Hey jesse44221, the power up ya missed was psionic whistle witch summons your kitty back toward ya useful for time achievement isn't it?

@thewagonboy
The smiley face at the end of the course is not a power up-once you grab it, the game tells you that you have earned the "sekrit" in-game achievement. Plus this so nobody has to waste their time like I did trying to find out what it is; I am not saying you do not have to get it, though.
Got all the Kongregate achievements in one run-took me around 95 minutes. Good luck!

I've played all of these games, and I honestly enjoy all of them. Except this one. IDK what the developer was on when they thought the mechanics in this game were a good idea, but I really wanna get that high.

So, after getting the kitty, the supposedly smart robot (cuz he's a robot, he's supposed to be smart) just dumped all of his weapon arsenal and decided "Hey, I dont need my missiles and gun! Ill just throw this kitty at the enemies!" :]

The first one "Robot wants kitty" was much superior to this sequel. While in the first one your skills allowed you to breeze through the game, this sequel requires you to wait for the enemy patterns to line up to be able to pass. Or rely blindly on luck for the kitty to lead the enemy away, instead of running right at you.

A tip for the hard badge is the cat stops attacking enemies if you die so you can get them out of the way of places without having to kill them if you are careful. Takes much longer though with the backtracking.

Blocko is the worst boss design I've seen in some time... not hard, but incredibly frustrating since it's only possible to avoid its attacks by standing right next to it, mostly because it fires them at the exact angle to hit you at the apex of your jump, and you can't alter your jump height.

Tip for Tuesday (Badge of The Day seekers): Make sure you get the 10th Claws upgrade before freeing the dog, that way you can get both medium badges.
Also: Escape + Continue respawns doors. This helps very much at a certain point.

"Tip: Enemies ALWAYS turn around when grabbed by the cat. Plan accordingly. Nothing is random." <-- The black robot with the red optics band does NOT turn around when grabbed by the cat.

Oh yeah, having to wait for the half-a-second that I can get past the FIRST ENEMIES IN THE GAME without dying is amazingly fun...

Thank goodness this hard badge only tracks the amount of times you kill an enemy, and not how many times you yourself die.

The mechanics wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that 1) you had to retrieve the kitty every time you threw it (unless it "dies") even 5 monsters were in the way, making dying mandatory, 2) enemies sometimes RUN AT YOU while attacked by the kitty and still kill you, 3) there's so many enemies positioned in the worst places, meaning just getting from section to section a pain. ALSO I GOT STUCK and trapped in an area with a shielding red enemy when I had only clearance up to 2. . . could not open the gate 3 and 8 that blocked off the rest of the path and the save point put me in an area that I could not jump out of, as I only had the hover upgrade. Next time, please play test before releasing a game!!

Why, oh, why not use "C" for flying? It's so easy to accidentally double jump when gliding among electric fences... (Apart from that, it's a great sequel to Robot Wants Kitty.)
