When I couldn't fly and saw a mass of pink squares i tried backtracking and was like "Oh Shrapnel!" when I realized I was stuck. Interesting using them to get to high places.

A very great game. i lked the fact that it is longer than the the first one but much more simple. Great graphics and music. 5/5

These games are short, but the meanings people have found for the games are really neat. If we think about it, these games show some of what happens in our life. This one is how we sacrifice what makes us unique in order to be what society thinks we should be. If we do not, others will make fun of us or be hostile.

In life some people will want to take you down and others want to help you. Don't judge people and hold a grudge, try to unlearn their wrongdoings.

MadCrimson and zakemcfake: It is completely intentional that the pink creatures are harmful first and helpful later. This is part of the puzzle that you need to unlearn what you learned in the first part of the game.

Quinn's Review: The Black Forest 2 doesn't have the same arty ambience and wistful melancholia of the first instalment, but it does have in its favour greater length. Whereas 1 was an anti-Pac, 2 is an anti-platformer. First you have no gravity, then you have nothing but gravity as your jump button goes from hover mode to grounded. The music was a tad more stable in this iteration, but the graphics have far more depth, and I just loved the tiny bouncing pink things. I think I enjoyed number one more for its ambient experimentalism, but the second has actual gameplay, so I'm going to enjoy this novel take on genre and gleefully move on the the next intriguing episode.

Agreed BrokenWiseman.
And once you've lost it though, they help you themselves to get what you want.
It's the compromise that does it for me...

Nice concept, but the collision detection seriously needs work. The second screen is very much just getting lucky and not planning/skill, and the third screen, well, I'm embedded in the floor and unable to move.
