@Ghandi2010 What are you talking about?!?!? The music was untiring and completely original as said by TheShoxter "...the music was spot on.....Really completed the experience." The music made the game better! I honestly thought that the game concept was lacking in originality. But the music made the game playable with a loop that never seemed to get old. Sorry for my rant but the comment threw me off. 4/5 great game!!!

Nice game, I had to check my timer to be sure I was not back in the 80's. I liked the old 80' games and thing you hit the feeling of them very good :-)

I really, really want to see tikky's level. or at least show when tikky levels, because right now it feels like tikky is still a level 1 noob at level 10

This is a really nice game with great graphics, but could you give us like 25% of our money that we earned in a mission if we lose it?
Your will, my hands. But i will make it 20%. Only for failing missions, quitting wont cover that. Expect that sometime today.
Edit: Arrrggg, ok, 25% it is.

I recommend making level 8 just a little bit easier. It took me 10 tries to beat it with the 2nd best gun, best body and 2nd best legs. The way to make it easier? Make the explosions happen every 30 mins. I got killed about 15 times by rapid bombs happening every 0.25 secs. Insane problem, would extremely appreciate this being fixed. And if this is fixed, to prevent this from making the level to easy, make the bombs happen at all times every 30 secs. I would appreciate this being fixed.

I should have put this with my comment earlier but oh well. This game is the only one iv seen where the little floating buddy (in this game its tikky) actually gets more skills AND levels up. Nice job, you brought in something new to the browser gaming world.

Soldier: "Captain!! the enemy is over us!!!
Captian: "I dont give a f*ck!!!! look for that star!!!"
Soldier: "But sir..!!"
Captian: "You hear me soldier!!!"
5/5 awesome game

Bluish colour could sometimes swap to red, violet or green so the game doesnt look the same all the time. Also there could be some weapons that change the way you play, like bouncing shots or something like that. Anyway very good game! 4/5
On the deluxe version of the game , that you can find on desura or my website, all the skills and weapons at tier3+ do something extra. And bouncing shots is the one of them. There are also friendly mechs that fight with you, tikky stats screen, mopre levels, music and stuff.

amazing game, loved the game. You have an amazing ability to make what could be a very repetitive grind into simply a great experience. Just a question though, in the final level do your enemies spawn infinitely or are there only a set number on the map? Seemed like an infinite amount in the beginning but once I cleared an area only a few would try and sneak up on my rear.

Really nice, but kind of annoying that you lose all exp / stat boosts you gain in a level if you lose it. Would rather keep trying a level and slowly build up my stats (and skills) until I beat it than go back for an indeterminate amount of time to earlier levels and grind. The stars are a nice touch, wish more games would do that.

I love the game.. one thing I'd love added is a feature to see tikkys stats somewhere.. since he does level up later on in the game, it'd be fun to somehow see how he's improved, if at all.
He does ! You will have to believe me on that from now. (but i noticed the request dont worry)
Everything he does gets better with time. He at higher lvl can solo whole missions with ease.

Really enjoyed the game, only difficulty I have had so far is telling where you can and can't walk, other than that 5*

It would be good if when you die you keep the money from the level or even half cause when you go through the whole level just to die at the end and get nothing really sucks

Awesome game, really enjoying it. The one main critique I'd have is that, with levels taking as long as they do, retaining nothing of the experience or money you've gathered if you lose is very frustrating. After spending 10 minutes clearing a level, only to die when run over by a boss, it's not fun to have entirely wasted those 10 minutes.
Maybe the way i treated the failing of a mission is too harsh. I tried to maintain xp / credits but that proven to make the game too easy.
I could not find the balance in a toll of xp / credits per death and decided to save the stats only when the mission completes successfully.
Noted for the next build of the game. Ty.

No quality settings? I'm getting framerate issues and would prefer to lower the quality, but you even disabled the quality settings from the right click options. Not cool.
Since this game is enterily bitmap based the quality for the stage does not influence performance(theres nothing vectorial in the gameplay) . The framerate issues im working on right now as i said to gomwon.

Made it to level 9. Right when I started the mission, I'd get the black screen. Music still plays. Same issue that Malfurande had. restart the game, and continue from the save point, same error. Good game though. thanks!

This game is quickly becoming one of my favorite top-down shooters on the site. The graphics are very slick (but not too resource intensive for those of us with...less impressive computers), and the music is great. As for the gameplay, the flow is fast without feeling rushed, and the rate at which you earn cash is quick enough that you don't feel forced to go back and grind just to keep it playable. Love the drone mechanics, and the fact that as you get stronger, "Tikky" does too (after mission 5, at least). The defenses in each level do a great job of keeping you moving, when a lot of people might be tempted to sit in one place and "tank" whatever comes at you.
Honestly, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer. I would definitely love to see a sequel to this, possibly with an unlockable endurance mode when the missions are complete?
i wish i could made it bigger. It was my first game, i had a lot of doubts if the game would be good or not, it was a learning experience. If i made a sequel i will try to really push the game. Many great ideas from what you guys are saying im taking notes. If i make a sequel it will def be longer.
The decision now, its based on how well the game goes for me ($$$, i still have to make a living).
Thanks for the comments.

I haven't seen any soundtracks so I'm going to go ahead and comment the soundtracks. The first time I played it and heard the soundtrack, I was like "This is so boss." And sat there, chatting away while listening to the probably best flash game music I've ever heard. 5/5 <3.

Its a bit broken. I don't use my guns. I have fast legs, shielded body, and ram everyone. They die instantly, my health goes down a little bit, and the shield stays full and protects me from bullets. You should make ramming much more dangerous. Drop shields by half, and take damage.

I don't know, for an action shooter it felt rather slow-paced. A good amount of the game is based on the the fact you can upgrade, but the gameplay just didn't take that much advantage of it. The graphics were nice and was one of the finer points of the game but it did get confusing at some point what was terrain and what was not and the fact that EVERYTHING was blue did get boring after a while. Plus the progression felt like lots of things were being repeated and that it was just how long you could last. I could power through this game if I wanted, but it just wouldn't be that fun as I did.

I love this game! I'm a huge Tron fan and a blue fanatic, so I love the style of this game. The gameplay is fun and the upgrades are compelling enough to make you want to play more! 5 out of 5 (10 out of 5 if I could) :D

I wish the powers weren't tied to the legs, but instead to the body types, making their choice have more meaning. Obviously there'd need to be three of them for that to work though.

The other mechs shouldn't be able to sense where you are no matter how far away from them you are once they've seen you.
