The badge of the day seems to activate when you complete the level after you receive Glenn. That's how it worked for me at least.

The class balance is certainly better than some say - I've beaten Morr with a team of Erica (leader), Josh and Ray at levels 13-14 while just playing for XP/gold (and thus wanting raw damage). It's a bit harder than with resurrects or invulnerability but most certainly doable. Great game!

Would I be crazy to request a sequel? I think this game, like a few others has a good mix of action, humor, and bullet hell elements that makes it fun and worth a sequel. Also it seems the devs did pay attention to the users so that's also a plus

Badge tip: Maximize Selena's Resurrection power so that the boss battle isn't so tedious. 20 seconds between resurrections means you just need to dodge shots for a little bit before you get your full strength back. Also, I'd suggest using Erica as team leader, since her superpower will automatically target the boss. // IF YOU BEAT LEVEL 4 AND DIDN'T GET THE BADGE: Play the next level with Glenn on your team. Win or lose, you should get the badge when you're done.

What confuses me is that Selena says those, "Things" are her pets. In the next level they don't seem to be that obedient.

I really liked this game, but I cannot give it a 5/5, because there are too many unansweared questions. For example: What is the goal of the bad guys? We never find out. Mogarrin just wants the gem to become more powerful, and speaking of, what is the gem for? Why is it cursed? Who is the king? How does the main character know about the Rhedririd Wastelands if it is impossible to escape and tell others about the place? And if the monsters in this place are Selena's pets, why can't she just command them to stop attacking?
These are just some of the questions I am left with after completing this game. It is such a shame too, because this was a really great game. I'd give it 4.5/5 if it was possible, only being pulled down by these questions because the rest of the game is pretty awesome.

Ray: "Hey guys, can I join you?" Josh: "No. you don't even have a weapon." Ray: "I do have this" *shows some kind of big gun* Josh: "OMFG! CMONCMONCMON MAN!"

I usually put something or other on Youtube while I play these kinds of flash games, but this one makes my computer lag if I have anything else going in my browser. I've played much more graphically impressive games that did not cause this issue, including many other bullet hells. This leads me to believe that this game might be poorly optimized. The title screen in particular lags out no matter what I do. It might be worth letting the loading screen last a little bit longer in order to avoid such a negative first impression.

If your game lags badly in the last levels, try refreshing or closing and restarting your browser. This fixed lag for me.

Sometimes there are sort-of huge lag spikes, which happen especially during Boss battles: that's an awful thing, I got hit twice without realizing what was happening.
I could understand that if my pc was old & slow, but neighter of those adjectives are correct...

Great game. The only criticism I have is the sudden, VERY steep increase in difficulty to the point where it almost becomes grind-heavy

Played it a month ago - coming back for the badge of the day - remember the game as great from first glance at picture before it loaded. Sign of a great 5/5

Just the right length: enough content to fully satisfy without becoming repetitive or too much grinding. Very fleshed out in terms of character design and powers, no one is overly powerful or weak and you can play to your strengths however you want. The graphics are kind of whimsical and charming, I'm surprised there isn't more lag since it looks so great. This game will always hold a special place for me since it was this badge that gave me the final points needed to reach Kong's level 65 cap :)
I'd love to see a sequel.

Anyone else feel over encumbered carrying these 10,000 Shurikens on this power walking expedition? Nice take on a top down scrolling shooter. Enjoyed playing!

Crazy addictive gameplay but my word if the dialogue isn't some of the worst I've ever read. I've never skipped cutscenes out of horror at writing before (I'm so very glad that skip button exists). Otherwise really fun game!
