for all you people that hate it because it's a 'stolen' patapon version......notice that inspiration is a word, too, and as long as the game is basically of the designer's vision, then there's nothing wrong with it.

Wow finally beat the 2 skull swords master by getting a dedicated melee team and keeping overkill mode for over 40 seconds straight.

To the people that believe this to be a Patapon clone: Congrats, you're right. However, while trying to play this game, I look desperately at the useless beat counter. I died to here high-pitched voices instead of some super annoying instrument. All in all, this game s the same as Patapon, just a lower quality expertness. And to the developers: well nice, your Flash skills pummel mine!

not the funnest game in the world... the drumming takes up your concentration and all... but great concept, and would be good for music classes to help keep the same beat.

People who say that its a monster slayer clone... hmm lets mull this over It was created by the same person right so maybe he used the same ideas for the games but nothings a clone unless its exactly alike

Only Swordsman is good enough to play with it, because of many uprades and many reinforcements.So what if other units have more hp and damage if they are only 1, and swordsman is 4.All units should have upgrades and at least 3 reinforcements.Situation like this makes special units useless :/.Still its very good game, and its different than others, so 5/5 :).

Would everyone stop saying they copied Patapon? He said taht it inspired him, sure it looks like a copy, but its not that bad of a game, even though the lagg of my computer throws off the beat every time i kill all the enemies or new enemies show up. This game makes me want to play Patapon again, only to not have to deal with the lag. Other than that major problem, I'll have to give it a 4/5 for actual gameplay. Great job in turning a game like Patapon into a flash game... Who knows? There might be a MW2 Flash game on the horizon

Swordsman, 2 x Demon Hunter, 2 x Flame Archer. All of these fully upgraded, and it's a piece of cake. When there is a tougher enemy around (like a high level monster, the elite warriors, bosses), just defend, besides that, charge in and attack. Pretty simple.

I've never heard of or played 'patapon' so I don't care if this is a flash copy/version of it. Very clever game, haven't got far enough to see if it gets more fun with more combo beats. For now 4/5.

....HEEEELLLLLOOOO people. Of course this is not going to be as great of a game as patapon, it is not properly funded, and patapon is a CONSOLE game while this is an internet game, take that into consideration <

@darsh97. Just finished in 33 days. Used 2 elite swordsmen and 2 elite (flame) archers, and 1 priest priest to beat level 16. There are only 17 levels so you are almost there. Accordingly, the upgradable units end up better and more expensive than the tier 2 and 3 units. Nothing to do once you beat it. Great game.

I really quite enjoy it. and for those of you who have issues with the beat its because either your computer is too sucky, the quality is too high (change with t) or a mix of both.

@demon_warlord: it's not really a ripoff... the control scheme and background art style is loosely based on 'patapon' for the sony psp. everything else is different...

thanks for uploading the game. i really wanted to play patapon, but, like you, don't have a psp. this is a good substitute.

@nitetrooper93: there are a total of 5 commands: advance, attack, retreat, defend and also the kill mode combo (when you reach 40 combo). one of the reasons i made this was because it was REALLY hard to find anything like patapon on the pc! so i made my own...

Actually a pretty decent game once you get used to the controls. First time Ive played a game like this.Is there only the two commands though? Advance and attack? Maybe I just havent played enough yet... 5/5 though.

oh and another thing,apart from the repeat,kill mode and defensive modes who arent there in the web version of patapon,the commands are exactly the same key combinations

the resource management is simpler than patapon, and i added the ability to pause during battles. and of course it's free to play! :)
