For a 24-hour game, it's not bad at all. I think it would've benefited with assigning numbers to the pieces or a level select menu, but you probably ran out of time before you could implement it. 4/5

What's the horizontal brick? A friend that is good at being a bridge? Too strong to be a dog or a snake, not tall enough to be a horse. Komodo dragon? Friendly crocodile? But it can't swim...

@firebeasty
Your comment of "needs badges" is rather crappulous. Although I understand that "needs badges" could be interpreted as "your game is good enough for badges, and that's awesome considering it only took 24 hours", badges somehow tend to decrease the rating of games. Right now it only has a 3.65 star rating. That's not that high (but it's good). I can also interpret "needs badges" as "I finished the game and I want a cookie or a badge if you have no cookies". Dang it, the point of playing games is to have FUN, which is your reward. Also, I suck at baking cookies.

I named them all:
the little pink one is Thomas, of course.
the fat orange one's name is Peter.
I named the tall yellow one Gerald (he's my favorite)
And the flat red one is Roy.

What an awesome minimalist game. For those who want a reset.... Are you not on a level where you can "drown" one of the "friends?" I had to reset one level but I just jumped into the water with the tall one.

I love it when you have to cross gaps using the square shaped orange guy on the long horizontal red.. its like surfing but 2 ft above the water :o

fun game! kinda lacks orriginality, but hey it was a just a short little game that was fun to play through without being so hard u ragequit. if it was hard it would be crap cause its not quite advanced enough to have to try real hard. couuld use some nice calm music and a reset button 4/5

What a brilliant game! I ploughed through it in about 15 minutes, but that was a pretty nifty 15 minutes :)
The public demand more! :)

never will i look at a square and a rectangle again without seeing their eternal bond destiny to get to their respective dotted outlines!!!!

Kind of neat, but please add a save function so you don't have to play everything in one session. (This is especially true since we don't know how many levels there are). Could be 4 or 5 with a save, 3 for now.

I upvoted radar816 because he's right. The game has been released on basically every other platform out there, and as such, will NOT be coming back to places like Kongregate. This listing is and will remain a link to a game that cannot be found here. I personally don't *mind* overly much that it's still on Kong (if nothing else, it serves as a testament to how high a good idea and good execution can take you), the fact remains that there is nothing here.

hi guys. Thank you all for the kind words and constructive criticism. Given the game's popularity, I'm definitely going to be expanding the idea out into something bigger than the original 24 hour developed game you see here. Keep the suggestions flying. I can tell you now.. controls are no.1 priority for the follow up. And l4p4k, there are 23 levels :D

For 24 hours, this is amazing. I love how it's so simple, but it's great ^-^
A save button would be nice, and so would a reset button. Other than that, it's awesome.

The idea is fantastic - the fact the shapes don't have faces gives the game a touch of special atmosphere / less is sometimes more..

The extremely simple mechanics are surprisingly effective. Superfluous "sentimentality" reminds me of one too many art games, though.
