Under rating threshold (show) BTW, would it ever be possible to, have a button that lets you "auto" your turn? It gets tiresome having to hit pass 4-5x a turn when I already know I won the battle or I'm just grinding for more money.

I've changed the reward formula so that it provides diminishing rewards for longer battles. Therefore, it should be in your best interest to win battles fairly quickly. I would rather not implement an auto-pass feature, as it doesn't seem like a fun solution.

That is not a bug. You may only cast one ability per turn, unless the ability states that you may play another (there are many such chainable effects). Part of the strategy of the game is managing the limited number of casts per turn.

Under rating threshold (show) I would like to see the map significantly reformatted: change terrain to move freely more. Than, all mountains cost 1 action to move on (but will give you small free gold like 10-30). Or, add a new tile like a gate/wall that also costs 1 action. The idea should be that you can't move across entire map so easily. This should help out people 'stealing' other people's resources when attacking. It also would help make the rare resources more viable. Also, would be nice to see more challenging AI like imp leader lvl.2. Laslty, fix structures so team mates can defend if online. Otherwise, it's crucial to make defenses = current member's active deck.

Under rating threshold (show) Personally, I think the battle with the Howlan and the two Alphaxes is waaay too hard, since the creatures can use ALL of their abilities in one turn, and that hits pretty hard, my strongest creatures go down in 3-4 rounds. Otherwise good game.

Under rating threshold (show) once again, a nice update. i quite like the new boosters (helped me a lot in campaign chapiter 4!). a little bug though : i have finished the 4th chapiter of the campaign, and i see in my profile page that i don't have the badge awarded (neither the reward of course ;) ) I am really impatient to see what is next!

Under rating threshold (show) Card games are based on two dynamic play themes.... speed and power. The game is inherently slow with the resource generation. One change I would make to perhaps pick things up is make Meditation and Intelligence something (can't get in game to look) the resource generating spells be able to be followed up. This opens the possibility that if you're one short you can speed play it. Not having a lot of card draw is what will keep that from getting out of control. As far as deck restrictions ... 8 creatures period min makes sense 8 "common" creatures doesn't as you can ONLY have the 30 cards. you're almost at 30% creature to spell ratio min. Just some initial thoughts for now ( again as I can't get in game atm to do the 800 coin opinion thing) :-P. Overall enjoying for now.

Under rating threshold (show) Hey there. Enjoying the game so far, ... when I can play it. I keep getting a Socket Security Error that prevents me from either connecting to the server or logging in, not sure which. Upon reading the comments I gotta agree with Ace Blue on one point. I looked through all the cards and came up with a deck idea. Based on the limited spending resource I ONLY looked for creatures with abilities or spells that allowed you to take another action. Only if the ability was great and didn't allow another action on a creature did I consider it as a finisher. I feel this is the biggest drawback to the game thus far.

Under rating threshold (show) wow, is the 3 Golget campaign mission supposed to be impossible? I lose 9 health a turn from their abilities, 5 from earth spike, and every time I try and fight back they cleanse my damage spells. Blocking their techniques doesn't help much, cause they still do 4 damage per attack.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh and a tip to get more players? get your own section in Kongregates forum. Any game that does will always get an increase in players. Despite any and all other factors this has NEVER failed. Though you most likely have to attain a certain amount of plays on your game to get this feature. You could also ask for a promotional tie in for new players. Both of these will increase the amount of players exponentially. Basically ask them to incorporate a weekly challenge badge to earn ina different game with a reward for your game. Could be a specific card or an extra deck or some sudo cash or a booster pack. Something big enough to entice them to check it out even though they are playing something entirely different.

Under rating threshold (show) I really like the game but I haven't been able to play since I left my deck tab up overnight and lost my 53 reserve cards somehow. There was an update the next day so that may be the reason but I really don't know. It's been a week or more.

Thanks for your input. All balancing changes we make are not only in reaction to player feedback, but also always based on our design principles as we strive to make the game as interesting as possible for all players. Sometimes we don't get it right with the first 1 - 2 tries. It would be most helpful if you can point out which specific cards you feel need rebalancing, and why. I can then tell you either the reason why we want to keep it that way for now, or possibly rebalance the card. Thanks!

Under rating threshold (show) Ok this time I have problem with the update. Lots of great stuff was added yes, but its getting a tad frustrating to keep buying cards to use in your deck that have a decent ability get nerfed over and over again. I understand all about balancing I do, but lowering the atk power and hp of something that already couldn't take a single turn from multiple enemies? Lowering or raising the turn amount of most new card abilities? I don't know that this is balancing so much as it is more like people complaining about not liking what a card does so just weakening it. Love everything else though just feel like too many constant tweaks on the different cards. When you made it so no one can attack on the first turn or specific abilities can't be played on first turn. It just seems like its dumbing the game down :( I am still playing and understand it is a work in progress. Love how dedicated you are to the updates.

Under rating threshold (show) make automatic actions (like no discard when you dont have full hand) automatic -- unless there is an unseen reason like cards that can make you take damage based on # of cards in hand.... More generally, highlight the button at end of turn or on "obvious" actions. This is my suggestion to make for improved playability as sometimes i sit there not realizing what to do (beginner)

Under rating threshold (show) Great game, battles are a tad slow, so grinding is boring. The only thing I would love changed is the deck editing/creating page. It is so small and annoying. You should have your creatures on one side, and then spells on the other. (Or whatever) Just make it so you don't have to slowly scroll through 30 cards one at a time...

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe if you have 3/3 gems and play Meditation, PoI or Ritual you get 3/4 in-stead of nothing. That way when you end your turn you have 4/4. Right now 4 gem creatures don't seem worth saving up 2 turns to get that 4th gem.

There seems to be a good number of different purchasable cards too, so maybe it could be a plus if we can filter cards in the shop section (per booster, type [monster/spell], cost, ... especially by booster for those who wants to complete their collection ^^). Can't wait for next updates now :D

Under rating threshold (show) a little bug when i fought in chapiter 3 in campaign mode, when i fought howlan. here is an extract of the battle log : Blazix suffers 2 damage from Bite. Bite decreases Blazix's armor by 1. Blazix suffers 2 damage from Bite. Bite decreases Blazix's armor by 1. Howl increases Howlan's attack by 1. Howl increases Alphax's attack by 1. Howl increases Alphax's attack by 1. Enemy's Rage(-5) and phenix0013's Golden Golem(-0) engage in battle. the question is : rage seems to be a creature there, but my opponent NEVER played it in the battlefield. Furthermore, it is strange that it dealt 0 dmg as my blazix had no armor ...

Under rating threshold (show) I like the game overall, but I wish you would relax some of the deck constraints. Right now, the deck MUST be 30 cards, not 29 or 31, and MUST have 8 basic summons. That's a bit harsh. I can understand a lower and upper bound on deck size, but do they have to be the same? I don't think the game would become unbalanced if you allowed 40-card decks. Also, gems come so slowly (one per turn) and are used for so many things that I rarely have more than two critters on the field. I end up discarding most of the others. Also, the one action per turn limitation makes me hoard cards that bypass it, as they are inherently advantageous: If I have a summon with an ability I want to use every turn, only cards that bypass the one action per turn rule can be played. I would recommend allowing every summon to use one ability per turn and the player to cast one spell per turn, gems permitting. You might have to do a bit of rebalancing but it would make the game so much more interesting.

Thanks for the suggestions. You bring up some interesting points. The 8 summon requirement is a lower bound, so I think it's not too restricting. You may certainly be right about the deck size constraint - we'll consider making that more flexible as we increase the number of cards available in the game. We'll also think about the fundamental rule changes you suggested, although those kinds of changes would be difficult to implement - we'll collect more opinions from other players. When I posted those suggestions a few hours ago I did so because the server was down. Imagine my surprise to find out that the server was down to implement some of the features I had suggested would be added, which means you were already working on them. I am going to do whatever I can to increase exposure to your game as it really deserves it. Great job yet again. :) Also going to tip you know. First one I have given in my whole year on Kongregate :)
