Thank you for this game. To be honest, the support for LGBT rights surprised me, but in a good way. It's nice to see something like this receive so many positive reviews.

This game makes me incredibly happy. I have never quite understood how so many people can be against loving who you want to love. Sure, some have their religious reasons. But if you just plain don't like it... keep your mouth shut. As I read somewhere else in the comments, most people are more against gay men than lesbians. It was a simple game, but it kept my brain going, and it was a very inspirational message. <3

As a game, I feel this is kind of lacking. I realize the idea was to explain your feelings toward the topic (which is totally fine) but the lack of challenge in the last few levels cause me to lose interest. As far as the slightly controversial topic, I prefer to think love is like soda. Some people like only one flavor, some prefer diet and caffeine free brands, some people like flavors that seem disturbing to others (specially Moxie), and then there are people who don't like any flavor or unwilling to indulge in it.

@luqui01 - Please, don't attempt to ascribe some underlying, insidious, negative aspect to the message of this game. The message is that Love, regardless of gender, should be accepted by those who love differently than you.
It makes no comparisons between how you love, and how other's love.
It makes no attempt to establish a hierarchy regarding different types of love.
It simply attempts to convey that love of any kind is great thing, and should be accepted as such.

Very nice. I love that you included both WASD and mouse controls. This was a great thing for Valentines. Enjoyable, not too difficult. 5/5 for what it is.

My favorite moment was when I had no idea what to do on the second to last level, flailed about madly, and what do you know, everything worked out in the end.

At first I rated it 4, then I thought about for a split second more and rated it 5. Simple game, but an amazing message that I wish others would listen to! Very well done!

I love how everyone is shouting "FLAG IT! FLAG IT! FLAG IT!" but kong puts it on its front page...
Anyway... I beleve in a certant moral code... if some enjoys something that is wildly diffrent then "The normal way we do things", well... great. you have the right to do what you love, and I respect you for embraceing what you enjoy despite how hard it may be. good for you!
Now... to put things simpley... what does it say about you as a human being if you try to take away something that someone enjoys simply because you don't agree? Think about that for a moment.
Haha, Kong is awesome :) Actually the vast majority of people seem really supportive of the game, I'm stoked with how well the community received the game. Thanks for playing+commenting!

I was really disappointed that this game trivialized the substantial variety of reasons that people disagree with non-hetero and couple-only relationships. Whether you agree or disagree with them I've found that the best way to truly influence someone is to be able to restate their arguments in ways that they find complimentary before you work to dismantle stereotypes, misinformation, etc. Reducing opposition to non-traditional relationships to simply being focused on gender/sex isn't going to actually open a truly Socratic dialogue because you're stating in your premise that there aren't any other reasons to disagree and that it's silly for someone to think otherwise. As someone who frequently has conversations with folks on both sides of the issue it's not something I would ever share to stimulate debate because of its likelihood to insult those who disagree with its message. I wish it had approached the contraperspective more fairly.
Thanks for the response! I contend with "there's only so much exposition you can fit into eight levels of a Flash game", but you do make a solid point - the viewpoints behind both supporting and opposing non-traditional relationships go faaaaaar deeper than what was approached in this game. This was meant to be, more than anything, basically just a bulletin promoting love and tolerance in a very simplified, basic, universal form. I hope you can appreciate it insofar as that goes, but if you don't agree with the message it ultimately puts out that's totally cool too. Thanks anyhow for playing and especially for commenting, and congratulations on the badge and award ^_^

Everyone I know is 100% tolerant to all forms of love and people. Once I found someone on the internet, who was mobbed for being lesbian. I could not believe that this was possible for I didn't know such behaviour.
I don't know why, but sometimes it's maybe better to just STOP talking about acceptance "problems".
We never talk about tolerance of homosexuality. Because for us it is just normal.
Start doing the same.

Great game, fantastic music! I think I'll play it in the background for a while. *Reads comments* I can download the music? WHO IS THIS PERSON AND HOW CAN I SEND HIM A GIANT BOX ON FLUFFY PANCAKES???
Hahaha, I take it you noticed how often I post regarding pancakes. They're just so awesome :D That's why I made this awhile back: http://imgur.com/xzIKH
Anyway thanks for playing! If you want you can download the music too, www.bit.ly/belovedmusic

I had no idea how I was doing most of these. Came as a surprise to actually finish two of them (the second-last one and madam madam one) in a reasonable span of time. XD

So, reading comments ive learned gayness is a weakness. Well how about your intelligence and minimal contribution to society as a whole? That is a strength? Being about as intelligent as my left nut and hating anyone who doesnt share your beliefs is quite contrary, for in acceptance there is true strength, the strength to acknowledge that you are different and will be ostracized for it.

Nice game, good timing and great little challenges. I however found the message part a bit pushed and syrupy. No prob, I just kept focusing on the puzzle.

This game should have been longer! There should be a next game where there are more couples gay, or straight that try to get to each other, but they have a longer story. Like in "The Company of Myself"! I love the message with gay rights! I didn't see that coming! :) Happy Valentines Day to all the straight, gay, and lesbian people! <3
Thanks so much! Eventually I want to release a mobile version that'll have more content in it. Very happy you enjoyed the game and message, thanks for commenting and a happy v-day to you too!

Wow. What an awesome concept and thought for a game. I honestly was just in a 'meh' mood when I came on here and wanted to veg out and play mindless games. But this game brightened my day - short and sweet. As a gay dude who considers himself no different than any other dude out there - awesome job!

Every once in a while, comes a great game with a great game developer and a great story behind the game... this is it.

To all the anti gay people, first off, I too am against same sex couples, HOWEVER, people have the right to do what they want; and you don't have to agree with a game's message to play, and enjoy it. I'm sure we all have played a first person shooter before, does that mean we want to go around shooting people/stick figures/aliens/zombies/police, no.
I think I love you. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY hope you reconsider your stance on same-sex couples, but damn if you don't have the best attitude regarding it. Thank you so much for your comment, for realsies :)

it is so amusing how every anti gay comment has a -50 rating and every other comment has a plus rating.
Go kong users for equal rights if this was a poll then there should be no debate of the circumstances outlined in this game for what side of the argument that the community support

First level: Welp, this is going to be terribly heteronormative. Still, as long as it's a decent puzzle game ...
Third level: Oh, right. :)

Wow normally I don't comment, but damn so much hate for a game about love...sad. First reaction was must be trolling, but I'm not sure...On the upside lots more open minded and sensible people, much love to the Dev nice game ^^
Read the comments! For any negative feelings that might be found, there's a much bigger tide of positive comments and feedback :) The Kong community seems very positive in its vocal response to this game, it's really made my day ^_^ Thanks, glad you enjoyed the game, I really appreciate the comment <3

Great work, and props to Kong for promoting this game. Here's to hoping love triumphs over hate and ignorance (as well as greed on the global scale) in this generation.

Glad you got picked for the Valentine's Day Feature! Great mini puzzle game with a great message of Love. Please, remember all the positivity and great vibes when all the haters rear their ugly heads. Haters should remember that their loyalty should lie with HUMANITY instead of "groups that kinda alike" in matters that are universal to our species
Totally! Well said. Overall though, in these comments it seems the lovers vastly outnumber the haters, I'm really pleased with the community's reception to this game :) Thanks for playing and commenting!

I really enjoyed this game, it was simple but it changed my views on non-heterosexual relationships. Also thanks for the smile, this game brightened my day!
Woah, if I've actually managed to -change- your view on gay relationships (hopefully for the better ;) ), that's amazing! Thanks SO much for playing and commenting :D
