The "Money Printer" addon says it give 50% more money. I made a test and it's only giving 11.5% more money, average. If I buy two, I get 22% more money. That's a lot less than what it says for having just 1.

IF you think it takes a long time getting the badge, play it at FRENETIC difficulty instead. It's not harder, just faster!

Looks like there's a bug here. The Lv16 weapon upgrade increases the damage of weapons from 400-500 to 2184 which doesn't seem to do x4-5 times damages at all. The sudden jump itself is a bit awkward, making it seem more like a display bug. Pls check this issue.

Well, it would be nice if I actually stood a chance to kill all the enemies in the last couple of levels to actually be able to get all 180 stars... Like stated, the Plasma Bombs level 25 can't even do the job.

I really enjoyed this game(lol near top score)
I really don't see how anyone can defeat the hardest levels with 100% kills. With plasma bomb or meteor gatling at full upgrade with the tri plane I couldn't kill them or even stay alive on last level hard mode. I might come back and try again later, but I doubt I'll ever achieve a score above one star last level hard mode. I don't think it needs a nerf, I think the guns need a bit of a boost. that or drop medkits more often or add a regenerative power.
Cheers!

Maybe after you've completed or failed a level, there could be a hangar button straight away so you don't have to go to the home screen all the time? Just a suggestion thanks!

Here's some math on level 20 hard: 105 enemies presented in 120 seconds. Each enemy has about 50,000 health. A fully upgraded Meteor Gatling does 9K DPS. Two damage amplifiers add 50% damage. Say the powerups equal one damage amplifier and the dmg waste on a level is 10%. The used ship has 3 slots. The DPS throughout a whole level is: 44550. The dmg done is: ~5,346M. The health is ~5,250M. The required accuracy = ~98%.

I really wish you would get the fking stat numbers for the weapons right. Like holy shit, it's not even worth upgrading a gun... 'Cus the next gun is better at level 1.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's difficult to compare the weapons without buying and upgrading them. The plasma bomb and homing missiles have a very simliar DPS at level 25, but the plasma bombs are ridiculously more effective because of splash damage. Likewise, the gauss gun is crazy effective for the price because it pierces, so every shot goes through multiple enemies. It would be great if there were stats for splash damage/piercing effectiveness on the weapon screen. (DPS would make you think that the meteor gatling is the best weapon, but it's nothing compared to the plasma bomb.)

The difficulty ramps up unfairly in the last few levels, where even a maxed out endgame weapon struggles to kill even two enemies per wave, turning the last bossfight from a minimal challenge into a dissappointing cakewalk in comparison. The game went from a normal arcade shooter into a bullethell dodgefest where even a couple of hits could destroy the highest hp ship.

*IMPORTANT FIND* I took my 2 damage boosters off the 3 plasmas to get 2 money boosters so I can grind a full upgrade on other weapons I'm not maxed no.
Guess what.
Not only do the 2 money increasing items not stack, TAKING THE DAMAGE ONES OFF HAD NO EFFECT ON MY DAMAGE! It seems that atleast for the plasma weapon, THEY JUST PLAIN DON'T WORK. Which would explain why I don't get 25 or 50% damage increase, which should be enough.
The game lies to you at every turn, including the DPS :-\. Sad, really.

Something the dev should note: DPS values are not accurate because enemies get mercy invulnerability for roughly a second after they are damaged. As a result, weapons that just deal pure damage on one hit are the strongest (Such as the Energy Cannon) and weapons that just fire fast (such as the gatling gun) are very weak in comparison.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
definitely get the fire gun as soon as possible... the numbers may not say its very good, but the DoT it has will kill so many enemies while you avoid their bullets... after that, go for the gauss gun, since the enemies come in patterns, and many of those patterns are vertical lines you can shoot through with the gauss gun... when the gauss gun isnt working anymore, the plasma bomb is the one to go for, and you should be getting it around stage 15... for planes, the thunderbolt should be the first buy, then the northrop, then the triplane or flying fortress... always try to upgrade the guns first, and get 2 armor bonuses for the ships... the final levels will kill you in 10 hits with 1400 armor...

welcome to the last level, were all your old enemies are back with stupidly overpowered black hole guns and insane hp, oh wait it gets better now their guns also get to follow your movements.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those of you wondering what to buy, get plasma gun right away (great damage for the price) and upgrade it a few times. Then save for the Northrop ship (~4.6k). Then buy frag grenades & upgrades, then 2 money printers, and finally save for the plasma bomb. Easy!

The escalation in difficulty in hard mode from level 17 to 18 is insane. The 1st 17 levels can be done in your sleep and levels 18-20 are basically impossible to get 3 stars on.

It's not QUITE as needlessly grindy as the previous one. Weirdly, it starts out more painfully slow than the midgame. The first couple levels don't drop enough gold to ditch your peashooter right away, and you're not likely to kill much and get any more gold if you try anything harder without repeating dull, easy levels several times to do so. Overall, the game still has Guess My Fetish Syndrome -- the dps you give us is deceptive and doesn't seem to account for explosions, shrapnel, damage over time, etc., so just like the previous game it comes down to guessing which 2-3 weapons out of the 20 you had an arbitrary hardon for and are actually worth saving up for.

Unfortunately it takes a bit of random luck on the last three levels, it's a pretty good game otherwise, but those last three levels require you to have at least one extra bomb and also have one of those double attack speed items available for a particular part in each. Should really cut down on the luck requirement there.

I take it back. After much frustration and persistence (read: stubbornness) (and an increase in repair kit drops near the end) I figured out how to beat the last level. It is possible, but you have to know the pattern of the planes very well so that you can get them before they get you. It helps to have a small plane to navigate through the torrent of bullets (I used the Fort with meteors left and right, with plasma ball centre). Though, I still can't even get past 1 star rating on normal :P But I've finally got the badge now, so I'm going to give my eyes a break...

I wish the interface for plane buying was a separate menu where we could just mouse over each plane rather than having to click linearly back and forth through 45 planes. I only ended up buying like four planes out of those, too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Endgame enemies have way too much health. I have three L25 Plasma Bombs equipped and I still can't kill entire enemy groups without either wasting bombs or ramming them. Part of the problem is the gun spread; an option to alter the firing angles (or just defaulting them to firing straight ahead) would be a big help.

That moment when you realize you're not strong enough to defeat the last levels with all the stars...and you've run out of things to upgrade. =(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't waste your money on the meteor gatling gun, just get the plasma bomb. The meteor gun is awful and misses everything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont get it, i bought the meteor gun and upgraded it all the way and it has a higher DPS than the plasma bomb, yet it takes longer to kill enemies with it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i would like more weapon upgrades... i maxed the best weapon by like lvl 15... would also love to see an easier way to pick ships... like maybe a separate inventory to choose between the ships we own rather than having to scroll through all the choices

dunno if matakukos fixed difficulty, but hard badge is too medium now, earned it without much fuss... also, great dynamic game once again

Shall I equip my ship with lasers? Plasma cannons? High powered Gatling guns? Lawl, naw...shoot some pigs at the problem. PETA is very upset with you...but I am very happy.

--We made a lot of fixes in the shop aqnd game itself so have fun!!--
ok how about a final fix? on "aqnd" it's written "and" :) xD :D

Just figured I should mention that I think the dev may have forgotten to fix the "triumph" ship. It costs around 5k even though the other ships around it are more like 30-40k, and there appears to be no reason for such.

this game has a major glitch the slide efrfect between options or clicking the fade keeps repeating ive refreshed over and over but it does it either on main menu or control set up :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
fun game but i kind of didn't like the big jump in difficulty from lvl 19 to lvl 20. lvl 19 fully upgraded meteor gatling helps out a lot but when you get to lvl 20 it seems like you are hitting the ships with ping pong balls and are doing nothing.

There are lots of useless planes and weapons, so i have put together a little progression guide of most cost efficient and powerful ones:
Most cost-efficient planes:
Sentinel (you start with this one) -> Nomad (cheapest 2 slot plane) -> seagull -> commando (cheapest 3 slot plane) -> Northrop -> Triplane (best plane)
Best weapons progression:
Machinegun (you start with this one) -> fire gun (good basic damage and does additional damage over time) -> rocket spreader (very good dps), i don't recommend laser as bosses seem to be immune to it -> dark energy gun ->
plasma bomb
That's just my recommendation, You can skip some weapons and planes if you fancy a little bit of grinding (it's rather easy to do Sentinel -> Commando -> Northrop)
I always used addons Money printer and Damage Amplifier, rest is rather useless, if you have everything upgraded you can switch money printer with something else.

Ibuuyk said it all. The thing that upsets me the most is the DPS. I can't effectively compare my weapons if the stats are lying the me. Please fix the countless bugs.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
when you upgrade an expensive weapon, sometimes is number (damage, speed, accuracy) gets so big that you can't see it anymore. developer should fix that.
