This really is not my type of game were the only reason you stay is basically to get more stuff and become the strongest or is why I would stay. But I have to have at least an attempt at some kind of story or no mater what it says on the screen you are just doing the same thing over and over. I do like all the different items they are neat to see and I like the gifting system. Also nice that you can easily earn favor points. I saved mine and bought the starter pack and have some of the best stuff for like the next 100 lvls before I hit the badge. But I will not be playing this anymore. keep up the good work.

I like the game, but it sucks how I accidentally attacked a person who used real money to buy incredibly cheap stuff like some kind of jet so now they keep attacking me and killing me. :(

How is damage calculated for bosses? I used all my favor points to buy a discounted Glovebox Protector, which has an attack value of 723, but I'm only doing 99 damage to the boss each time?

Just to say many thanks to the Developer, for taking the time to both read, and especially to respond, to the comments made about Mob Wars.
Also, my apologies for not realising that Mob Wars preceded Mafia Wars!
This type of game may not be suited to everyone, but it's nice to see something like this, that's a more unusual game type for Kongregate.
Many thanks for your responses! :)

Well, I think this game screen could use some re-sizing in my own opinion as well. Shouldn't ave to scroll down to see the other half of the game screen. But other then that, not a bad game for passing time at all.

there needs to be something where you can control if people get in your boss or not.... my boss was sent out from somebody besides myself and a bunch of people joined +1 so they can see.
You can always set the Helper Damage slider on Boss pages to a lower threshold to prevent anyone else from killing your boss. I'll pass along your feedback though. Thanks!

I wish we could see progress bars in the achievements sections that tells us in more detail how much we need for the next medal. You know like "x/500 jobs assisted" or whatever each one has. It probably doesn't matter that much, but I think it would be nice to have.

Also, I respect that you're doing your best, cause I've never seen so much developer responses in my life. Some people are bound to forget that...

Developer response from kanoapps
"...In a text/graphic setting it offers deep mechanics, rich content and social gameplay."
Wow.
I wouldn't be so conceited with this crappy clusterf*ck of an excuse for a game.

Thank you for the reply. I know those limited sale items were selling like hotcakes, and I know it makes sense to increase supply where there is demand, but what's the point of making something limited if it will never run out anyway? It's like branding a mass-production version as a limited edition to increase sales, that's just greedy and superficial marketing. You could've at least replace it with something else when it is sold out. And no, I'm neither buying nor wanting those. Burned my favor points on the limited-time offers ^q^

it would be nice if lvling up added the energy and stam overflowing what we already have. no one wants to lose almost a full tank.

why is there only a high level arena, it would be appreciated by more players than just me if there was like a level 35-75 or a level 50-100 stuff like that instead of just one with 550 and up.
550 isn't exactly "high" in the grand scheme of the game but I certainly take your meaning. It's something we're considering looking into, so thanks for the suggestion! :)

Anyone else choose who they're going to attack based solely on the stupid random names? Like I'll go after a "knifey spoony" before someone with a cooler name.

Like others, I tried this game only for the badges but I found I kind of really like it. I just wish it was a little more polished. Like hovering over a name gave a little box of info(lvl, whether a mob, maybe a send a gift button) but also the existed implemented hover over features, such as over an item, seem a bit delayed so that you think it's not going to come and then move your mouse away when it comes at the last second. Also, I find it a bit difficult to see the atk/def of an item. When I get a drop and I forget what stats the item has it's kind of a pain to check. You have to go way out of your way. Just put a quick hoverable display with that instead of just the name.

Sorry Kanoapps, I forgot to mention that they are attacking me AND punching me AND hitlisting. But the attacking is the worst problem because I can't ambush them even though I have enough money, energy and stamina. No fair.
If they've attacked you in the last 24 hours then you should be able to set an Ambush on them. Or, if they're a lower level than you and you retaliate and kill them, they'll disappear off your Rivals list. If you think something else is going on, please write into Support (support.kanoapps.com) and we'll take a look at your account!

Have you ever thought about raising the gift limit? Not that I use all of my 100 if I am being lazy and only regift or gift along if it's an option
This gets brought up from time to time both internally and on our forums (forums.kanoapps.com) and the general consensus is that 100 is about the right number for daily gifts. We appreciate the feedback, however! :)
Mob Wars: La Cosa Nostra was actually one of the first games of these types. With four years of content and development behind it, you can't go wrong! :)

Kano if ya'll read this. The new chat window, At least I think its new I don't remember having this problem before, is causing a severe problem where half of any popup window, like the send gift back or assisted a person with a job, to be half way offscreen. Requiring users to scroll to bottom of whole window to reach a scroll bar to move the whole screen right and then scroll back UP to close said pop up windows. Please fix asap if possible.
Sorry about that! We pushed the chat box out last night by accident before it was ready, so it lacked some critical functionality. We've since pulled it down.

Anyone know of a way to close the ingame chatbox thing? It doesn't seem to be in use and keeps off centering everything so I have to scroll around a lot, which is annoying.

Can you add a limit to ambushes? i really think that being able to ambush someone 100 times in a row is f**king bullshit
We're sorry to hear you're not a fan of ambushes, although you'll be pleased to know that the number of ambushes players can set on another decreases as you level up. Therefore, the higher up you get, the less ambushes players in your battle range will be able to set on you.

A scroll button would be nice so the game wouldnt have to load the screen that is missing to fit the screen or a full screen button.

You know what the daily rewards should also drop fp ore we may need stamina and energy at the same time something big i dont know just to increase player pool since the game will many more daily players
Hi Queens, great suggestion, we've actually contacted Kongregate about additional tags allowed in the system. After a look on the front page, the most played games on Kongregate offer the same style of micro transactions as we do too!

A giant thing I give you kudos for: Being an owner of the original Mob Wars, you had to complete certain levels to get FPs and crates were 10-20 FPs a pop with usually no other way to earn any. There wasn't even minigames; just leveling. I like how there's games here and free FPs every time you level. Thanks! :)

Game is good till you get to level 55~60... then is a wait to play game, not so different from other wait games playable on facebook...
Below level 300, you can only be Hislisted by people who are 10% above and below your level, or if you got yourself onto someone else's Rivals list. Once you're Hitlisted, you're fair game, although there are a few systems to prevent lower levels from being unfairly listed. Try not to retaliate and within 24 hours you'll be off the higher level's Rivals.

Things that are wrong with this : 1) The screen is so piss-ass annoying when it takes 10 seconds to get to the bottom. I don't need half the shit on the screen! Why can't I shorten it? It's simple convenience! 2) It's way too advanced. Random buttons, overcomplicated shop, too many confusing areas, and rows and rows of buttons. I don't understand it. 3) The Gameplay is EXTREMELY boring. You choose a job, then click "Do Job Again" a few billion times and you're done. I want more to do, but I don't want to explore through a mess of buttons just to play, either! 4) What's up with the battles? You press "Attack" then wait another 3 hours just to attack again. And I see no progression in the battle, or a health bar, at that. 5) Why does this game have badges? There are way better games than this absolute shit, but they don't get badges. You know it's a bad game when half of the users don't actually WANT to earn the badges. 1/5
