Great game! The game is beatable, but pretty tricky at times. I love how the AI does different things every time you play a level, so you have to think on your toes to beat it. Tip: The last level is pretty hard, start by placing charges on walls behind enemies and killing them without risk, make extra care to get rid of the grenade launchers. Then start with the bottom room and progress to the right. Once you've got your girlfriend (and preferrably killed the grenade launchers) it'll be a piece of cake winnable with your trusty machinegun. Hope that helped!

Last hostage, enemy standing right in the way in a square room, I shoot a bullet it ricochets off the wall and hits the guy in the back of the head. By this time I feel that was the best kill ever, right before I finish the level. At the last seconds I accidently hit space and kill both the hostage and myself... god damn it

entertaining game except for the whole, you can shoot the terrorists 5 - 6 times and they don't die but if you get touched by anything you explode. not to mention the fact that grenades cannot be thrown around corners, you have to be in the middle of the hallway to throw it and then we are back to first point, 1 bullet

A small thought I like: You can complete a level while getting shot to death. (As long as you make it to the last hostage before you get explode-y, you win~) I hate how the enemy bullets don't seem to have a range limit, but My gun does...

wdf! my hostages come to the grenade and the terr goes away! do the host think its going to help them live? or do they want to die?

"Oh Elena! I found you! I hope this guy didn't touch you..." says something else I cannot remember..."Oh George-" Get's hit with a grenade launcher...Epic Fail right there and a great way to end a touching moment

please tell me you didn't just wipe the saves yet again so the grenade launcher can be moved slightly closer to where you start the level

A trick for overcoming the grenade launcher types is the Kool Aid Ambush, as I like to call it. Take a Radio Grenade and place it on your side of a wall. Wait until the guard comes by on the other side of the wall. Press the button, watch both the wall and him splatter. Ooooh yeeeeah.

Umm a little notice that picking up Emily involves a not being able to pick her up for a couple seconds would have been nice...or you could have just put that cut scene at the end, after the level was over

George huh... Just the kind of name you think of when you think of someone going into a hostage keeper's hideout and blowing people's heads off...

would of been cooler if at the end she was like "I love you so much..." "..Now die." *she opens her skirt to reveal a terrorist bomb and explodes* Now that's a game over.

The only way to beat this funny, but very screwed up game is by doing one level at a time, than go do somethin that doesn't get you angry to the point you want to kill the guy who had the idea that walking hostages and triple-grenade-throwers would be fun together. Than you can go back and try the next level^^

I think we all learned a few things about hostage negotiating from this game. 1. Bullets always bounce off of walls. 2. When entering a new area, look for all the grenades and explosives laying on the floor in the middle of the room. 3. If you are not sure who the hostage is, just look around for a blonde lady in a gray dress.

very nice game.. like old retro dangrous dave. This is good level of casual gaming. I advise very strongly in making and good longer sequel.

Solid game, with multiple solutions to levels. It rewards patience, reflexes, as well as thinking things through, without being obnoxiously gimmicky or frustrating. Well done.

hmm, yes... a hostage situation. Obviously the best way to get everyone out safely is to bring my rocket launcher, grenades, and explosives...

To the developer: Play Hotline Miami. Then play this again. This could be similar, if the controls were tighter and the collisions were better. As is, it's uninteresting at best.

not really about the game but I keep getting these adds halfway down the page that blast loud commercials after about 2-3 minutes and will NOT stop even when I try to pause/mute it it just refreshes itself within 10 seconds and starts over again, the only way to get rid of it is to completely refresh the page and pray it doesn't happen again...
it's a lot of tv commercials like for detergent and cheetos and crap like that

Oh, and don't throw grenades at the hostages... unless ya know, you WANT to see them blow up. The hostages are easily confused by objects thrown to them and will very likely attempt to return said object.

fun game, people are complaing a bit, but its less chaotic then Broforce :)
It took me a while to see, so hint: look at the character icon and look to see what kind of secondary weapon you are carrying.

Gotta love 1 hit deaths..always good for making a decent game make you wanna throw a real grenade at someone. At least there's WASD support so I can actually play it.

''An explosive shooter where every wall can be blown up and destroyed with a variety of things that go boom.'' I already like this game.
