Under rating threshold (show) This game just doesn't have the appeal the first game had. I love the first game, still play it. I like a lot of the new cards, and wish they'd be added to the first, but some of the changes just ruin it for me. The new interface is also not user friendly AT ALL. I can't teach any of my friends the game. Even I am having a hard time following the new user interface and I am a very active player of the first game.

Under rating threshold (show) A tip for anybody struggling with the hard campaign: Reduce the total number of cards in your deck. The default deck has around 124 cards, I played with 84 and beat each area in a few tries. Stock up on the most important cards and then remove as many of the others as you can. Having fewer cards will increase the frequency of your ideal cards being dealt. As for dealing with the sacrifice cards, you have to bait the computer into using them often, as eventually they will cripple themselves.

Under rating threshold (show) The sacrifice (unit) card can work against the computer themselves funnily when you don't have any workers yourself, they get rid of one of their workers but can't take one of yours because you don't have any.

Under rating threshold (show) In hard campaign, it's a good idea to have a control deck. You MUST as soon as possible get your opponent to 1 recruit and 1 builder (and 1 mage for last battle), keeping resources under 8 so he cant have more. To do so, you will need "remove bicks" "remove weapons" "remove crystals" and the excellent "thief". The sacrifices are really helpful (2 of each are enough). Then you'll have to grow, so recruits, builders and mages, 5 of each. Finally, when your opponent is forced to discard quite each turn (or playing weak cards), finish him the way you want (construction or direct castle damage). Generally speaking, try never getting under 8 resource so you can always play producers (this is the obvious key of beginning battles : get producers, its now or never). Finally, you will have to make your deck turn a lot, discarding series of 3 cards whenever necessary (because you will not play the same cards on each part of the battle). Last thing : be lucky, specially for the south-west one :D

Under rating threshold (show) ^^ my See previous comment^^ This deck is better on defense and magic than attack. At the beginning of each stage try to focus on getting the Mage, the Recruit and the Builder, discard 3 cards at a time to get the cards you need. I focus on the castles hp than the walls as I don't think that it really helps out that much, so discard those pesky wall upgrade cards to get a chance of magic or another upgrade. May take awhile but I was able to do all the stages pretty smoothly. I completed the last few levels on hard by building to the top by using the pixies and babylons. Hopes this helps the people in need of a new strategy / deck. Overall this game is a 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) It seems that about 50% of my games on hard just have the computer stop playing cards. It just sits there, doesn't discard, doesn't play, nothing. Really bad bug.

Under rating threshold (show) I've said it before, & now that badges are here I'll say it again: Hard mode is completely doable if you customize your deck. You just won't win every game, hence the name hard mode. If you did win every time it would be called boring mode.

Under rating threshold (show) hard mode vs CPU, even if you can play 1 or 2 cards, keep discarding 3/turn until you get your builders/magers up. Then you can outressource the CPU.

That's amazing the amount of honest fair-play gamers who just need to run as they're about to lose. Hoping this exploit will be changed, I don't feel playing is worth at all till the system is changed there.

Under rating threshold (show) Decent enough game, although the limit on the income cards should be a little higher at least. Having to restart a hard mode game multiple times just until you get lucky with those cards is stupid and easily remedied by increasing it to something like 10 each.

Under rating threshold (show) I love the original castle wars to death and like many others have said, this game drops all of the original's charm and good interface in favor or looking nicer. I think the towers should grow WAY taller and the cards DEFINITELY should have had rollover text or something better than the horrible implementation they have here. If there ever is a castle wars three, I expect much better than this. 2/5.

Under rating threshold (show) The concept is great, the graphics are great, but here's a typical scenario in campaign mode: "Oh look his castle starts at only 13 hah time to obliterate hi- OMG WTF BBQ HOW HAS HE QUAKED ME AND TROJAN HORSED ME ALREADY- WHAT HE'S GOTTEN 2 PIXIES NOW" I haven't even tried multiplayer yet and by 90% of the comments i'm not going to unless you add leaving=lose. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) My way for last territories in hard mode: Max cards in: trojan horse, magic weapons (for double dmg), ADD bricks/crystals/weapons rest is not relevant. It is possible to gather enough resources for double dmg + trojan for 60dmg befor pc get castel above 60. If you were lucky just few rounds. First we get double dmg and then put all crystals in +bricks/weapons cards.

Same broken multiplayer challenge, same bad gameplay, and now without clear card descriptions and with a much less intuitive interface.

Under rating threshold (show) I wish I could see what the *opponent's* cards do. He plays "magic protect", for instance, I see the little shield on top, and I have no idea what it is and no way of finding out during the match except by trial-and-very-unfortunate-error. It wasn't in the tutorial, clicking "card info" and then the card doesn't do anything, and mouseover/clicking on the icon doesn't tell me what it does. Sure, all the card descriptions are in "manage deck", but (for the first few matches) I can't remember everything by heart yet, and I can't visit that screen during the game. I know I'll learn everything in time, it's just that the game would be much friendlier to the novice if I could see what my opponent's card just did.

Under rating threshold (show) awesome game - granted there're some things castlewars 1 has over this, but the general awesome graphics are commendable and new cards add to the strategy (though it's a real bitch to be at the receiving end of the 2-for-1 thingy) 5/5. only major bugbear is the inability to log on as a member on multiplayer!

Under rating threshold (show) After blocking mochiads.com and disable local storage I managed to replicate most of the problems reported and I believe most of em should now be fixed, however by blocking mochiads.com you won’t get any music in-game as its streamed from mochiads.com and by disabling local storage your progress won’t be saved nor will your decks or settings. A small note for those of you who block mochiads.com, If you ever go to ninjakiwi.com to play multi player you won’t be able to play as it loads multi-player from mochiads and it uses mochiGames accounts for login.

Under rating threshold (show) I wouldn't have thought this would be a good game to do a sequel to, but I was wrong! Good work! However, here's my main problem: -I spent all that time finishing the campaign to get cards for multiplayer, then when I decide to play against another human being I find out I have to go to NinjaKiwi's page. -When I get to NinjaKiwi to play. . . All the cards I worked for are gone! I understand exclusivity is lucrative, but that particular kind of treatment is unfair to us users.
