Very interesting game idea, and I think that you should definitely make a sequel, or just keep adding on to this. It has a lot of potential. I only wish that this game was compatible with my electronic keyboard... But then again, that keyboard refuses to interact with my computer anyway, so I don't think it makes much of a difference.

It's an interesting concept, but it would be nice to be able to have a USB compatible keyboard function to actually play it like a real piano or focus on turning it into a rhythm game where typing words and sentences with matched timing to create a song.

Bad keyboarding. Bad bad bad. Here's a suggestion: Don't make the piano controls larger than the keyboard itself. Not only that, but it's not even laptop friendly.

To be completely honest I played exclusively in the free-play section. The sound quality is good, though after messing with the chords some of the sound ranges are a little wonky and some refuse to even play, like keyboard combo B A F. Some seem to be from a different recording set when you start hitting the numbered (1-9) keys. Not much you can do about the key scheme, given the number of keys - shift to play the half steps is downright awkward though.

Great game, but I'd quite like a function which lets me choose the shape of the incoming notes, for example triangles or some other angled shape instead of just hearts. I'll check now in case there's such an option that I haven't noticed. Regardless, I give this a 5/5.

I really don't feel like this works very well. It's a brilliant Idea, I've been wishing I could play piano on the keyboard, but I don't think the way it's done here works very well. The keys aren't physically next to each other on a qwerty keyboard, so a lot of the flow that can happen on the piano doesn't work.

At first I was thinking how hard it looked from watching the menu, but after I played the skill progression and game overall was done really well. nice job 5/5

Played Beethoven's Fur Elise and after I mastered it on this I went play in on my piano where I already know how to play it and have the sheats layed out. It took me at least 6 tries to get it right because of this damn simulater XD

It's a lot easier to play a real piano. Either that, or it's the 13 or so years I've been playing piano making it seem easier...

I would love to see a "Set Speed" bar that way you can practice the songs at your own pace. For me it's hard to read the notes, being new at the game and it's different when you play one hand compared to both hands, so being able to play at a pace I'm comfortable with then going back to tweak it slightly until it's the proper speed would be awesome.

PLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE make an actual tempo option... playing pachelbells is so annoying going that slow. i want to press the keys at real tempo and i end up slowing down and speeding up and its annoying.

the keys are attrocious. even easy songs like flight of the bumblebee become hellishly tedious to play... shift for accidentals is absolutely killing me.

Worst rendition of a Chopin nocturne EVER. Bad for learning piano. Bad for appreciating music. Not too bad as a coordination game, however.

a timer would be nice too, then it would be possible to play without looking the screen... if player knows the song by heart

This is my favorite game on Kongregate, well favorite piano emulator. Its slow yes, but most beautiful sounding piano music contains slow nice parts to them. Great for a beginner slightly because its keyboard but I would recommend using it for understanding music. Take it from a person who plays the piano well, you can learn from this game.

The difficulty doesn't really match up with how well the song ends up sounding. I found that I can mangle a song and still pass it. Other than that, really neat game!
