It's a good game, but I kind of wonder if it is rigged in a way to prevent an unplayable roll. I'll be rolling and distributing dice well and then get a "very unlucky" roll like 1-1-2-2-1 that forces me to open up another line.

pressing the ? as suggested helps.. I was able to understand it right away... although my initial strategy may not have been ideal... only +66.. will report back on try 2

Oddly addictive. Can't quite figure out why I keep hitting play. I agree that a tutorial would help, but overall it's a great little game.

This is a lot of fun once you figure it out. A tutorial could help. I think the hang-up occurs when players start out with negative points to start the game, which is a tad unnerving. Still really solid effort here!

Overall I liked it, but it needs more detailed instructions. I only understood what the game was about after playing it once, and that can probably keep some less-persistent players away from your game.

Amusing game.
I got my best score on my 2nd attempt at the game, barely knew how to play.. beginner's luck I suppose.

This was a great game back when I had it on my PDA years ago with better graphics. Fairly good flash version of it, though.

Very addicting! It's nice to play something that I haven't seen a strategy for yet and that I'll keep coming back to play!

A very neat dice game that's very simple, with a subtle yet effective strategy. Kinda like Backgammon. I'd love to see some expansion of this --perhaps into some sort of multiplayer game.

5/5 + favorited. Fun dice puzzle game. Curious if this is an original idea, or adapted from something. Best score yet was a 485.

Yes! Score 464 =)))
Discards were (8x)1 (6x)2 (7x)3 (6x)5 hehe. A have a hunch 1235 or 2456 gives the best average result...

Okay, the high scores are enabled now. Looks like Kongregate's high score server properly takes negative scores, so congrats to them for that :)

Clever, tough, and well-designed! I've never heard of this particular dice game, but it's a good one that requires a lot of thought and strategy. Great job! 4/5. Needs an actual menu up front with more detailed instructions, examples, and tips as an option on that menu. The game has quite a learning curve and you have to compensate for that as the developer.

Not bad. It would be nice if it tracked your high score. I also feel like the game is pretty hard - I have only gotten above 300 a few times. It is also a bit confusing when the stack is too tall. I think that when the stack is just below the "discard line" you should still be able to play...so that the stack is kind of like a "meter" and when you overfill the meter (eg, try to stack a die that would overlap the "discard line") then the game ends. But it is enjoyable and addicting. The sound is nice too; not distracting but still adds to the experience.

Okay, here's a new daily puzzle from The Code Zone. It's been converted to a sharable format, so there's no login and you're free to press restart at the end. Hope you enjoy!

Contrary to several opinions, I don't think this game needs a restart button. If you make a slip-up or something, you either still try to make the most of what's there, or you just go berserk and try to finish the game as quickly as possible. Who knows, you might still get a good score.
