-1 for the boss fight. Not only are you forced to wait through his pattern before damaging him at all (even if you 'trick' him into your shots he takes no damage), but you can only hit him once per rotation, encouraging you to waste ammo from your rapid-fire gun before you discover this. And since you have to spend so much time in the boss fight -waiting-, all the Gun Power upgrade does is adds another chunk of cash that you have to accumulate before beating the game is possible.

Potential, really liked it. Likes: upgrade system, johny's run animation, concept and coin system. Dislikes: death slo mo of bad guys, boss was boring/easy (though it fitted the shortness of the game). Gonna be critical and give it a 4/5

Really liked the game. Short and sweet. The boss wasn't too difficult but I thought it fit perfectly. He should be easy if you have all the upgrades, just like all the other things in the game. That was the feeling I got from the game anyway. Also the "gun" was very satisfying. Not sure if it's the sound effect from it or what but it was well executed.

I enjoyed it a lot ~ But I only gave it a 4/5... Simply because once I was able to get to the boss, it was all about saving up to max your time limit, because you couldn't "rush" to kill him.. you had to wait for his pattern to be complete. I feel like having a time limit, and then being unable to work extra fast on that brought it down a little bit

The boss is easy, stand under it most of the time, move to avoid his shots, when he does the double one, just stay under him, move to the left and right, and move out when he slams down, shoot him, repeat a few times, win.

The Boss is horendous. Not sure why it's supposed to be easy? It has undodgeable attacks, and I can't hit it unless I die first. I was kinda enjoying this even though it was short, but, Can't be bothered to figure out your secret method of killing the magic boss. Maybe as long as we're buying Captain Dork feet that work, we could by him arms the let him point up?

How retarded is it that I can't shoot up? Maybe there should be an upgrade for that. You could call it a shoulder or something.

Jump control really should behave more analog. There's that one coin over the spikes I can't get anymore, since my jump arc is too high now.

Really fun game :) It would be awesome on the next one to provide more levels and upgrades and bosses. Actually what would be cool is if before each level you had to start fresh on specific upgrades, which would extend the gameplay. Or you could choose the skills before each level and you can only choose up to so many skills (the quantity can also be an upgrade). So that way the player has to play the level and from there make choices which skill is best to use at that time to help get them through the level. Also if they didnt fully upgrade in previous levels they can go back and max them out and find hidden secrets/items within the level that wouldnt have been reached previously. These are just some ideas i have that i thought i would share :) Great game! 5/5!

Fun game. Liked the start when he just dies immediately. Had me a little confused until I realized that it was supposed to be that way. The boss is only easy after you lose a few lives figuring out its behavior. Enjoyed it.

That was a really fun fifteen minutes or so. The short time it took to earn the upgrades, and the massive benefits you got from them, made the upgrade system ITSELF a lot of fun, and not feel like an arbitrary way to extend playtime. Fun all the way through, and I hope you make a big game like this that's equally entertaining all the time some day, but either way, thank you for this.

what Heatless? You can kill the boss in 4 hits... just watch how he attacks, don't attack him until he jumps downwards (and don't jump either). Repeat 4x with one shot and you win. Simple!

Erm.. how do I kill the boss when I only have 20 shots of ammo and it doesn't kill him completely? I maxed out everything

To anyone needing to beat the boss,
make sure you have maxed out health, gun ammo and pwr. You also need enough jump to reach the shortcut when u go left from spawn.
Basicly, during the boss fight, dodge the random shots it shoots out. Once it starts shooting in a spiral, stay beneath the boss. Soon, the boss will be shooting straight down, but as long as you stay between the two streams of fire, you're safe. Once the boss stops firing and flies up, move out of the way and avoid it squishing you. Then when its stunned on the ground, let loose your fire, remember that the boss is stunned only for a few secs, so you'll have to redo the process.

Hmm am I missing a trick here? I'm finding the boss pretty hard :P - It's just when he shoots tons of bullets in a row - is there actually a way to avoid that attack? Hahaha Maybe I'm just failing miserably
