For those who don't understand the ending the man insane. the point is the he sees the world in black and white bars. I think with saying that the rest is pretty self-explanatory.

must me glitched-the computer (in-game) won't work-just makes a weird noise and nothing changes-so i can't win the game and move on!

This is smart, I really like it! I didn't get all the barcodes, but it was my first try and I think I did pretty good!

I've played this game for god knows how long, and just now I figured out how to get all 30 bar codes. For all of you wondering, when you enter the tunnel that leads you to the mental house, turn left/right and you'll be facing the wall, allowing you to scan the barcodes.

Interesting game. Don't really get the thinking behind the spider...I have an electric knife, lets saw the bugger in half, nah...lets kill it with ****. Why?!? 30/30 in 1250 seconds. Like the twist at the end.

u must go to the computer win the game then mail comes scanner is in mail that should be enough to get u started its all i needed the rest came to me :)

I got the scanner alright. But when I reached the end tunnel, it won't let me use the scanner and escorted me right out... I saw all these barcodes on the walls but couldn't scan them, so I always got 14/30. Am I missing something??

The fact that you can beat the game without the scanner is an analogy for going through life with out questioning, or perhaps the scanner represent introspection? In either case it really is ingenious to allow the player to beat the game without it. Just like real life.
