Das didn't come up with the poetic end thing =P at the end of the game when the world is cracking up, the word "deception" is scrambled a few times, and "poeticend" is the last one.

instructions. J is jump, a/d is walk u can also use x/c, k is shoot spikes yes spikes are useful. do not jump on creatures they will kill you. And just a little tip for the future at the end when you get back to the beginning ignore it and just wait by the light beam after a while it disappears continue walking. and jump you will go right through the wall and that gives you access to the second ending. oh and to keep this on rate it up! thanks for listening and good luck on the game. Oh my goodness. I was playing and he said "Kill the creature by jumping on it." I said in real life "I don't trust you.." And it said "Trust me."

Move = A, D
Throw Spike = K
The level "K" is called "K" because you need to throw a spike using the K key AFTER picking up spikes. Throw the spike at the wall then use it as a surface to jump on to reach the portal.

[SPOILER WARNING] Haahahahaha I was about to get REALLY cross with the badge-awarding thing, because I didn't bother getting the good ending (first I repeatedly hit escape when I was told by the 'helper' that I had completed the game, and then I kept repeating the 'trapped forever' ending) but the badge didn't award.
Then I went and tried to get the good ending, because I figured I'd invested enough time that I at least wanted to complete the game, even if I couldn't have my badge. When I got the good ending, the badge awarded, and I was on the cusp of having a hissyfit when I realised that I had been fooled by the 'don't bother getting the good ending' instruction =/ Feeling like an idiot, I thought the only thing to do was to share my stupidity.

Guy = GLaDOS Still, a very fun game. Figuring stuff out was a nice change, and I actually laughed occasionally when certain comments + unexpected consequences were paired up. 5/5

Just looked at the comments again about how stupid the game is hahahahahahaha. I'm sorry, but for all the crap they put, they're the stupid ones. Oh, and AD isn't the only way to move. They basically TELL you how to move when the game begins when it says "don't press X+C". So, for the people that had to bring down a game that was actually really good, THINK before you start putting unneeded garbage in comments. It's a waste of our time to see something so thoughtless.

If you people would pay attention and quit yelling about how you can't jump because space doesn't work. Notice, when he says press space to jump, it slightly pauses at j before finishing the rest of the word jump. Awesome game, loved the ending (second one).

Ummmm... at the final level I just jumped straight into the gems and, I'm guessing, only the clone died because it jumped straight to the "Poetic end" thing. Dev plz fix

Ok, ok. I've done a lot of thinking and I've come to a conclusion. Your character is suffering from depression and can't deal with it. The black figure talking to you represents your conscience (a psychological figure of a clone of you that helps you to differ the right from the wrong). He is part of your mind but because of your depression he is now trying to get you killed (suicidal thoughts). You may listen to him (resulting in death) or you could figure out another way to push through with it continuing in life but also your problems (more levels). You could choose the "easier" way and choose to not deal with the monster lurking inside you (first ending) or you can choose to fight it and your free (second ending). This is just my opinion (I know there are lots of others) rate up to keep alive so others can see! :D

Guys, if you think the game is buggy, we'd really appreciate if you can report them. Currently, the game is, according to our tests and observation, bugfree. The only problem the game has is that it doesn't work properly with very low framerate (FPS < 20fps) which isn't really a bug as its more of a platform limitation. We did however notice that some people complain that jumping isn't working at times, but we couldn't really trace this as it works properly on all machines and tests we run. At this point we can only assume people suck at platforming style with landing cooldown. I'll try enabling jumping during the landing cooldown in the next update so we'll see how it goes. (:

alttrav u r an idiot if the controls were normal then the whole point of the first few levels will have dissapeared. And what kind of eyes do you have? That backround is perfectly fine and if you dont think it is stop playing flash games. And it might not be neccesary but how is it perplexing? as i said before, stop playing flash games, the graphics are really soft on the eyes compared to other games.

This may sound wired but from my perspective its meaning is that a person has DEPRESSION and can't deal with it. In the game there are two endings. One is that you stay trapped (don't deal with it) Second one is that you fight it and your free. This is what I feel when I read the words. If you agree press +. And please press + so everybody can always read it. :D Good Luck!!!

The best thing about this game was that it lets you do whatever you want (I just loved ignoring those gems while he yelled at me to get them) and no one can stop you - unlike in real life :)

POETIC END! TAKE THAT YOU LYING JERK! You know, this game showed me how frustrating and damaging lying really is. Really fun, very creative. A definite 5/5
