Commander: Soldiers! Quit firing directly at the damn ship! Fire intricate bullet designs, especially spirals! That'll get 'em!

What the Bullet Hell? Did somebody just shoot you with a bunch of Zero Bombs? The rating has plummeted like my ship! Oh ship...

Well...I don't know how to "avoid lag" when the boss in the game is causing it. I would probably stop using the overcharge capability on the weapons, or you need to just get a better computer.

PLEASE PLEASE figure out a way to lock the cursor to the game screen.. or maybe pause when mouse leaves the screen, or something. I die so much because my ship just stops and sits there if i step so much as 1 pixel over the border.

Always epic game Frantic series! An alternative tips for Impossible Badge "lazy version":select Tactician ship(fast regen energy and 12 accessory),select Kamikaze and Casual.Buy early 4 rockets(after some levels you can afford the first rocket)and buy 1 laser(clicking on the DarkGreen slot as ivod wrote(thx ivod),no problem if laser dont hit boss. With these weapons you do not have to worry about hitting enemies and bosses standing to the side dodging, but you have to worry only to avoid the bullets, and money will rain toward you.Buy 3 Overdrive Drive,3 Advanced Targeting,3 Power Booster,3 Coin Magnet for get fast money, after change it with 3 Absorption Panels;)In Area5 bonus3 change laser with cannon. With this ship that has fast charging of energy, you can use Secondary Weapon when there are so many enemies(just a few clicks and the rockets will clean everything easily meanwhile you can asleep):D Do the same obvious tactic..survival dodge! You have earned all achievements!Have a good game

Frantic 2 was a great game, fun, challenging, and, most importantly, polished. This seems unfinished or rushed. The core gameplay is good, most likely copied from Frantic 2 with some graphics changes. But the shop seems buggy (extra weapon and accessory slots) and unfinished (no stats about anything). Coins become useless long before you've finished playing if you're trying to get unharmed achievements, but there's no option to disable coins, which was highly requested on Frantic 2 comments. I want to like this game, because I liked Frantic 2 so much, but it really adds nothing to the series. Rating: 2/5
I will gladly upgrade to 5/5 if the developer makes a few changes.

I finished the game with Setas on instead of power boosters to get the impossible badge, but everything else close enough to the same. Seta + Absorber means you can slow your way through the hardest parts of anything, and you can rapid toggle the slowdown to get a lot of scrapes and pick up absorption boosts along the way. It has good sustain and I found the combination to be a godsend against the 5-6 boss. It's significantly harder than the rest of the game.
One general advice on the 5-6 boss: In his final third, he starts summoning bombs. You have to get to the bottom middle as quickly as possible, as you'll get trapped almost anywhere else. Immediately after the bombs, get away from the bottom middle, because shortly after this, he'll summon red orbs from offscreen, which will instantly kill you upon spawning if you stay there. Both these phases killed me the first time I encountered them due to the sheer cheapness of them.

Bug: Enemies killed outside the screen (especially at the top) do not drop money. (Actually they drop, but money just disappear because they outside the screen...).

For the first time in my life I had to turn down my mouse sensitivity to finish a game. Also, my in-built SETA Drive (lag) was not enough to slow down the bullets. A great addition to the bullet hell genre. A real shooter.

Heck yeah, finally got the impossible badge. I blew through every other level using a tactician with liberal application of particle launchers (I love those things), but A5-B3 took a number of attempts. Speaking of which, doing that level made me realize something; SETA devices need to slow everything, including enemy fire rate, because right now if you hit secondary fire while a boss is busy filling the damn screen with bullets it causes all of them to bunch up really tight and become almost impossible to dodge. Just equipping a bunch of graphics intensive weapons actually ended up being superior. Oh, and one other thing; if you destroy enemies when they're barely on the screen they don't drop coins. This is very annoying when you're using before mentioned particle launchers and enemies are flying at you from the top of the screen, as you destroy most of them before they get on enough to drop anything.

:P so many times I've completely dodged a super powerful attack then half a second later I get shreded by a microscopic bullet within my profile

Uhh, well does it only fire 1 rocket at once or does it fire them all at the same time and stack on top of each other? I've noticed a darker outline on the rockets coming out of ships with multiple rockets and more "explosions" on the boss when it hits. This could be possible because when the rockets go in their seperate ways to attack different entities, they spawn all at the same spot, so if they all went an identical path to the boss, it would give the illusion of just 1 rocket being launched.

Don't really care for the long death animation or the ridiculous number of coins that fill the screen, but this was fun. The freedom to customize your ship was a nice change from the earlier Frantic games

A minor quibble--I wish the energy bar had a greater contrast between full and empty. It's hard to see how much energy I have, especially when I'm focusing on dodging ten thousand bullets. n_n

now THAT badge was a heavy peace of work. Finally beat the last level unharmed with 1 particle launcher and 8 missiles (thx ivod for the hint on the secret spot) and 2 absorption panels + 5 power boosters. (suited me better than ivod's layout)

In the stats screen, achievement names are wrong. Oops rank 1: get destroyed 5 times, Oops rank 2: get destroyed 10 times, and Oops rank 1 (1 again ?) : get destroyed 20 times

i think it should say how much cash you have next to the shop button, so i dont have to go into the shop to actually see it.

FASTEST MONEY GRIND: How to get 21k in a few minutes.
First, look above and read the post by "ivod" called IMPOSSIBLE BADGE TIPS: follow his loadout - it works (Thanks ivod) BUT there are two changes to his loadout while you are grinding. ONE swap the 3 Over Dive accessories for 3 Magnets you'll need them TWO don't max out any of the weapons until you have enough to max them all. This will take roughly 270k- about thirteen trips through. Now, goto AREA 1 - STAGE 3, when the Boss comes out move to the side and just dodge. Try not to hit the boss. First he'll send some red bullets out a few times. Second he'll snd out green bullets. Finally - as soon as he switches back to red bullets, get down to the bottom center of the screen, wait until the bullets are about 2 ship lengths from you and hit your secondary weapon. FINAL NOTE I noticed that you don't get as much gold when you repeat levels, I suicided every time I got my gold to prevent killing the golden goose. I suggest you do to.

I think I know why everyone thinks that Frantic 2 is better than this. It's because Frantic 3 just introduced a new concept. When Frantic 1 came out, people were like, WHOA THIS GAME IS AWESOME and everyone wanted a sequel. When Frantic 2 came out, it stayed true to the original concept, with three lives, and when you lose them, GAME OVER, but it added some more things, more enemies, more cards. When Frantic 3 came out, The concept just wasn't there. There was no penalty for dying and there was less of a difficulty curve, gradually getting harder unlike Frantic 1 and 2, which threw everything at you, hence the name Frantic. This is a good game, it's just not a good game to add to the Frantic series and would have been better off as a stand-alone.

At some advanced point you need the option of "no more coins" or "fade coins", i'm always being hit because of them (and i dont need them "anymore")

This is one game where having a fast computer is a liability. If the game is running to fast, opening a bunch of new tabs and going to random sites on them might help slow down the game.

This game is quite the challenge but I felt scared to try new things. If I wanted to test out the different weapons against a boss I have to sell my old ones and if I am then unsatisfied with these new weapons I am now stuck with them until I get the cash to get back to my old setup. Perhaps a storage box or something to place unused weapons while one uses the other ones. Also a way to see the other items for sale without having to sell something. Otherwise it gets hard to know what I can replace my accessories with.

I'd say my biggest problem with the game is how long it continues after you die, I would really had liked an option to turn that off.
