Under rating threshold (show) Ok Tip for you to update ASAP. When your opponent quits during battle, that should count as a win for you. Getting the multiplayer badge is f%&king annoying cause every time you get the enemy down to where you just need to hit them one last time with that one card you have they will go 'your enemy has requested a draw' I click 'f%&k no im about to kill your a$s' and they quit, which causes me to get 0 wins because a quit counts as neither a win nor a loss. Which is bull sh!t

Under rating threshold (show) I actually really enjoyed the first CastleWars single player. This version is far, far too dependent on luck. The Hard campaign cripples you, and essentially you have to get the right draws while the computer gets poor ones. The minimum of 75 cards (with the corresponding maximum of 5 of each) makes it impossible to get a ratio which would tip the odds in your favor, or at least even things out. I agree Card Info should be present on mouse over (maybe after a two or three second delay), and leaving a multiplayer game should count as a loss for the one who leaves, or at least a win for the person staying. Card games are very difficult to make and balance, and AI isn't as easy as it may seem. Castle Wars 2 could be much better, and I encourage the author to address these issues. With additional cards and less reliance on randomness, this could be a deep, fun game.

Under rating threshold (show) I have to agree. Hard mode often has you watching as the enemy slaughters your resources (IMO I think those "sacrifice a builder to kill 2 builders etc" cards deserve a spot in the trash can) of which you almost have none to begin with anyway. Try playing your cards when you only get 1 Brick, 1 Crystal and 1 Weapon a turn. I'm getting tired of the computer pulling a trojan horse while I'm still trying to get enough resources together to actually play. -Sohryukei

Under rating threshold (show) Great work on all of the updates (graphics, campaign mode, animations). Items worthy of mention: Differentiating between resource bar items would be helpful --less intuitive here compared to first game. I was disappointed the castles don't grow to be taller. In the first game, you really felt your castle becoming a towering force to be feared. Here, damage is clear, but a growing castle doesn't share the same awe. I don't quite feel the same thrill in this game as blows are dealt and advantageous swings take place. Nice updates on production, but it lacks some of the first game's simple charm.

Under rating threshold (show) So as I was playing multiplayer and was going against this player, he quit. I just needed 1 more 1 win to get the medium badge. Of course I got frustrated but then check that I received my badge, even though the player quit. So now when people quit it's considered a win?

Under rating threshold (show) when people said the hard campaign depnded on luck i thought "well so did the other 2 parts" but on my 3rd castle, one go i got 10 on my tower, and they sent a dragon and defeated me. 2nd go, i barely survived their dragon, only to get beaten by a trojan horse the next. theres no actual strategy in that, thats definately just luck! nice game, but definately needs some work. a skill game shouldn't be that dependant on luck. the hard part should be creating a decent deck, not hoping the AI doesnt get a good hand!

Under rating threshold (show) AAAAAAAaaargh! I've been playing multiplayer for a while, gaining a few new cards and getting a better deck. Now this morning i decided to finalize the single player campaign. Didn't take me too long, and afterwards I returned to online. Then I noticed that I had lost all my keys, special cards, deck customization... Can I get them back somehow?

Under rating threshold (show) A tip for hard mode: Recreate your deck. Make it basically a building deck (i.e. very few attacking, a lot of building) and keep maybe 1 or 2 of any card that requires more than 10 of any resource, because unless you're lucky enough to not have the AI use "Kill Recruit/Builder/Mage" you prolly won't have a lot of resources. Stick with small attacks (Platoon is amazing) and get rid of brick based attacks (Catapult, Battering Ram). Just work on a wall (roughly 15-20) and expand until you win. Also, make your you recreate the deck so you have 5 of each of the following: Builder, Mage, Recruit, All Weapons, All Bricks, All Crystals, Add Crystals, Add Bricks, Add Weapons. They will help tremendously. And scrap Spy and Sabotage (sp?). They are useless in Hard mode. Hope this helps!!

Under rating threshold (show) It's nice to see the game got prettier and that there's a campaign, but... why such a confusing, counter-intuitive interface? Why card info is not just on mouseover? It's hard to keep track of resources when they're all lined up like that AND mirrored on the opponent's side. I understand it was all changed for some novelty value, but seriously - 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. The game suffered a lot from this.

Under rating threshold (show) The key to winning the Hard campaign seems to be getting a deck formed entirely around building your own castle to get to 100 and win that way. After trying that approach, it only took me a few tries to beat each level, and I beat the last on my first try. No attack cards, the only cards requiring weapons being Guards, Thief, and a few Recruits.

Under rating threshold (show) I got the "Hard" badge fairly simply with a gimmicky, castle building deck. All of my cards were to build the castle up, with no offensive cards at all. The only 'sword' cards I used were a couple of thief cards. I used wizards, add bricks add crystals, magic wall, Magic defense, all crystals and pixies to build up the castle. I used builders, and all the castle building cards, and a mix of wall cards for a little defense while I build up. No offensive brick cards were used.

Under rating threshold (show) I really like this game, its just that how some people get to use the trojan horse so quickly in the game and kill you. My suggestion is that maybe lower the damage by 6-10 damage. But lowering damage means lowering the key cost, and the bricks used to use it.

Under rating threshold (show) During campaign mode, if things are looking grim for the computer, the game just stops. It remains the computer's turn for ages and never makes a move. It's becoming very frustrating.

Under rating threshold (show) i dont think the hard badge depends too much on luck, i needed max 2 tries for each battle in the hard campaign and i dont think i was that unbelievable lucky! really fun and cool game, but i agree with sohryukei that the sacrifice cards are way too powerfull

Under rating threshold (show) Here's a few tips for the last enemy on hard: Remove all damage cards except for trojan horse, wain, ambush, and archer. Put all of those at 5 except archer, which can be 3 or 4. He'll have a huge wall after a few turns, so the direct damage cards will be pointless, but keep archer in to get rid of magic shields. Recruit, mage, and builder, aand all of the add material cards should be at 5. I'd advise having all remove material cards set at 0 since he usually has a huge stockpile anyways. Have 4 or 5 magic weapons cards in for obvious reasons. The rest of the stuff is up to you, though I'd advise not having too many building cards (despite the fact that I ended up winning by getting to 100 my first time, but that was because I hadn't set up my cards as much as I would've liked to.) Start by focusing on getting production up, using the add material cards to pay for production cards. Then try to use trojan horse with magic weapons on him, and finish him off with the other attack cards.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm wondering why here I'm constantly resetting my game until the opponent does NOT one-hit kill me with a dragon on his FIRST turn. There is no possible card to negate this that does not screw up the rest of the play. I can do +15 castle, but then I'm stuck with 3 bricks and 1 builder that doesn't get me anywhere. The game really looks good, but implementing a level that consists of rolling a dice until you get 6 simply doesn't make sense.

Under rating threshold (show) Hard mode... sigh, every level the opponents have an over whelming advantage over you. I beat it with a deck purely going for 100 castle hp, no attacks. This seems to work because computers are stupid. Your main building material will be crystals, and you WILL need to restart until you get a good hand, pixies FTW.

Under rating threshold (show) It would be nice if there were rooms for different skill players. One minute a noob is complaining I knocked him out with a trojan card and the next i'm getting beat buy a guy who's played 2000 times and has payed money for custom cards. Maybe rooms where you have to have won so many times to enter. And also a room where you only battle with the default deck would be cool.

Under rating threshold (show) the game is just as addicting as the first, but i have gripes with the resource counter. i think it needs color like the first to clearly distinguish at a glance the available resources, and maybe multilayering too so you can easily see which is your total resources and which is your resources per turn

Under rating threshold (show) So many people rage quit.... Thumbs up if you think you should get a win if your opponent rage quits. (This is what happened to me) My castle on 98 his castle on 3.I was just about to build tower when he rage quited.... What a wuss.
