sorry to keep posting, but I have to comment how people are saying the screen is too crowded, well, duh it's supposed to be difficult. I think the best weapon in the game comes 80-85 power. It is a force field shot that I think goes through enemies. my ending was 85 power, 35 engine, and 90 shield. A nice balnce between a fast paced game, a strategy game, and a shooter. (strategy because you need to order your power- ups in a good way.

oh and people who say the speed upgrade does nothing, yes it does, I was going faster than every enemy by my 30th upgrrade point in it

Jestertrek has no idea what he's talking about. I can see the little origanality part but only a little of it. I agree with the music. Has good replay value (hard mode) I found a couple levels quite difficult and there is no trick needed in level 21 if you just dodge the big thing and shoot at it. What trick? I beat level 21 on my second try ( because I didn't realize how much I had to move away from it, it's bigger than you may think). anyways, 5/5, don't listen to the haters.

It's really hard for me! The shaking is really annoying, the the music is gay! You could have atleast added a mute button! Overall, I don't think it's really bad, but I don't think it's good. 3/5.

+1 for a very small amount of originality, and the good music. But 2/5 overall because the rest of the game isn't original at all (moving center shooter? another? why?), has zero replay value, and is far too easy for levels 1 through 20 and far too hard in level 21. In fact, level 21 is essentially impossible unless you know the trick. All of that makes this a poor game.

ok scre* this,im on lvl 16 and i have a lvl 70 weapon,its a 3 shot,i have a lvl 56 sheild,i die in about 3-5 hots and i have like a lvl 20 engine,WAY to slow,now its to hard,

just flying in one direction with two keys (example: up and left) and shooting what's behind. works even with the boss... =D
it's nice, that u can beat the game in many different ways!

It's a shame people are rating this down just because they haven't figured out how to play it well yet =/ My only complaint is that the "hard" badge isn't very hard. It should at least be for completing hard mode.

This is probably the fastest paced shooter on Kongregate, let alone space shooters. Good job with this one!

1/5 this game blows major chunks. the speed upgrade is worthelss, no matter how much you put into it you can never out run the enemies or their fire. all the enemies are kamakazi while they shoot so its total bs. no strategy - just sucks!

Weapon to triple fire, shields up - run in a single direction until you slump onto keyboard. Pretty though.
Admittedly didn't really get into the spirit of the game with that strategy

Tip: constantly move in one direction and never buy engines. I was holding W and D for almost the entire game except to pick up ether. I would occasionally move to dodge an enemy that was sticking right on me (like the little blue ones that shoot white bombs), and for the final boss I just hung out in the middle and got out of the way when it was headed straight for me. With this strategy I found the game very easy. The only hard part was the first level with red enemies in hard mode, and it would have been much easier if I had remembered to spend a few points on shields before then.

this game sucks, all the enemies spawn around you. its nearly impossible not to get hit by 1 at the beggining of a wave

Some hours ago, when the badges didn't exist, the game was rated 4.08. It's sad that games that haven't got the name 'Desktop Tower Defense 1.5' on it, are low rated. I'll rate this 5/5, whether it deserves it or not.

Just beat, it nice game 5/5. At the end just set in the middle and which ever oppisite way the big boss is going u go the oppisite way it takes liek 10 minutes to beat him but u will.

i dont like the aming system its very difficult when you have 15 red ectoplasm balls flying after you and your shots are flying all around. 2/5 good idea and great music and graphics this game is just not for me

How in the world do you play this game? Each enemy requires almost 10 hits to destroy and the physics of the shots don't seem correct at all? I play these games all the time, but can't even break 100 on this one?

This game is intense, the music fits perfectly and... Eureka! It has an ending! If all flash games had an ending we'd live in a better world! xDDDDDDDD
