Maybe I'm missing something, but the only "Big Blue the Meanie" I can see is the amnesiac psychopath walking around talking to statues and slaughtering everything he sees.

Last boss is immune to magic damage. Would have been nice knowing that before I built my champion as a mage. So lame to let us customize our character only to have certain customizations be worthless. 1/5

TIP: at the beginning, get all poison skills for miasma and only uprade intel. use miasma on big full maps with lots of creeps to lvl up. then get all thunder skills. with 1st thunder skill u can do 400dmg on bosses if u do a lot of intel increase. doing this allows u to finish the gmae easy. at the beginning just be sure to let your pet do the tanking. hope this helps! also for craft guide go on http://guidology.com/2011/05/03/castaway-2-crafting-guide/. vote + so everybody sees!!!

This is one game that I really truly enjoy, the only two issues that arise for me are; the crafting system needs a bit of improvement, some of the combinations are obscure, I can understand though as the creators mind and the players mind are never one in the same.. Also on a side note for future games, I think it'd be awesome if you could add the whole 'Secret super weapon' (Perhaps the 'stick' you find at the begining of the game is the only stick in the game, and only through holding onto the stick and upgrading it could you obtain a super weapon :])
The second issue I have is the pet system, it would be really nice if your pet could gain skills as they level up, maybe just aura's that compliment your skills and are pet specific.. I would also like it if they somehow grew/evolved, I don't really think it's fair that by gaining a 'baby' form of a monster early in the game and leveling it up is only plausible until you find the adult form or a greater monster..

*walking around normally* *picks up a feather* OH NO! You're carrying too much to move! -.- apart from that, great game 5/5

Next time increase the frequency of the gem stones appearing, it's so hard to get one saphire shard let alone 6 to craft a saphire

There should be a "Save and Quit to Title" button and directions for the "Main quest" because it is EXTREMELY annoying to run around the island trying to find out where the Keys go. Click the "+" if you agree.

:| I can't complete one of the crafting quests cause I made the item already. Crafting quests should auto-award if you've already gotten them in your crafting book.

Nice game, but extremely buggy. I've had about 6 bugs while playing to level 10, wherein the game freezes after crafting an item, or the character freezes after a fight, or there are words floating in midair from a previous menu.

Loved the game so i thought i would through some ideas out there if their is castaway 3:
1. Maybe offer weight system as you level up rather than requiring to put points in to strength to increase it
2. Possibly give more points to spend per level instead of 3 so it makes it easier to be a mage rather than forced to be a warrior.
3. Bank/Storage system or possibly the ability to make bags to carry more via the crafting feature.
4. Last but not least maybe some sort of a bow class, aka hunter, ranger etc.

Quick way to get money ppl, when you obtain Plates (3 shells with 3 shells or by drop from some enemies) and u have 80 coins, buy a piece of leather armor at the armory in Astreas Bastion. Combine the plate and armor to make Plate Armor, then sell the new armor piece for a 70 coin profit. + so others can see this when they're stuck on getting money

The tip about morning star being the best is wrong. Also, you can only get it VERY late game. the stats on it are 28 0 0 3, the BEST weapon is the razor blade (28 3 0 0), you get this with a woodern sword (buy it in town) and 5 iron globes (3xiron ingot + Alkahest). 28 attack 3 defense for the razor or 28 attack 3 magic for the morning star (which you can get just before the 2nd last boss)

im getting tired of pressing spacebar everytime theres a boss. there should be an auto attack also shortcut keys so u dont have 2 click the bag while fighting. + this if u agree and so the developer can see this.

It's pity that you only get a 4/5 from me for it's a nice game and I see you put in a lot of effort. Here's my Issue: 1) Weight. I'd never play a mage - exactly because of that. 2) Crafting. It's a nice idea. But what makes it frustrating is the fact that crafting ONE THING takes FOREVER. That does NOT make me want to try out a lot of stuff. Also Quickclicks in the recipie book would do fine. 3) Quests. This is not World of Warcraft. You don't have a chat or a guild where you can spend your time while doing "kill 500 poison bugs" Quests. Lower some of these numbers. 4) The map is useless. You more or less have to memorize everything yourself. Not that I can't do it but I don't want to do that effort in a game. Other than that ... a fuggit I'll still 5/5 it because it's one of the Games with a lot of content.

i like this game, but there's a glaring flaw with magic...why do most initial spells shoot the direction youre facing rather than hitting the selected enemy? its so frustrating to try to shoot a monster with a fireball and have him take the minutest step in one direction or another and you miss...it makes magic almost completely useless

There needs to be an Item Storage, particularly if the item 'weight' is going to be in the next game, otherwise you need to keep upping strength above everything else. This wouldn't be so bad except that stat increases from equipment don't affect how much you can carry.

The bad parts part 2: Artificial difficulty is very high (those eye variety monsters are a huge pain to deal with only because it's hard to make sure you're targeting them correctly, and then those stunlock ice snakes are pretty annoying too). The ice levels are some bad Pokemon wannabe stages. If you leave a quest for later and proceed to a different area, you won't be able to pick up its follow-up quest from the new sigil, making travel back and forth necessary if you want to finish all quests (tip: don't waste your time). Crafting is excessively annoying since you have to do it one item at a time. I'm using quick slot items far more than quick slot abilities, so it's annoying that I have keyboard shortcuts for abilities rather than items. I guess it depends on your 'class' choice.

I think to complete a crafting quest you should just need to have the item in your inventory instead of having to craft it because if you craft something before you get the quest to craft it you have to craft it again. I really don't want to hunt for 50 more iron ores so I can make another nail bat and Vindicator
