@jef hide creatures, build a trap maze, ship as many res as you can out of your raided dungeon, and safe storage as many res, and thus discourage your enemy from farming you. Good luck! :)

How about making tiles 16 DM so those you tricked into spending DM on a useless boost for the tutorial can get a taste? I keep teetering on the brink of buying DM, but then I remember how annoyed I am. A bit of fairness might push me in your direction

Not really. YOu can get everything with normally playing, it just takes longer. And thehaters can shut the f up, you get damn annoying. If you dont like Do, dont play it

The game needs checks and balances, or at least, a better creature recovery system that doesn't basically cause you to restart if your base is wiped out.
I had three of my bases wiped out by a player nearly twice my level; I'm basically restarting.
So I'm gonna quit; I've invested too much time into a game with flawed mechanics; I'm going to turn all my nodes off too; I know that that will piss off the farmers, but I consider it a protest. So there :p

A really good aspect is, that minor bugs are quickly repaired. Failed Quest because keyboard was not available during 'rename overlord' quest actually was solved one hour later and other minor issues are all repaired over-night, too. Admirable care for the product.

The enforced tutorial takes hours, even with all done properly and purchased boosters... nice way to keep me from gaming.

What moltenstar says is true. All you need to know is how to manage your resources & have patience: Look at it this way: You don't need to pay a cent, & while waiting for upgrades/mines, go play another game simultaneously!

@str8piff wrong u just need to know good strategy. Strongly recommend you come from base building games. The knowledge will help you a ton.

This game is very playable for free however to compete in the ranks you will need to come out of pocket. I wont go as far as to say its complete in any way but it gets the job done and posses a unique play style ive yet to see replicated..yet.

that badass company wiped all my progress from once DO was SOE Facebook project. It was available on sole nightowl site, but now there are random empty dungeon, and not mine :(

Dungeon Overlord doesn't always clenly display and then you try to enter a Suport Report and you can't get to the page. Kongregate has to clean their memory usage up. It wll lose players.
