First off loved the game! Few games have me grinding even when there are no achievements on Kongregate, you had me doing just this. I agree it was short; but only because I simply wanted more. Great simple gameplay, love it. Bugs I found: 1.) If you kill something with poison you will still attack the air if you had preselected it. 2.) Mana Regen very overpowered makes spamming spells easy. 3.) Out of sync ending; slides not moving with voices. 4.) I played on a laptop where I clicked the arrow to scroll on the weaponsmith; only worked sometimes other times bar would lower but images of weapons didn't move.
Last comment; final boss with so much hp was easy with Poison/Slow combo I really didn't even have to fight it.

A very enjoyable game. 5/5 -- however, there were a couple problems I noticed. First, frenzy stacks indefinitely. Secondly, you can inflict the same status ailments multiple times on each enemy with cumulative results. Third, landslide is the most powerful move -- not the one that costs 600mp. I was casting landslide for ~250k damage a hit on my second run through the game; compared to about 35k damage on limit break 3 and phoenix strike. Obviously the damage calc is off on those moves. Still, great game. Can't wait for the actual game!

Using Firefox, and Fullscreen isn't working. Not sure if it's due to Flash or due to Firefox using Ctrl-F for Find. Either way, a clickable Fullscreen option in the Settings menu would be nice.
this button should be visible if fullscreen is allowed - its working for us in firefox and chrome, not sure what could be the problem, will investigate !

I think I'm experiencing a hard core memory drain or something. Animations last MUCH longer than the effects, and towards the end of the boss fight, he's regenerating his time bar around 4 times as fast as I am, despite being slowed, while I have frenzy on. My limit breaks don't even show the animation anymore, it's so laggy.

"exciting spin on the turn based RPG genre"? It is almost an idle game, no skill required whatsoever. The last monster is the dumbest thing in the history of RPG: you slow him down, cast regenerate, and it does almost less damage then you regenerate; pretty much as any other monster, boss or not. However it has 230k HP. Is he trying to bore me to death? The hardest achievement to get was "Died!".

Like the simple design and layout! I typically abandon this sort of game if it takes me more than ten minutes to figure everything out. The art also reminds me of the old game boy color games--very nice. My major complaint however is the protagonist is annoying as heck--give him a better attitude and this will be golden!

beat the game 2 times. only way to beat the 2nd run through for me was to poison the enemy waves. armor break them all with the final move. and sit in defensive stance and keep stacking de-buffs on them. (aka poison and armor break) fun game but short, the new game plus was alot harder than i thought. and run 3 is looking even more so grim. 5/5 hoping for more chapters to this game!

Your update (I believe) just screwed up the game. no saved game, I had to start over, but I am level 35 with a basic sword and no magic or skills, nor do I gain any when I level up.

If you get "armor break" ailment twice you cant ever recharge your turn again so you're basically dead. Please fix this. I was loving the game but this ruined my experience. Happened on the wave 3/3 on the "desolace" encounter. I stopped playing after that happened. I really hope this doesn't happen on the sequel

When I saw the name, I thought I saw "Elona", and got really excited.
And then I was intensely disappointed after I started playing...

Fantastic Game :) Would be great if it had a skill system implemented, and i have to agree with other comments, even though its a prelude, i felt it was a little short. Music is great, graphics are great, five stars for me :)

One invincible character with only one attack. Maybe the most repetitive game I have ever played and that's saying a lot.

Game's pretty meh, nothing new to see really. If you get the bug that will not allow you to click standard or special attacks, you can use heals and mana regen until you get limit break. After limit break the bug seems to go away.

Battle music is practically identical to the opening theme of Avadon: The Black Fortress....just a chant here and there thrown on top.

possible bug. So I hit the wastelands and I start the zone. First fight is an armored carnifex and one of the flying bug things. I hit icestorm, kill the bug, and then I can only cast healing spells apparently and the carnifex is stuck as well.

I was so excited when my dislexia made me think I saw Elona. The city walls at the beginning, made me think it was an Elona shooter prequel.

Sorry to say this, but the RPG tag is highly misleading. There's pretty much no decision making in the game, aside from battle tactics. Oh wait, I can decide if I want a faster or a more damaging sword. The battle strategy isn't deep, either, thanks to endless mana and life. I hope dequels will give us more choices in developing characters, because I enjoyed the graphics style and the voice acting.

So many ppl say "this is a great game, but if you did this". I do not know these ppl, I've enjoyed this game as is, and am VERY looking forward to the sequel :)

They give you a spell to refill your mana. That costs 0 mp. And it gives you 5000 mp, when your mana pool capped out at the end of the game at about 800. And another heal that restores 5000, when your hp pool tops out at about 4000. Slow status makes enemies a non-issue, poison makes the last boss lose 8000 hp a turn, cure spells being cheap - 0 mp for one of them - means status effects on you are not a threat. The real cost here is in turns - so I made the quickest weapon I saw, some copper shortsword, and never bothered making another sword. So you have infinite mana, a heal that will for sure 100% heal you, and the ability to take about 8 or so turns to an enemy's one. To say that the game was easy is understating it! "Exciting spin" - No, it's not exciting, and there's already at LEAST 3 games ON THIS SITE that do this exact - EXACT - gameplay concept, AND they do it BETTER! They have challenge and they allow swapping gear out mid-fight to adjust your strategy.

Also started at level 30, so it was virtually impossible to die. Also never got any attack options other than "Standard attack," meaning playing this game had zero options. I'm not sure if that's a bug, or if that was done deliberately to make this an "art preview" or some such, but it completely killed the experience.

Cool, aber etwas ist blöd weil man nur zwei atribute angrief und speed
Trotzdem supi eine idee ist zwei weitere wie zum beispiel Verteidigung und Magie. Vieleich mehr equiment und mehr helfer.
