at first I got excited because it really reminded me of Dungeon Keeper's spirit. But this game seriously lacks of fun: Why restrict the amount of tiles ? this kills the fun of making a nice dungeon. Plus everything takes wayyyy too much time to make the game fun. Too bad because the spirit of the game felt good at first. Everything requires money in this game. If the developer would dramatically reduce the cost of things AND remove this stupid tile limitation, I would really play this game.

RobertR10, Yea, ive done maybe twenty and i only got kreds from one,I wish there was a more stable way so you know you are gonna get your kreds if you take twenty minutes of your time to do a stupid survey

maria: in the lower right corner is a button that allows you to set your troops to not attack, also try sending them mail asking them not to attack you.

There is 1 major problem with this game that is so blatant, every player has found out by now. It takes too long to do stuff! Even buying things from the regional market takes a long-ass time! Farming? Lot's of waiting. Building? Lot's of waiting. This game? A big waste of time. The dev's really need to work on that, pronto.

This game has amazing potential, but as it stands rignt now, it is a pile of steaming shit.
The only reason i play this game now is because i can come in to work in the morning, start every building, crafting, whatever, and then just wait til the next day until it is complete.
This is basically the electronic equivalent to watching paint dry.

Ok, at first I thought the one comment about your avatar(which is cool, it's from Overlord 1 or 2 by Codemasters) was fine, I even +'ed, but now, just shut up about it desciclope666.

To be honest, these games are starting to give me some kind of pavlovian reaction. The second I see "Multiplayer" on this site, I already don't like where it's going.
On the other hand, at least I can tell that I won't like it without having to actually click on the game, so hey!

I really don't mind all the premium... now before you explode and get really mad, i only like the premium if there is a possible and simple way to earn it in game without paying money. Like a resource conversion maybe where you could trade crystals or iron or even better your extra gold for premium money. Then the people that pay still have the advantage because they still have more resources but at least us players who really don't think 100 premium dollars is worth 10 US dollars. These games are Kongregate's way of paying the developers and the dues for the right to keep this website online.

I was expecting my goblins to bring back the exact resources I need for upgrading my mine from a 40+ hours mining expedition. All of a sudden, without any notice, it won't be enough then. Not only the cost has raised more than double, but also I have to upgrade 5 times to reach the equal level. For what? sellimg more "complete upgrading"? Show some decency and respect to the players, no matter paying or non-paying ones, would you? Very nice then, i have had it, bye bye overlord! bye bye NOG!

Nothing is wrong with multiplayer. If you have a good game and people can pay for additional stuff like vanitiy items or addons: PERFECT! But these type of games are designed from the very start to only leech money. They aren't designed to be fun. They are designed to suck out as much money as possible. These games are a DISGRACE to the whole gaming community. I wish I could personally spit in every developers face of these boring retarded cashgrab shi1tfest games. Plus they obviously fake the ratings or other criteria to be on the top of Hot New Games List. This game is neither hot nor new. It is pure BS.

Careful with your starting Marks, you'll need 20 of them for your third dungeon unlock. The game doesnt mention this until youre a little ways along, and by then its very possible to have already spent your initial reserve. Just a heads up to noobies like myself

Reminds me of Dungeon Keeper from WAAAAY back. Interfaces are a bit screwy, can't always get to the upgrade screens the same way. Good potential with a few tweaks. Just my 2 coppers....

I love that last option "1500 coins now only 1000 Kreds!" You realize that is 100 bucks, right? I can buy 100 slim jims. They'd make me less sick with a better taste in my mouth than this Bullfrog copying crap. Also, slim jims are nasty.

Let me copy *Developers need to eat too you know*...but the way you are getting your money is pretty cheap and i am dissapointed

Hey... Another game that I can play and see how long it takes before I get too annoyed with the paying concept and quit.

Loved Dungeon Keeper. This is an interesting extension of that concept into multiplayer... And yes, the Assistant should be free.

I can understand getting raided by the nearby towns. Having them kill creatures 2x or 3x their level because of the AI controlling things, then losing a ton of levels as a result ... that I don't understand. Especially as it took a ton of resources to train those levels. So despite traps, I had Orcs of level 23,22,19,16,1 Thief level 10, Warlocks level 10,10,10 killed by levels 10,9,9,8,7,6,6,5,5,4,4,4,3,3,2. The attackers only had a 4 and 2 killed. Creatures being killed should only lose a level or two. Losing 14 levels or so from the Orcs and 6 levels for the thief and warlocks is excessive. Why should I bother training them back up? The AI will still get them killed.

Just to mention something to the guys below: No. You don't have to go to your kong homepage. You just click on the person you want as a friend's dungeon and you click "Add friend". And then they just get a message asking them if they want to be xD

I was dreaming for a time now with a Dungeon Keeper multiplayer game! This is what I think, a good start :)
Although there is a lot of things to be made yet... First of all like many people said, we dont like to be forced to pay here on Kongregate. You devs should think about differents ways to get money that doesnt give some players advantage over anothers.
Keep it on with the game! But dont frustrate players that are not paying! :)

This game is very playable for free however to compete in the ranks you will need to come out of pocket. I wont go as far as to say its complete in any way but it gets the job done and posses a unique play style ive yet to see replicated..yet.

Kongregate is obviously fudging ratings to put these games on the hotlist and to get people to play them. If you need proof just look at the monthly contest. These worthless facebook style games are always scored higher than the games on the contest page which means the rating Kong is showing is not real. STOP your BS Kong.

Here you go... For $6.00 you can have a copy of the original Dungeon Keeper game that this is clearly based on. http://www.gog.com/gamecard/dungeon_keeper

"OMG MULTIPLAYER MUST BE PAY 2 WIN". maybe give it a chance, a few hours and decide then. don't quit at the earliest point. if people would take a moment to check things out they would realise it is very possible to participate on the high end if they put some time in it.

@skullhead51 You do realize that you didn't read, and that all my monsters (except a new lvl 1) were higher level than the attackers. No reason for them to hide. It was an AI issue (the orcs basically ignored all the attackers to try and attack the ones in the rear getting hacked down along the way) complaint and a ridiculous level loss complaint. I lost more levels than the atackers had levels. Read that again. Losing 14 levels is not trivial. Of course, if I'm willing to SPEND then the level loss isn't an issue. And that's majorly messed up.

Just what this site needs. Another poorly made game that requires money to play. Don't forget to rate 1/5 to get rid of this pollution.

In order to move an upgraded room with out downgrading/demolishing it, you must first have at lest the same number of tiles as the room you want to move(i.e. 3X3 room you need 9 tiles). Place them where you want the new room to be and then in the old room left click on the furniture and in the wheel youll see an option to "Move Furniture". Move it to the new room that places the upgraded room in the new room and you can easily demo the old one. please rate this up

*sigh* This could have been SUCH a wonderful Dungeon Sim game, instead it's just another crappy Facebook pay2win game. So very very disappointed.
