Video Game Manipulation
You guys have just clicked pointlessly out of the creator's amusement. What he did was manipulate you into clicking until your hands hurt and then the ending was actually a 'Oh, we were kidding, goodbye.'
...However, I still find the art sort of nice.

My condolences to anyone who's epileptic who tries to play this. I sincerely hope that any seizures that you get from this game aren't severe.

After getting to 1,000 clicks, I decided to just look up the game's name (which honestly was the only reason I was still clicking). Turns out I had the middle words right, and the other two weren't very far from the expected. BTW, I read the post at your blog, very interesting (and kinda sad, too).

The point of the game is to show how modern social games and MMOs make you take hours to get to something, or just bypass it by paying real money. In this case you can't bypass it.

Great 'idle game' for playing while chatting here on Kong -- the clicking is much less tedious if it's broken up by conversation in the chat tab. Also nice to finally see a game where having a laptop touchpad is a benefit instead of a liability! I wouldn't be surprised if more than one person has broken an actual mouse trying to beat this game. I enjoy being made to go o.0, so this was good on that level, as well as qualifying as a meta-game. Not for the faint of heart, but I had fun. 7.75/10

Look, since you all clearly don't get it: Abusive Video Game Manipulation. It's a commentary on online games like FarmVille and the likes that reward you for "clicks." Play Edmund's game The Basement Collection on Steam, unlock AVGM, and watch his deleted scene from Indie Game: The Movie. But really, I hope someone other than me figured this out. (Seriously though this guy makes good games.)

I have the average about 300 c/m (clicks per minute) and ouch that sucked hard! My finger is bumming from that pressing. Dammit...

Edmund McMillen was one of my influences as an young artist (I would try to copy his style from a spreadsheet of Badlands characters over and over again), and I've just recently re-discovered his work. It still amazes me and grosses me out.

*randomly clicks around the game* Boring...
*Flicks lights on and off and naked woman appears* Yeah I think i'm gonna stay.

you have to click 10,000 times to unlock everything full colored. For those whom are wondering *****SPOILER ALERT****** the title goes something like "aimless video game manipulation"
