What really ruined the game for me was the arbitrariness. The player is completely at the mercy of the designer in terms of getting upgrade points. This is particularly felt in the survival mission, where the player starts with a bare bones base, no upgrade points for a long, long time, and vastly upgraded enemies. If you replaced the arbitrary "no points for you until I say so" with a system where every killed unit gives a few points, much like, I don't know, EVERY TOWER DEFENSE GAME EVER, the game wouldn't feel as blatantly unfair. Maybe.

Nice enough game but let down badly by an upgrade system that seemed to be almost random. If I pressed reset all (which wasn't always an option) suddenly some weapons couldn't be upgraded. The main cannon fired too slowly as well. Would have been good to be able to upgrade the spread of the missile. Will look forward to the next one.

Without persistent upgrades, there isn't any incentive for replaying older levels. Each time you start a level it seems as though you just started a new game, and have to earn all the upgrades yet again. It's a good game, but can be improved on. 4/5.

Black screen on Chrome, same on Firefox. Starts right after the BoomBlox intro and goes to a "Commercial". Really, it's as if you don't want people to play this!

Like the Idea of a tower defense game being comtrolled from space. However 2 mins ago I researched a new upgrade, 1 level later they seem to have forgotten it. They deserve to die. Evolution says so!

woot i passed the entire game without nukes and deaths at all tip: upgrade the first weapon u get alot mine was lv 19 =) it hhelpful alot specially in last mission wit lke 10 roads :/ but still a great game 5/5

As a completionist it irks me that kong would make the badge of the day on a game that I can't play due to the game not working.

Isn't a bad game. But looks like a tutorial: all upgrade points are decided by the dev, we dont know when they will appear; we cant buy the upgrades we want when we want; the missiles appear perfectly positioned to save us. It is weird.
The game would be better if the gamer had more freedom and if it was really challenging. 3/5
