Very solid execution; however, in the later levels survival tends more towards luck than skill. Item drops are the only way to survive, and adding a "luck" upgrade would greatly serve the survival strategy. A few minor tweaks could make the 'good' replay value really 'great'!

The amount and strength of enemies is completely based on your level... That means upgrading pixel drop and magnetism is actually harmful, because they help increase your level but don't increase your fighting ability. In other words, if you spend points on them, you have to fight harder enemies earlier without the benefit of stronger weapons. I think at least partially linking enemy strength to level is good, keeping it a manageable challenge at any strength, but the enemy level should also increase over time. Otherwise, turreting and never picking up any pixels is the smartest way to go. It also makes it impossible to play forever at the maximum level, so that it always gets more challenging- i.e., fun for better players too. Just my thoughts. Still rated it 5 stars, but I was disappointed to see what would normally be my favorite skills hurt me. Thanks for listening!

Tip for high scores: shoot for big killstreaks. Tip for big killstreaks: upgrade your offense (multishot, rapid fire, crit, pierce) and try not to move around. You actually don't want to be picking up pixels!

You know, a really good suggestion would be a confirming window in case you're really leaving, because it's annoying to see how your "hard" work goes to the trash

"Platinum Trophy Collector" is so paradoxical. It requires all platinum trophies, but is also made of platinum. You won't get all pl trophies until you get this one. But you won't get this one until you get all pl trophies :)

I don't know why people are complaining about the game being Flash player based. Even if Adobe isn't giving updates for their Flash player anymore other people have created their version of Flash player. Here's one that was recommended to me probably 6 months ago: https://www.getsupernova.com/extension/. If you want to use a site that double-checks software for viruses, here's a link to Softpedia: https://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Internet-Applications-Addons/Chrome-Extensions/SuperNova-SWF-Enabler.shtml. I know there are several other groups as well working on keeping Flash player working even when Adobe drops support which can be found by doing an internet search.

Ummm, just one tiny tidbit: in the Trophy section, I think the bronze and gold trophy colors need to be switched. Seriously, doesn't the gold trophy color look orange or a lot more bronze than the bronze trophies, and vice versa?

A very good version of the genre; good interface, nice setup, excellent graphics, music and SFX, intuitive and overall fun with trophies that are not too difficult but hard enough to make you think and work for them (though maybe the 1000 kill-streak is a little tough), about the only thing I could fault it for is the similarity in colour between the peons and the speed fire power-up... got me a couple of times! :) Good game, keep up the good work :)

I love this game. The only thing I see is it may need some tweaking on the upgrade system like lugui said. But also an occasional checkpoint building up to some sort of boss battles? I dunno, maybe I just didn't get far enough. Are there boss battles?

Definitely my favourite game on Kongregate. It's like Geometry Wars with RPG elements and persistent rewards for trophies! :D

WOW.... just noticed the first 15 people on the 'All Time' Total Trophies collected... are cheating losers. There's only 50 Trophies in game... and some people have almost double that *smh*

To all the new players of the game here is a word of advice. Go for all silver trophies as soon possible, because it gives bonus upgrade points then focus on the specific trophies that are left. Dont forget to level up (its easy to get caught up in the fun). Dont sprint around the map like crazy unless you need to, its a waste of pixels and is a great way to die an early death. Be careful of enemies that self destruct like fumes and vessels. If an enemy self destructs it will not count as a kill so make sure you keep your distance. If you arent sure if the enemy self destructed watch for pixel drop. When you need to upgrade the regen and fire spread because they will keep you alive. If you are going for quick leveling or just want more upgrade points fast upgrade pixel drop and magnet. If this helped +

To those looking for Auto Fire, you can glitch the game to auto fire. While holding down the left mouse button, click the right mouse button, then hit escape. You should now autofire.
