Here's some help on the final level in blind mode. 1) The VERY FIRST thing you have to do is send earth's ships to colonize the left laser. 2) When the central laser is done send most of its ships to the right laser. 3) After all the lasers are colonized then send all ships to the ship yard. (leave at least one at the central laser) The mother ships should focus on the left laser after the battle for the ship yard is over and their fleets will get destroyed before making it there. 4)Now colonize the moon and earth and amass at least 100 ships at the shipyard and destroy the left mother ship. 5) Repeat step 4 on the center and right mother ships. Plus up to keep this alive! (after becoming president of earth for saving it of course)

3825 aliens destroyed, 3 mother ships destroyed, at a cost of 328 ships, but 319258 pilots and crew lost their lives :(

very nice game, i love the fact that it is so basic without upgrades and things you need a tutorial for. the only thing that is annoying is that the game is way too short

I would love to see a number 2, about earth's survival as part of the space community. It would be a great lead on from the story of this one.

Very fun game. I've played other games like this, but this one pushed the genre forward more than any of the others I've seen. Excellent job making this.

I would not request much more about such a great game, exept a... Level editor!
It would be awesome to create your own levels -- I spent a lot of time replaying the missions, but I would love to let my imagination go wild. Maybe more teams or multi-ai battles?
Aside from that, great game!

seriously. I had a hell of a time beating the first mothership on normal and then 3 new ones shows up.. R U SERIOUS???

I got the the cutscene thing at the end of the game and was like 'oh is that it?'.... very good game, quite like the nanowars series, but with a twist. Quite nice, smooth game play, good graphics, and nice difficulty curve. 4/5

Great game. Really 4.5 Stars
Blind was a neat challenge
1: You can tell who controls what planet
2: If you hover over the planet you can see how much population it gives you
3: Your total population is still visible
4: You can gauge by the number of ships circling each planet how many there are, it's a rough estimate but it's enough.
5: You can see when a planet is being taken over... that alone makes it not too difficult.
Also another thing Lazers are OP as fawk XD
Seriously whenever there's a level with a lazer or two that's the FIRST thing I focus on, I grab them and hold them.
Spaceports are also important if you have not enough ships to meet your population, it speeds growth by like 200%
And well Warps are just great for strategy.
But lazers... you get those early on... especially near the enemy planets, they can't do a damn thing XD
But yeah this game was fun. I hope it gets badges, then I'll play it again ^^

@Tgedati: No reason to rage. The mothership can be easily tackled, by always pre-emptig its attacks. After taking over your initial planet, attack the planet, that the mothership is going to attack. The distance to the planet group is the motherships weakness und has to be abused. By always pre-empting it, you slowly take over all planets and let your forces grow, while the Mothership cannot become stronger.

Is anyone else having technical difficulties? I can play Solarmax 2, but not this one. I've tried it on Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox, but nothing works.

5 star for it, the bad side is...to few level >.< It is a bit addicted game na, later if u make 2nd version, please add some more stuff :P

tip: if your having trouble with lazers, use warps. you can completely avoid the lazers and go straight to the places you need.

Really liked the space theme to the game, it made it more interesting. Overall the game was great. I'm usually not into this type, but this one blew the others out of the water. 4/5 and adding as a favorite! Definitely needs badges!
