Super fun game but it would really benefit from having some properly translated instructions. Maybe recruit a native english speaker? I'd be happy to help.

I really like the way that this game works. Maybe if there was a marking system (drag one of the creatures over an unchecked square or something) this would be even better.

Wow. This is a seriously awesome take on minesweeper. Unfortunately, most people don't like minesweeper and won't like this little twist.

Very interesting, nice twist on minesweeper. It appears that a lot of the complaints are based on misunderstandings of minesweeper itself, so don't assume that everyone knows how to play it. Anyways, good game, 3/5!

This is a game that I could lose hours of my life to. The one suggestion I could make is, perhaps, make an in game shop. When you uncover one of the blank squares, you get a gold coin, and you can spend that to buy armor which would give damage resistance, or a weapon that would deal more damage, or even health potions. The game's difficulty is right on there with minesweeper: which is to say, still a little too hard. It's fun regardless.

I loved this game. I think the concept is great, it's just the actual flash file that needs work. Being able to access different difficulties within the same file rather than in a new site would be good, as well as a playable tutorial. I think once a few of those things get put in, it would be awesome. Also, using the Kong API so best times could go up, and maybe even gets some badges, would bring a lot more replayability and fun.

Really cool. The version here gets easy pretty quickly, but there are links to harder difficulty settings in the game description.

Great Take on Minesweeper. Clarify the Instructions a bit and then it would be good to go. Good Job. Simple and neat.

In the interest of helping, I'm going to re-write the rules in a slightly less confusing way:
The object of the game is to defeat all monsters. Monsters are hidden under tiles, and can be 1 of 5 different levels, shown at the bottom of the screen from left to right.
When you click on a tile that has a monster, if you are the same level or higher than the monster, you kill it and gain XP equal to it's level. If it's a higher level than you, you lose an amount of HP dependent on how much higher a level it was than you.

once I realized what exactly numbers mean it was great mixture of fun and challenge - I was able to clear whole desk for second try!

now only thing missing is that if you tag a square with a number and you click on that square it should only open if you're level equals or is higher than the mark on the square

I will give this a 5/5 in the hopes that a high ranking will encourage a better translation of the instructions (as it stands the rules are in LouWeed's comment, not the game instructions).

This is the greatest game ever. I have always loved combinations of a well known puzzle archetype and an RPG, and this one is very original. I cant stop playing.

THIS is exactly what I love Kongregate for. It's challenging yet forgiving, quick to play and very original. A known concept with a perfect additional kick. I rarely give 5/5 and only to games where the developers worked a lot and you can see it. I'll make an exception here.

This game is awesome! I remember when I first heard about it and I had a lot of fun playing it on the original website even though I had to use chrome's translate feature to understand what was going on. I'm glad to see it's on Kongregate now. 5/5
