Not a fan, but at least the badge of the day was easy to get, so you could get a taste of the game instead of making you play too much of it.

I am not impressed with the physics in this game. There is no indication of what stress might happen where. I keep building structurally sound designs, only to have it break randomly. I tested this several times on lvl 2, and half the time, my bridge held, the other half it didn't. That's poor game design.

Also for anyone looking for tips; when I was doing a technology class in high school we used a bridge building program and made small bridges to test with actual wood in class. Typically the structure is made of triangles as it's a very strong shape. So spread smaller triangles out over a larger area for more strength.

What I don't like is there are no tips on what makes a good bridge. Yes there is a section saying "building tips" but they only say what the things are, with no recommendations on how they should be used. I have no idea what makes a strong bridge and what makes a weak bridge.

what are they connecting these parts with? Wishful thinking? Cross bracing can't wobble like that. Not an especially hard game, but horribly unreal.

I got a perfect A in physics in college, and made a scale model of a bridge that held 25 times it's weight, yet I can't beat the first level of this game.

2/5 - Completed a few of the last levels with luck through repeated resets with the same setup. Either I am missing something or it was supposed to require very creative illogical solutions. Especially 21 was ridiculous. Plenty of money, but my best bet for support was to rely on glitchy interaction between walks and the ground. When you're experienced with making various trusses it seems the biggest challenge is fighting the physics engine, and I've never found that to be a very fun game concept in the long run. For my Kongregatians stuck on the second level; the way to win saving the most money is to simply make the bridge like a little mountain. Two sticks is all you need per gap, a flatter version of /\.
Happy gaming!

I played this all the time in school! It's pretty easy, but it seems a lot of people are having trouble. As a word of advice, remember that triangles are the most stable and structurally sound shape.

i HATE brdige builders so lets put that in why i do my review because this game drove me nuts... i got no badges because i cant pass the second level... because no matter what i do i cant get the damn bridge to connect... this ga,e not for me... im bored with it... by level 2

What a stupid decision; when you're making a puzzle game, adding randomization to whether or not a bridge works is just a bad idea. I was only on the second level and trying to make a stable bridge over the second gap. But then I had to start all over because, despite not changing a thing, the bridge over the first gap suddenly started snapping apart where it didn't before.

Could be cool to have a bridge building game that wasn't only about short-term durability - but also about longterm durability, introducing the complex reality of additional longterm cost with low budget bridges, and the problem with random or highly unpredictable risks that can occur.

rephrase: from 20m to 30m I have to do it in steps of 2m and from 30m to 40m in steps of 1m. f*ck this. I am pushing a speed hack on this game else I gonna spend the rest of the year until that little f*cker crossed all my bridges until the 40m one
