This is a great game, really love it, 5/5 hands down mate! It's well designed and i like how the difficulty goes up at the end.. reducing the fork of prices and making you accept low profit deals too. As i said, very fun game, you really made a great art piece bro! 5/5

would be nice if you could cancel opium sales. I keep clicking on the the risky ones accidentally and can't take it back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
do not keep huge amount of money turn them all into opium so when you take risky deal you only need to pay small amount of fee if you get caught.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
score is base on how much opium you sell so for the last level do not ever buy any tea but buy all the opium and sell it all if you aiming for the hard badges.

interesting game. i was expecting something more than just a two-item trade game, but actually, it seems to work just fine. fun game: mind you, i purposefully messed up so i'd have enough crates for an end game and the first badge and would come back later but... pity, the badges don't seem to work, or at least the game doesn't track for me anyway.

Hm, yes. I too should plagiarize (with 6 words slapped in front) a comment about how to win and reach the "Best" section because it's 2019 and the original comment merely appeared in 2014. Ah, the rating system. I do love you so.

The GUI was confusing there is a bar for Opium and Tea, I was always looking at those 2 bars to make sure I had enough of each. The tea bar I got to 105 and it stayed there, How ever sense the opium bar was going up and down I thought the Tea bar would do the same, I guess not! so I lost, then the game showed me a dial saying low and high on it ?

One of the best strategy games i played in a long time.
Sadly no replay value... Would love to see a full game out of this with more levels, items, ships and more

finally got the hard badges keep buying opium when the prices is 30 -47 sell above that don't be afraid at losing ship keep 3 the maximum take risky deal when the number of crates is really high.
stockpile tea and opium from the beginning of the game. pay the money if get caught don't be afraid.buying opium and tea at the same time all the time when the prices is right.

It would be nice to see the progress towards each badge within the game to see when to stop playing in case someone just wants to get the easy badge or the medium badge instead of playing until it's game over.

is there a way to manually sell a ship--seems like if you answer wrong on the dialogue not realizing how screwed you are, then you have nothing to do while you wait for failure

Great concept, but the balance is off. Buying only 30 crates of anything at once is far too limiting. I'm often sitting on huge piles of money and can't spend it fast enough.

I am a chinese and I want to say something about it ,
this game.
My English is not good.plz forgive me.
before the first opium war, even in the beginning of 19 centuries, the British started to sell opiums to chinese for tea.
opiums made china almost half of chinese people sick and die, some better chinese knowed that their country is in danger,so they started to protect people from opiums and started not to allowed the British sell opiums to them. The british angry,so the first opium war started.
I just want to say, selling opiums to chinese is not good thing at all.they made chinese sick and die.Although it is just a history, but i think we should respect it.

85.2M Points. Just stick to this: Buy everything below $55, sell to any above $55, take no risks -- stockpiles are good. Last shipment, buy tea at any price -- time is the limiter not funds. When you only have one or two ships, pick ports close to the bottom, unless the top has a great deal: $80-90/crate, 20+ crates.

Why stop there? Games are no different from movies and books, the only difference is that they are interactive. Banning crime movies, books, documentaries is a good solution to the huge problem of people finding out that crime exists! That would be a good thing, of course, because hey, who needs knowledge or entertainment that involves art and information about any criminal activity?

Dear Tandu, cars are responsible for environmental problems and tens of thousands of deaths each year. So no more racing games for you. The banking system is corrupt and broken down, so no more City building tycoon games for you. Any game involving some sort of projectile hitting people and property is not for you. Any game where the hero is male or female only is not for you. Any game referencing any kind of religious or historically troubled background is not for you. Any game with the aim of obtaining another party's belongings through force is not for you. Oh wait. hang on, we are not actually selling or using dope in real life because of this one game, just as we are not actively trying to achieve highscores running over pedestrians because we played Carmageddon once in the 1990's

Who wants green tea anyway? Stupid Brits didn't grow tea in India where the best black tea comes from now. In any case drug-dealing as a game goal is revolting, no matter if it's opium, cocaine, meth or cannabis. Let's see junkies downvoting this comment.

it's actully a nice game but.... as a Chinese I must say, it's how the hundred years of disaster begun.... so 1/5 i'm sorry

after the first few trades you literally cannot buy the damn tea fast enough to fulfill the orders. Why can you only buy 30 at a time when the Queen is bitching at you that she wants 700?? ridiculous.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
No. Absolutely no. I can't stand games that not only insta-fail you if you can't complete something in time, but that run at super fast speed and you can't do anything about it. I want to look around, not panic and blindly click as I try to figure out the game. 1/5.

This is brutal. Eventually I have no way to end the misery, cannot buy anything and never really understood what was happening. Most people want to learn how to play complex games as they play games. Not need a manual to just understand what is happening after 5 full minutes of dedicated time. Graphics are good. 2/5.

This game is very luck dependent in the early game, 1838 needed 570 tea chests to advance to the next year. You can't reasonably buy that much tea in the late game because if you buy about 150 chests of tea prices of tea skyrocket. Therefore, you must stock up in the early game which is difficult with only one ship. I've noticed that many of the best deal requires lots of opium, for example 40 chests of opium at 99 each is sweet.

This game is difficult, got to around the 6-7 seventh year on 2nd try. Need quick reflex and luck. If you can stock up on lots of money, opium, and tea early the game is a lot easier. Count on losing lots of money the last few years.

Story is surely fake... Britain used a drug not called tea but OPIUM to try to conquer China and when the people of china got addicted to it they started trading it with their treasures... Britain is so great today because they abused many countries in the past.
