would be cool if you could actually type for exmple "strong dot" and you would automatically get a dot with the strong buff applied. so you could type "strong armored dot" etc aswell. without having to press enter in between

I just beat the entire game without any upgrades and without using special. All dot spam got me through the entire game.

armored strong special armored strong special strong special strong special
at that point I stopped typing anything since I knew I'd already won 12.

Heres another Tip: You can apply Armored and Strong in one game, and use Special in the next and still have it be Armored and Strong. Helps with 12. Go to 1 and Dot, get some more mana and send two more Dot(s) and type in Armored and Strong. Your first spawn is beefed up!

step1: type words...... special. step2: type words.... turret. step3: type some more words until ennemies get near the castle... dot. step4: type some words while dot is alive.... missile. step5: do from step 3 and 4 until win. missiles did the offence part

Every single level in the game, aside from the last one, can be beaten with 1 unit. You have some serious balancing to do.

Reasonable potential, but could use a higher difficulty level and more variation in levels. I didn't have much fun with it, since I can already type really fast; after I figured out how to summon units, I couldn't lose. More in-game strategy, different scenarios, and a more advanced vocabulary would be nice. (Maybe the vocabulary could be its own upgrade, or come as a side effect of a max mana upgrade?)

Very fun game. Very short. Very easy. If only it had some achievements or something for easy points... Anyways, it could make a very nice sequel if the creator decided to do that.

Really really easy, really really short, absolutely no diversity. I did have some fun playing it, but it was pretty obvious the game was made for people that didn't really know how to type. I think a few more difficulty levels would be great (maybe at higher difficulties, the larger / more complex words don't give you that much more, and there's some time component to the words as well).
There was really no strategy to making up the army, either. Just type words really quick, strong special, type some more words, strong special, etc etc. I played around with throwing shooter in there in the early levels, but that was just for giggles. The first few strong special's I'd bring out would usually do the entire thing.
Good concept, has a lot of potential, but in it's current form I can't really rate it very high. Has no replayability, no complexity, and no difficulty (if you know how to type. I imagine people that don't use the homerow had difficulty).
Gave ya 3/5

great game but it is way too easy for people that know how to type. Would be cool if you added harder modes. And online multiplayer and badges too of course :D

Good game, but felt very short! I would have liked to see more levels- perhaps longer levels? A boss at the end would have been fun, too, as would a little more diversity in the units. The monsters are pretty great, though- I really liked their designs!

Good game!
Suggestion:
- hidden words (like "inkbattle" or "arcadetown" and nukes / count 1)
- funny (if u type a blocked word something happens)
- strong and armored isnt acumulatable, but lost the mana
- need a boss or some like

great game :)
i loved the lord of the rings addition, but it kind of sucks for canadians and british people, who are used to typing -our and stuff like that (ex: color vs. colour, armored vs. armoured)

Really nice game, I look forward to seeing another version or sequel that makes use of many of the suggestions I've seen.

I think this needs to have part 2 because it is short, and I expect a difficulty mode and more upgrades, and also, make upgrades more useful:) i give it 4/5! Great Job! we are looking forward to play part 2 and hope it is cool!

Great game, and I like your creative idea. 5/5. However, the levels seem really easy when one can beat them all using only missile. Perhaps you could let the user input words per minute and have the inkbottle deploy units based on what the player inputted?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Special is the most important thing, but missile will help speed up levels. There's no point in spamming specials, since only the lead one will attack.
The fastest wins come from strong armored special, strong shooter, missile missile missile etc.

Great start for what could become an exceptional game. Very easy, more special bad guys, weaker special good guys, and a longer marching field could be a start. Big ups!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Everything other than your special is useless. Missile is a complete waste of money. Good concept, poor execution. 2/10

great concept, and a great start! Suggestion - improve the 'enter' function to enter a word. The enter key sometimes is unresponsive, and it's a bit far away to constantly be hitting. perhaps allow a different key to be used? shift perhaps? the control could be customized, just a thought. Looking forward to v.2

by far too easy, it would nice if you could choose how hard it is, but it would also be kinda cool (if you really want it to be a typing game to make you better at typing) if you made a "tutorial level" or something that also tested how fast you type and could assign the difficulty based on that. Not sure how reasonable that is, but it would be cool.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good idea, but needs polishing. By the second level or so, I figured out to just repeatedly strong armored special, and it was way too easy. Some difficulty settings and something to add more variety, so the game doesn't just consist of choosing the same three words over and over would go a long way. Also copy/paste should be prevented.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Difficulties would be nice. If you're a decent typist this game is trivial. You just summon strong armored specials until you win, and throw in the occasional missile when you have the spare mana. I don't think any of my rounds lasted over a minute in a half, and I was never in fear of my castle even being injured, much less destroyed. And yet some may find this too hard, so difficulties are a must, and some added strategy wouldn't go amiss. 3/5 for great concept but mild execution.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Was confused until I looked at comments (no idea where unit names were). Way too easy for a fast typist like myself. Still, I played it all the way through, so 3/5

fun typing game, i do agree with kalibre2 on the different types of units, typing; strong armored special, was pretty much how i beat it, it just got really repetitive but other than that i love the concept, 5/5 looking forward to a sequel ;D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you want a challenge, try not summoning any units, just a cannon and missile :)
Pretty ok game, sort of short, story just ends. 3.5/5
