Suggestions: CAn we make and save our own deesigns? That would be awesome. Like, if we find a cool combo that's not an epic design, we'd be able to save it and remake it when we could.

Flipline Studios KONGratulations you just made an awesome papa's sworderia better than serving food but its a little repetitive

An option to sell materials would be great. At late game we will have tons of copper, bronze and iron that we barely gonna use.

Experience should mean something other than a rank. I should be able to upgrade gather radius, ore chance, item chance, smelting speed, cannon refresh speed, cannon damage speed.. a whole host of items! Level shouldn't be 100% meaningless.

Maybe it's just me but I'm just unable to use designs and bookmarks without having to go to the designs section quite often.
So when I press D to get to the designs section while I'm building something, having to click on Back to game feels a bit disruptive. Pressing D again to get back to wherever I was would be so nice.

does epic weapon boosts stack? like two of the same weapon that adds the same boost, instead of say +5 to luck would it be +10 if i got two of them?

I despised all of the papa louie games before this one. Even if you are not a fan, however, Jacksmith is worth trying. It avoids all the most annoying elements of the other games: there is no "waiting time" component, so you don't have to stress about getting things done quickly; there is a point other than improving the store (i.e., killing monsters); I am allowed to make design choices for my customers so long as I fulfill their basic request. 4/5 because it gets repetitive too quickly, but is still an excellent game.

I wish there was a way you could go back and play the levels that you didn't beat the first time, and I second having a sell option. I definitely like this much better than the other Papa games, especially that there is no time limit but a time bonus. All in all I really like it. Some room for improvement, but not a bad start at all. 5/5

Please add some kind of ore trader to swap useless bronze for other ores. Or allow some kind of skill minigame to improve smelting- levels II,III etc. so all metals (even bronze!) can become stronger!

So... I'm in the title screen, a really cool 'JACKSMITH' logo on it, and...and...everywhere else is a bunch of 'Papa's Sushirias' and 'Papa's Pancakerias.' I'm confused.

Ok I have only played this for about 10 minutes so far, but I can say with absolute certainty. JOB WELL DONE! As someone who has played videogames since before he could even speak properly I love that you have taken every facet of all of your previous build ______ game to serve to customers to add in a clever unique way to do battle. In addition your menus are streamlined and easy to navigate. Actually even more so than most of the triple AAA development studios out there. Great Game!

Might need an expanded help or some explanatory tooltips. When I got the Lighting Bomb, the info popup at the top of screen lasted less than half a second, so I have no idea what it does, without replaying the entire game and hoping that the info popup lasts longer.

Does Gander remind anyone else of Choose Goose? I imagine he'd say something like;
"Hey there outlander,
Come and take a gander!
I'll give you the best tips,
Including ores, caps and grips!"

I generally enjoyed this one. More for the focus on doing things precisely instead of speedrushing. There are a couple of problems with designs/pacing/padding, though.

If someone wonders, you will meet Dudley at 33th level. I did this in 50 battles.
Some tips:
1.if you exit to main menu and start game again, this will reroll enemies and soldiers.
2.You can't stall. Even if you lost on second monster, you still get experience and travel further to better cannons and materials. Even more, if you lose often, you have more weapon experience, and thus more bonuses unlocked on weapon. Copper sword + Elemental weakness will hit like steel.

@catpaw: If you set your designs to bookmarked, the parts ARE highlighted in the shop with a purple instead of a gray background.

I should be able to reuse weapons that haven't broken, and there needs to be another way to obtain ores other than doing one level and being unable to replay it.

My idea is kind of a different version of Zeratul24's comment. Instead of trading in ores for enchanted grips, I would like the ability to trade in ores for other ores ( for example, 3 bronze= 1 steel, and 5 steel= 1 iron)

Would have loved to seen shop upgrades instead of getting all the cauldrons and such.. maybe better fuel to melt the ore faster?

that depressing moment when you blow everything you have on well specialized weapons, and then you still lose, I'm ready to blame the warriors at this point
