Anyone played this over in hard? Wtf, i can't beat the cpu he keeps hitting me with curse, and sacrifice cards, it needs a shitload of luck to win.

In multiplayer, twice I've saved up keys and unlocked cards, only to have them locked again the next time that I log in. Everything else saves fine.

This game is really fun. But I just have one problem, and I don't know if anyone else thinks this is annoying. When you use the add crystals it says you get 8 crystals. But you have to use 5 crystals so you only get 3 crystals. If you can change it somehow so you get 8 crystals that would be great. Other than that I think it is a great game.

There is a bug where if you use a reverse castle card with a shield on you don't lose any fencing... 6 years late but oh well...

I took a different approach than others for the hard campaign. I used an all out assault deck for the early levels, then adjusted it to a deck focused on getting the Magic Weapons + Trojan Horse combo off. Of course it sometimes failed miserably but you only need it to work once for each battle. Didn't take too long to complete Hard Campaign, but now I see I need to go back to an easier level to get the 15 point badge!

Okay game. Lots of luck required for Hard badge. Multiplayer is regrettably glitchy (can't edit/save/load decks, and sometimes can't even join rooms). And, I imagine the "opponent quit counts as loss" issue hasn't been resolved. Too bad.

Screwed up!! the first game is called CastleWars, one word. Then a game came out by the name of Castle Wars, completely different type. Now this is Castle Wars 2. See the inconsistency?

So, I've read the comments about hard being *too* hard. and I think something you guys might be forgetting is that you can preview the enemies starting resources before you fight them. Using this you can setup several decks that are geared for specific conditions. For instance the big castle on the bottom right only started with, I think, 20 health and 5 wall. With the starting resourced you get you can kill him without having to hoard resources if you stick to the cheapest attacking options, and pull from brick and weapons. + if this helps you.

Is anyone else having trouble with the badges? I beat the all 3 campaigns and didnt get the campaign completion badge or the hard mode beat badge

There's a big bug with cards, the game doesn't use the cards you select properly. You can still get given cards which you've set to 0, and you don't get cards set to 5 any more frequently than ones set to a lower number, you need to revise your random algo a bit.

aaargh why does this game not load... every other game on kongregate does. never mind, the first game in this series wasnt that good anyway

I see you implemented the 'bot plays like a whiny kid' mode. I whittled the guy down to all 1s for resources, and he just takes forever on his turn--as if throwing the game so that you can't win. Of course, this is on the Easy final castle as the Hard race.... Arrgh.

Here's the deck that won me the game without losing after making it. 5 of each of these cards: Thief, Guards, Mage, Pixies, Add Weapons, Add Crystals, Add Bricks, All Crystals, Tower, Tavern, House, Wall, Wain, All Bricks, Reverse. The game is still terribly imbalanced though :P

multiplayer made me take away 2 stars !!! wtf is that ??? u got the upper hand and your opponent wants a tie, just stops playing or leaves...and u don'T get the win...fix that

Castles grow and fall, i don't know what people are on about. Great improvement on the first, except like what 'tetewds' said about the resouces being hard to track, otherwise great game!

this game is kinda fun but what if ur not good and u finish the campaign, now what? Do you just change tribes like 8 times and beat the game. Then ur done? So u just finish all the tribes and now what? Change games, or try to do multiplayer and completly fail at it and think of yourself as a mistake? Seriously I've never played Castle Age 1 before but it seems better :P
