Under rating threshold (show) I'd have much rather had the powerful words in their own seclusive levels, or an option to not have them, as it many times get in the way of the reading.

Under rating threshold (show) It's a really amazing game but the levels are really, really long (even too long?) without any checkpoints.

Under rating threshold (show) On my first try A+ and a score of 1000, without getting hit and not missing a single word ... BTW the Jump skill works even if you bump on something. Thats based on what I just did o0n the Tutorial :D

Under rating threshold (show) I rather think there should be a story mode-or version, if you prefer-and a poetry one. I found The Nameless City...awesome, and the poetry a bit boring.

Under rating threshold (show) the game is just amazing! i was kinda sad to see that the nameless city parts 1 2 and 3 were separated by other stories, i was so into the nameless city part one that i wanted to play part two right away but i couldn't other than that onve more it was amazing:)

Under rating threshold (show) Do not all words hold power? Though it would make such a game impossible, it seems wrong to deny the majority of the words in this game the power they truly possess. Though, the comments of those who have played and loved this game perhaps attest more deeply to the power of these words than any mechanic.

Under rating threshold (show) i love it :) but is there not an impossibility in getting an A+ for every level? the speed-things seem to be locked, and i found one word one can not highlight: in the unnamed city part 1, "footholes in a *preciptous* _descent_ " (* ... * being a red word, and _ descent _ below being the non-reachable word)

Under rating threshold (show) To turn such art into such a game is truly a remarkable way of getting priceless scriptures out there to the masses. I saw a few poems I havn't seen before, and that was a marvelous feeling to gain, especially when I expected to head to kongregate and attain far less wholesome entertainment.

Under rating threshold (show) I really enjoy the poetry, Especially The Nameless City. The music, and the words and backgrounds really set the mood. It makes it more enjoyable to read, and makes it even easier to get sucked into the poems and stories.

Under rating threshold (show) OH COME ON! Just make them powerful words visible, will you? Honestly, it annoyed the hell out of me to be killed without even knowing what happened! You don´t expect me to MEMORIZE the places of these powerful words, now do you?

Under rating threshold (show) Is it actually possible to get 100%? I am currently ranked at no 4 in the world (trying like hell to get to at least number 3) but for the life of me I can not figure out how to get to "descent" on The Nameless city part 2, part three I'm struggling with just because of the length and the powerful words- but at least there I can hit all of them. N.B no one else has seemed to get 100% on all of them otherwise they would have 10,000 instead of 9,998. Anywho! I think this is a great game, it’s very well made, I love the "little sighing sandstorm" and all of the visual cues that help you to really FEEL the story; I think the best made one is Alice in wonderland. and yes people some of them are a hell of a lot longer than the poems, that’s part of the fun, it takes at least 3 hours to get nameless city part 1 done 100%-and its taken me at least 4 days to get it all there, apart from part two and three, god my eyes are hurting, back to the small steep steps for me! Going on day five

Under rating threshold (show) Some of the levels are just too long. I got frustrated and stopped even trying to read the text or highlight all the words 'cause I just wanted to be done with it. I also wish there was a way to pause the game mid-level. Also, it was annoying that I couldn't tell the difference between black space that I could stand on and black space that would kill me.

Under rating threshold (show) In the nameless city I fell between 'sandstorms had long effaced' and 'any carvings which may have.' It respawned me inside the word 'had' and I'm thusly unable to move. I do love coming back to play this game but it does have occasional bugs in respawning. Still love it though :)

Under rating threshold (show) I love the concept of this game. It is a very minimalist appearance, with no fancy backgrounds or effects. It really gives you a chance to read great literature, (Huge H.P Lovecraft junkie.) While being able to have fun while doing it. The effects, such as moving words, and word collage backgrounds really adds depth to the game. Plus the level design is very well thought out and the "Powerful words" idea is wonderful and makes the game much harder. Thanks so much for the 2 hours I spent playing this, Gregory.

Under rating threshold (show) Very unique game. Love the way the background matches what your reading. The "deadly" words is a nice tough that adds a little challenge to this gem. You should make a sequel with more poems and great works of literature, and give the players an option to build their own levels with their own works. Fantastic game, unique concept, great written word choices all around superb.

Under rating threshold (show) The Nameless City affected me in a way reading it never has before. In fact, in a way no horror story ever has. Simply incredible. That said, I agree with Angryhobo that it was too long for an early level, as 15 minutes of that made me not want to continue today. A nice addition, in my book, would be a counter to see how many words we'd touched compared with how many there were in total. I think it would make the long levels a little easier to handle, knowing exactly how far you had to go.

Under rating threshold (show) A very good game. I like how the idea combines the capacity of books, and the fun of video games. It has very good, somber music, and a lot of good writing. I've never think I've said this before, but I think this game makes me want to read books. I think I'll start with the Odyssey.... + if you liked.
