Very fun! Although this is the only game I've ever played in which I can have an 85%-90% chance of hitting an enemy and miss 6 times in a row consistently. It makes the game a lot harder.

Word of warning, don't try chapter 5 on Hardcore / Hardest difficulty. I did so, even set the thing to level 1 encounters, thought it would be a cake walk. It. Was. Not. The level 5 hardcore enemies were incredibly challenging, that campaign is long and difficult with many boss fights. Do it normally or you'll regret it.

LOVE it. Amazing sequel unlike mos games. Only thing i honestley hate though is the amount of times enemies dodge my attacks without any buffs and I usually still miss the enemies unless its 90% and up. Is it just my awful luck or ?

I got the premium feature and I didn't understood the "True Hit" modifier. So, the accuracy calculated after I turn on that option active is more "accurate" than the common hit calculator?

i'm playing with two pure endurance radiance clerics, a conjuror, two war golems, and a ranger spamming swiftness for mana... and... campaign 4 is becoming a snore fest... Too much defense in my setup but no offense D:

So addicting, I wish I had more party members of each type so I don't need to have my level 78 Champion tagging along with my lower level heroes. Still love the game :D

Wow, you did a great job here, i really like the enhancements like being able to go to the emporium anytime, items enhancements, special features based on the renown, the clock showing character's turns, the various equipment sets ...
Awesome job, i wish you all the best for your sequel, i can say it'll be a huge success, keep up the good work guys.
I saw a beholder already, i can't wait to disintegrate it ;-)
TIPS for new players :
Try to gather light blue sets at first, use your sparks of legend on weapons (you can get it back later on)
Focus on quickness/first action and slowing down ennemies later on.
Try to get a multiple targets stunner / critical hit or more
That's my way of geting flawless victories on anything else than bosses, even with only a dynamic duo (mage/cleric)

3 days and still going. 1/3 - 1/2 done, maybe? In bags' preference, there's a conflict with (___ or greater) and epic (or greater); maybe needs a _____ (or lesser).

great game, although act iv has to be fixed-if you can't save it even BETWEEN battles then i can't beat more than a few because i have to close it when I'm done playing

Tip: If your new to this equip the conjurer and select the spells "Disintegrate" and "Time warp" It is very useful for bosses and enemies that revives.

The battle system is a huge step up from previous title. However character system took a wrong step in the direction. Players could have been given more choices, both skill and job wise, which I am sure most will agree. Improvement on graphic is appreciated, however resource issue need to be taken into consideration. This is especially so if there are intention to port your games over to mobile. Biggest downside is lack of grind I think. Just hope the next release can take more of players suggestion into implementation. 5/5 as always.

Have you tried equipping your warriors with lightweight heavy or medium armor? Being able to destroy the enemy before they even have a chance to deal damage is a powerful advantage.

Not to sure what it is that died on this one.
I did enjoy it and bought the premium partly more on the edge to support the series.
If there's another series I wonder if you could get a story mode involved.
Which I mean a real campaign where what you do changes the flow of game play.
At the end it would open up hybrid classes which would make the premium content much more enjoyable. As well as unlocking a set of new classes to use.

to get the death maker badge get a mage and when you get a chance to upgrade your powers choose the fireballs. Then use the fireballs on two people that have low health. Hope this helps...

I only docked you one star because you took away so many of the awesomesauce monsters you used to have. The deep creatures, the greenskins, the dwarves...not to mention you got rid of the barbarian! But still, I like the idea of secret rooms, and the fact that there are plots beyond just "get to floor X and kill Y thingies to get the artefact you need to kill Z."
Also: needs werewolves. And enough with defaming the necrophagi, already!

Damn. I keep trying to give these developers money, but kongregate just wont let me. I was "temporarily" blocked from using a credit card for a few years now. I really wish I could support these developers, but kongregate is just so shoddy sometimes. So many great features in this game.

Awesome game and a worthy sequel... Absolutely loved 'Book of Dread'.
I'm at level 9 / Act III so far in Chronicles, my only minor 'gripe' so far is that the loot system doesn't feel quite as varied and generous as Book of Dread's... Though definitely not enough of an issue to be a 'gamebreaker' - I'll stick it out and see if things changes as I progress (I've had 2 purples and 1 legendary spark so far... Everything else has been generic, forgettable blues & greens).
Another minor is the combat system, I miss the 'synergy' of creating openers with my rogue , triggering an extra attack by another party member. The Leadership perk etc. The combat doesn't feel quite as satisfying as Book of Dread's... Slightly slower paced perhaps. To finish on a positive, I do like the terrain condition tiles and the improved look of the game (although I would have still been happy if Chronicles retained the visual theme of Book of Dread).
Overall, an amazing series of games!
