I played the third one first and then decided that it was so good I wanted to play the first two. The series has come a long way. Could you keep making games in this universe...please?

This classic game is super awesome! Best classic game on Kongregate also because of the characters and music from the video games and some anime being featured in it!

Man just going through all the games is so fun. From a game with a memory leak, and the characters are nameless in 1 stance to a rpg with bunches of characters with loads and loads of skills.

i have figured out undead goku's weak spot it's the duskull floating above him cause if you look closely duskull is is using some kind of threads to control goku they appear and then dissappear etc. so and YUCK! goku looks digusting as undead!!

YES!! I made it!! And, wow... That ending was just... Wow... But why was the Duskull with Zombie Goku? It didn't even do anything! Unless it was supposed to, and it just didn't when I played.

Could've done with more weapons for both sides, and, as other people have said, a save feature would've been nice. Definitely 4/5 and, if I could, 9/10. Loved the little Easter-egg style boob bounce.

Any old time Final Fantasy 1 gamers recognize the music at the beginning start menu? It's the music in the Dwarf settlement Duergar, as well as the Dragon Caves. There are also a couple Final Fantasy 9 pieces: at the 1st stage is the standard FF9 battle music, the 4th stage fighting sea creatures, starting with shelled crabs, is Beatrix's theme (the upbeat one that plays during the Battle of Alexandria), the final stage fighting undead, is from the 2nd final boss, Necron, the first part of the music for the normal enemies then the rest of it for the boss, Goku. I hope they either got permission to use these music scores, didn't have to pay for them or that whatever patents expired, given that they're the very pieces from the game itself; you know how copyright can be.

I'm confused... You start out at 9999 health and 999 mp. Where do you go from there? Is that it? Do you just fight til you die?

Regirock: OK, let's beat these guys.
Regice: Yes. I have one question though. Where is our brother?
*Summon Registeel*
Regirock: Hey! You made it. Let's take these guys down now-
*Registeel attacks*
Love doing this.

wow. The first of 4 games and it is still rated a 4 and all the other games are rated even higher. This is probably the most popular series of games on kong and quite rightly so. My thank to the dev and his/her team.

This is a great game. To me, this is a game that we really needed to have for a long time: a turn-based RPG with no narrative. Who are we? Where are we? Who are we fighting and why? Do we have some ulterior motive? Are we the bad guys? Questions like this don't even enter the player's head. They aren't important, much like in Pac Man or Mario. This is an RPG without any of the story that RPG's are so well known for, and I love it for that. I love good turn-based combat, and stripping away the narrative to focus on that combat really helped to make it that much better. As the later games proved, story needn't get in the way, but this was a great step in the right direction. I haven't seen turn-based combat this good in any other series yet.

also, zombie goku first appeared in one of kupo's old animations, "FF Battle", where he died. (along with everyone else)
