Not to be rude on this as i LOVE the games message but..
It's very week on the game front.
I just kinda wish that you put more content inside it.
But still i know what you were going for. the game is mrore of a way of delivering your opinions on gay/straight marage, and that is fine. But... i wish you worked a bit mroer on the game side of it
Anyway, i still give it a 5/5 for message
Thanks for the comment! The game is totally meant as a vehicle to deliver the message, and the message is meant to be really light and accessible by everyone. As such yeah, there's not a lot of levels or content in there. Eventually I want to release a mobile version with more stuff in it. Anyway, thanks for playing+commenting+rating! :)

To get the badge after beating the game, I had to go to "Level Select" and beat the 8th level again. It just takes a second so its pretty easy.
By the way I get the feeling that this game is trying to make some sorta statement about gay marriage. But I can't tell if its for it or against it. Oh well, I guess its ok either way.

i was :/ at first cuz i thought that was gonna be just another of those hetero mirror games but then it got gay and suddenly became one of my fave games.. its nice to have even little representation like this esp since ive gotten so tired of the heteronormativity in games like these

The very fact that this game is starred near valentines and also with a rainbow kongpanion (where the first 4 are about assorted types of love, indirectly or otherwise) and so this shows that the people on Kong have a good understanding of how diverse their fanbase and how awesome everyone can be, regardless of...well...anything. Your games are a testament to this.
Have a nice day everyone :)

GAMEPLAY://9/10
The hearts move smoothly and in sync as you move 'em around. A few puzzles were annoying, but I beat 'em, so great job!
SOUND_DESIGN://10/10
I really love the single track in the game. It's a nice chiptune with some orchestral elements, and it's pretty darn relaxin'!
GRAPHIC_DESIGN://9.5/10
Pretty simplistic. Not exactly like I should expect it to be freaking solar-flare-ass-Nintendo Land, but it's still okay, as I only should care about the games themselves. [Vvvvvv was astonishing with low-rez, anyways]
Your move, MW3fags.
OVERALL://28.5/30
This game is what we SHOULD see from games, fun gameplay, graphics are whatever they want to look like, and great soundtracks, not glitchy-ass MW3/GoW3 gritty wartime brownamaganzas.
RANKING: Chinese Chicken (don't ask)

Thank you for this game. And thank you Kong, for giving a challenge to it.
I'm particularly enjoying all the salty, salty bigot-tears.

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful games I've played for a long time. Not overly long, but when you have such a beautiful message, there's no reason for it to be.

This game restored my faith in humanity, The amount of people that play this proves that people dont judge between who loves who, as long as there is love it is fine.

I realized that the easiest way to get one person in the Love-Repository is not to think about that person, but to think about the others. I'm not sure whether or not you purposely did that or not, but I thought it was nice.

People should not be discriminated upon because of what gender they love. That is a flaw in our society. This game portrays that message and i like it. 5/5 just because of concept

"So, what are you two doing for valentine's day?"
" Oh, we're probably going to go to two separate, massive, heart-shaped rooms, run repeatedly into walls, and then jump down a hole. You?"
But seriously, apart from level seven (which was absurdly hard), I would like to concur with the comments that this is a very nice game, both in the sense it is fun and that it seems very nice and friendly and conscientious of modern issues.
Haha, when you look at it in a literal context the game is pretty weird huh ;) And yeah, L7 is definitely a tough one - I'm happy to see that you conquered it and got the badge + award! Thanks for playing and commenting

Sir & Sir and Madam & Madam and Sir & Madam is such a beautiful way of phrasing it. I also love how you didn't make it just about gay or just about lesbian or just about straight. There's so much politics these days that attempt to place one of them above the others and they miss the entire point. This shows a better balance which is sorely needed in the world. More people centric and the common ground people have to work within. =)

This is a game is remarkable in that it delivers such a complex message in such a short simple and unusual format. The symbolic pixel art helped distance the player from the real-life visual 'ick factor' that usually colors people's prior perceptions of LGBT relationships. I found myself rooting for the game because of what it was trying to do despite the overly-familiar game-play. Perhaps that's a greater level of success.
Haha, oh man I'm stoked to hear that :) Yeah, a lot of people get uncomfortable when they think of two men together or two women. I went for as much symbolism as possible, to make it clear but distance people from any preconceived bias they have. That's why it's Sir and Sir and not Man and Man, why it's just blue and pink hearts, etc. Thanks :)

A great puzzle game with a great message. This game could not get enough attention if it was on the main page for every valentines day.

When I first started playing the game, I planned on leaving a nasty comment in regards to the fact that this game that was supposed to represent all love only included a male and a female couple. But then I played the game, and want to thank you for doing a great job at truly encapsulating love in all its forms.

Five stars just for the message sent by this very game. I can only hope that people can learn to accept the message this game is sending out. Very wonderfully thought out. Happy Valentine Day, Kongregate.
Dude read through the comments - with a miniscule number of exceptions, everybody's really positive to the games message. Fills my heart with all the feels. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, happy v-day to you too (and definitely to Kong for awesomely featuring my game!) :)

I love how the obstacles in real life are represented in this game. And the last level is honestly sooo beautiful :')

i loved this, thank you so much kongredate :D i love games but the community is so homophobic (and other things) so i rarely feel welcomed. thank you for this!

For everyone not getting the badge, click on "Level Select" after beating all eight levels. You'll get the badge after doing it.

Thank you for this game. To be honest, the support for LGBT rights surprised me, but in a good way. It's nice to see something like this receive so many positive reviews.

This game makes me incredibly happy. I have never quite understood how so many people can be against loving who you want to love. Sure, some have their religious reasons. But if you just plain don't like it... keep your mouth shut. As I read somewhere else in the comments, most people are more against gay men than lesbians. It was a simple game, but it kept my brain going, and it was a very inspirational message. <3

As a game, I feel this is kind of lacking. I realize the idea was to explain your feelings toward the topic (which is totally fine) but the lack of challenge in the last few levels cause me to lose interest. As far as the slightly controversial topic, I prefer to think love is like soda. Some people like only one flavor, some prefer diet and caffeine free brands, some people like flavors that seem disturbing to others (specially Moxie), and then there are people who don't like any flavor or unwilling to indulge in it.

@luqui01 - Please, don't attempt to ascribe some underlying, insidious, negative aspect to the message of this game. The message is that Love, regardless of gender, should be accepted by those who love differently than you.
It makes no comparisons between how you love, and how other's love.
It makes no attempt to establish a hierarchy regarding different types of love.
It simply attempts to convey that love of any kind is great thing, and should be accepted as such.

Very nice. I love that you included both WASD and mouse controls. This was a great thing for Valentines. Enjoyable, not too difficult. 5/5 for what it is.

My favorite moment was when I had no idea what to do on the second to last level, flailed about madly, and what do you know, everything worked out in the end.

At first I rated it 4, then I thought about for a split second more and rated it 5. Simple game, but an amazing message that I wish others would listen to! Very well done!
