i like the look and i loved the original. i'm not sure if pixels were expensive the day you wrote this, but did this really need to be so short vertically? it makes hitting something moving fast vertically extremely difficult.

Alright, this isn't a BAD game, but it's not good either. But you guys HAVE to cut it some slack! Seriously, it was the FIRST SHOOTER ON KONG. THIS IS THE GRANDADDY OF ALL KONGREgATE SHOOTERS.

Meteor Blaster.
Great game!

Pretty good. Your theme is great - the retro LED crystal graphics and retro sound. However, shots should cross borders. And the fact that the ship doesn't drift puts things far too much into the advantage of the player. If you're going to tribute Asteroids, gotta have the ship drift.

I used to play the original on my friend's system. I don't like that there's no 'hold space/rapid fire'. This is a nice throwback; close, but not quite.

If there's one thing I hate more than zombies, it's meteors. So I'll gladly accept any opportunity to destroy them, but I wish I didn't have to kill every last dot before progressing.
I'm digging the style, though.

One good thing - the graphical style is an improvement on the original. But the gmae loses points for not having inertia in the ship movement. Also, the non-square screen in a little odd.

5/5 just for bringing The Omega Race back to mind.
Doesn't really work without the old C-64 game paddles as the controller, and the bullets move too slowly, and hammering the space bar to shoot isn't nearly as fun as hammering on the paddle button was, but hey.

Hey, fudgumscool. How about you come back when you've made a game, eh? It wasn't THAT bad, especially for an early game.
