Since performing the limit break, my character is offscreen unless he does an attack. Then he quickly enters and attacks (at the place where he normally should be standing) before returning offscreen.

Great start. Excellent music, art, and voice acting. Sounds like same dude who does the voices in Evil-Dog's games. Like others have said, a bestiary would be a cool feature, but I would also like to see some defensive spells.

The game is, technically, really good. Good graphics, good style, good music. There are still some bugs here and there, but nothing crucial. I also appreciate a lot the new game plus thing, it's always a pleasure to see this feature in an rpg :P. This Elona's main flaw is that it hasn't got any particular perk. The possibility to customize the main character, a faster battle sistem (both enemies and the hero can take tooo much damage), or a more complex/tactical one (All I need to do to finish the game is just healing every once in a while and attack for the rest of the time, with some spells thrown here and there). These are just examples. :P With a bit more "unique" personality, this game could compete with giants like sonny or epic battle fantasy. ;)

bugged out on last guy,used limit break 2 and the attack stayed on the screen the whole time and half way through the fight the bosses action bar stopped moving and stopped attacking

nice game, great music and fun weapon system hope to see more of it in the future. Spells show what we can expect and i guess the over powerd part of some spells was intentional but most statuses can stack causing stop to make the final boss a push over... other than that i'd say with a little more work it could be the next epic battle fantasy 5/5

Is a bit buggy. Playing through the final boss for awhile he just stopped and didn't do anything, didn't even have the attack timer. I don't know if there was a reason the status effect icons were stacked off the screen. I was able to take down at least half his health while he was stopped. Made the boss a lot easier though.

I hit a weird bug - after my use of the limit break, the character shifted off-screen, moving halfway across the screen to perform attacks.

isnt the power of the char too unbalanced to be an rpg? we start at lvl 2 with an 1shoot kill attack and we have a 1shoot attack for every enemy from dat level

I feel as though the music choice for "victory" was a very bad choice :( Although the game is good, the music at the end of each fight makes the game lose a lot of it's luster. Especially considering it's the same soundtrack after every fight -_-

Timer on final boss is slowed. Intended?
Phoenix Strike is far better then Limit Breaker 2. Intended?
Regen animation is stacks one above another but not disappear wher buff wears off. So at the final fight I had 3 +++ above my head and doesnt saw my Frenzy buff. BTW Frenzy stack icon too, but disappear when wears off.

My problem with this game, is when you beat the last boss you automatically go back to the beginning. This means you cant get any of the high end materials needed to create the most powerful weapons (if you havnt gotten them before) around about the second half of the second area battles become massive grindfests, with no real worry of death but they take forever to finish

Just a minor bug: sometimes, after a limit break, the last frame of the limit break does not disappear, leaving orange stripes or a white screen!

After seeing a lot of negative comments about the game, i thought i was not going to like it but hey, it is kinda different, i like it ^^

I don't always comment on game,but these comments make me sad,so I wanted to give my honest opinion. true that game is short and rather buggy,no doubt. still this is prelude so when the "main" game comes you could fix most biggest problems. as game was short,I didn't really get bored at it like I did with Final Fantasy. real time turn based is rather unique way, although I'd like it more that when bar fills,it stops time, as it would not cause me constant panic. I agree that game is really easy. beat it without grinding at all, but I like easy. so add difficulty lvls. I really like "prestige" mode that makes enemies harder,which adds challenge but for how long people want to play it? then I'd like to know enemies weakness and stuff. they should have more unique attacks,more unique effects and elements! it felt weird to not have visible elements. although people complained about lack of equipment and skills,it's not that bad.

My only complaint was that the game was way too easy. I didn't die once (not even close really, even against the last boss which was actually easier than the 3 healers wave, with the two skulls). I also found a trick to the last boss half way through the fight. If you sit in the back and spam ramei, he'll eventually (after like 3, 4 stacks) slow so much that he literally stops for a few turns. Then you can switch to the front row and spam regen mana+phoenix strike to severely hurt him. Or Ramei him permanently still if you want. Why did the game restart at the beginning with all the areas locked but no added difficulty?

I encountered a bug. When I died, my avatar completely disappeared. The game still played as normal, but I was invisible. It was a little annoying.

I enjoyed the game immensely. Though the last boss got bogged down with Rami so it just became a bit monotous. I usually like boss which are just all high hit points, but have a super weakness based on a certain spell or weapon. Makes me pay attention more. Otherwise lots of other good comments here and ill definitely play the next installment.

The final boss has a little ridiculous health. I mean, 200k+? Until I got him down to around 50k, I figured I'd poison him. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT SOONER?

Great prelude, good voice over (although a little too frequent in my opinion), fun combat and amazing music. Can't wait for the next one.
