As others have said, the "impossible" badge is more of a test of endurance than talent. Don't sweat the 10,000,000 point requirement -- frankly, completing the campaign with *less* than 10,000,000 points would be the harder challenge!

What can we do to make this game as horrible and shitty as possible? I know! Let's make a mode where the already worthless turrets can't even be built and make the fully upgraded main weapon be about as effective as throwing rocks at a mountain. Oh and the mountain has about a million friends who can travel faster than the weapon can fire.

Want the impossible badge? Then get ready to have your mouse button held down constantly and pressing the 1,2, and 3 keys more times than you can count for the next dozen hours.

The good news is: I was only half right, in that there are four other modes, but Elite is as hard as it gets. How well you can handle that one is as hard as your Impossible badge endeavor will be. After beating Elite, you're pretty much just repeating it two more times. In fact, with Thunder Globes being built faster and being available right away, saving you 4 upgrade points, and then starting every battle with 5 Oil Rigs, those two modes are actually easier than Elite, making the Impossible badge quite an easy one compared to others. That is, unless you rely on other guns too, but honestly, half of them are crap and one should be able to do fine just constantly upgrading the normal flak gun with the three air supports when needed.

Impossible badge is just a test of patience. Keep mouse button pressed... spam '1', '2', '3'. Rinse. Repeat. Score? Who cares about score. Just get me to the next darned level.

Glad I gave this another try for the badge the other day. Last time I played this, I never really latched onto the upgrading concept. These older games are great, I cannot stand how kongregate has turned into 95% idle games... like WTF!?

For those who just started the game and feel like it's difficult, keep going a couple of levels. Once you start upgrading, it gets very easy. I'm most of the way through the first campaign on elite difficulty, and I've never had a bomb dropped on my main gun. One thing that I've found to be helpful: if you upgrade damage, firing speed, and reload speed, but don't upgrade accuracy much, you can point your gun at the middle of the left side of the screen and you'll cover the whole left side with bullets.

the hard badge is not that hard, just do the 3 sub-quests one by one, with reseting your upgrades if necessary between each one ;-) do it on a long enough level (14 waves), and use the asked calls as often as possible!

Cool Game, Same guys made GemCraft one, you can tell because the interface and upgrade and no background music during the level selection.

Played this game a few times over the course of like 6 years? But I've never gotten to the last level or boss fight even on Regular mode. I think it's maybe because I lose my saved games.

If you're gonna make the enemies harder to kill then at least give me more upgrades for my damage. I have full damage and I'm just barely able to kill balloons after the 2nd boss in elite mode.

A perfect game,really pissing me off at boss levels.Those huge costumised behemoths looks like street race cars like fast and furious.

I can't build buildings, i did 12 levels and wasn't able to build a building in one of them, numbers just didn't do anything. 1 to 3 worked fine, air support and such, but 4 5 6 7 8 9 did nothing.
I like the game concept and layout, shame about the bug.

I hate when during a level. your artillery gun stopped firing. The developers should that bug because it it annoying!

Tanks111: blimps hit only 3 buildings per pass and the boos blimps hit at most 6 buildings: this is vital on later stages where you cant kill them in one round.

finally got the impossible badge. not so much impossible, just takes a lot of time. also the winged bombs are by far the best support. just one of them instant kills any normal balloon and does a lot of damage to the giant balloons. I only ever used airstrike and support fire on boss balloons.

where is the auto fire option??? I'm at the point where the balloons come nearly non stop and there is no rest between waves.

here is all the balloon types that i have seen so far and what they do, gray: nothing special and very basic. camouflage: move slightly when shot so the plane units wont be very useful. red: i have not got very far so i dont know to much about them, they move in a sort of zigzag pattern, and i think they act like the camouflage to. blimp: high HP drops a bomb on every one of your turrets. the bosses: even high HP will one hit kill you and your turrets if you dont have armor upgrades

great game, and you should get the highest score on the levels before you fight the bosses to unlock more upgrade points

Secret way for medium achievement is to 5 star the first 5 maps and then beat the secret map. Way easier than taking on Mr.Bossman.

By golly, I finally beat the final boss (elite mode). It takes some time and more than a little skill, but once you've five-starred every other level, even the secret ones, you should have enough points to max out the first two panes in the upgrade screen, as well as the last (Support abilities). Use your remaining points to unlock the thunder globe. In the last level, build thunder globes as often as you can and activate all Support abilities when those zeppelins arrive. The DPS of the thunder globes should tide you over until the boss, where it's just a question of timing your Support abilities and firing constantly. Good luck!
