@helloman: If you are having trouble, do the first act in easy mode. Take your best man and 3 others to buff his damage (like cleric who can give +%75 damage on one attack) and then just go and maul some priest.

@Helloman911: It will become near impossible to one shot someone as you get to higher levels, the only real chance you have is at lvls 1 - 10, where the enemies are weak and you have slightly overpowered equipment.

followed the series, now you can purchase better items the buy them BUT shouldnt investing lower the price?
(5/5 though)

The the emporium and inventory, the game should remember what was last selected and use the same setup next time you enter in it.
i.e. if last time my 2nd backsac was open, then next time the same bag should be open when entering inventory, etc. Constantly having to select it again is a real hassle.
Graphics: Way better than the 1st game.
Interface and ease of use: The 1st game was actually better because it involved a LOT less "clickfest".Ã in order to do things.

@iCreepzs You are correct. Most games are not about customization. I guess the only ones "about customization" are paper-doll games.
I just find it funny how, not customized, it is in a vast majority of games a male protagonist. The male buff (because darn, those muscles, eh?) champion is the norm, and being able to play female is obviously a privilege I should be thankful for in the handful of games where this is an option.
Thing is, the predecessor had this option, and this one doesn't. And I really enjoyed the first one. And apart from that this is a very customizable game. Hair styles, beards, what armor should show etc. Why not bother making a female sprite?
Because it's not as trivial as you think. Every piece of armor and equipment is a separate graphic, which are composited together. That means to support female characters, a LOT of art needs to be re-done. I couldn't afford it during development. I can now, and I have an artist working. Female characters will be added in a 2.0 update later this year.

@Pakris The game isn't about character customization, it's a strategy/rpg game. If you wanna play something with more character customization, there are plenty on this very website.

Amazing game! Everything in it is awesome, I love the feel of everything in the game :). I think pvp might be a cool addition to the game.

@Davtwan I would still have played it, if it hadn't been for the fact that I am forced to play the stereotypical male (manly as frick) adventurer. Guess I might have been a bit harsh, but I am so tired of being forced to adapt to a chauvinistic environment, just because I enjoy games...

Great game, loads of fun. Although I must agree with PJ6211, having the monsters scale with the characters takes away some of the fun. On WoW I often go back to the bosses that gave me trouble at level 15 or so and kill them with 1 hit counter damage (fire shield, thorns, etc).

Wow, all my characters lost. Didn't know clearing my cache and cookies and history would wipe the saves for this game. Dammit.

I am just curious if there is a level cap? im at 101 and rising, when i reset my characters to level 1, ill be equiped with tier 37 equipment lol

I found a bug.
Finally i reached the 19 wave in the survival mode and died.
2 of my characters gained 5000 exp but it doesnt seems to be added to my characters.

Seems entertaining, but a bug prevents me from deleting my previous saved game's info. No matter what, my inventory remains.

Waited so long for a sequel, I have to say I'm impressed. There are a few little things I would like to see involved, but I can't complain, you have made a wonderful game, loved all of the three games, 15/15 for you.

Alright I have been playing for a while now and I REALLY want to know what formulas you use to come up with hit chance because they are just plain wrong. I get more like a 50% hit chance when it displays 87%... what!? I should have to get lucky to hit at 30% not have to pray to hit at 80%.

It would be nice if you could "build" items. For example: a button in the emporium that allows the selection of a type (sword, body-piece), design (reinforced, flex-weave), and bonuses (Mighty ___ of Insight). I'm a little tired of building cash for nothing meaningful.

This game is perfect. My only pseudo complaint is I wish there was more liberty with character editing. Perhaps add another roster of characters, with even female counterparts.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Kaleadoskope: Yes, that's intentional. The penalty is that you have to start the campaign over, rather than staying where you are and losing exp or items.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey, hardcore mode doesn't actually delete your adventurers when you die, it just deletes the save file. If you die in hardcore ode, and then start a new campaign, all your items are still there, as well as your levels. Is this intentional?

@dsrtrosy They will become more frequent as your party gains levels. Eventually, restocking will also have increased tiers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Thanks, Davtwan. There must be fewer of the higher tier items--so far I've only received one tier 2 item, and I'm fighting level 5 enemies.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@dsrtrosy - As items increase in tier, certain aspects such as damage, armor, and bonuses increase along with the tier. The type of items that drop will increase in tier when fighting enemies with higher levels. For example, Tier 2 items are dropped when fighting level 4 enemies.
