I think there should be a Chromatic Scale to play songs in. Like to have all 12 keys instead of 8 keys in one scale to play special chords.

This game is amazingly great. Theres just a couple things I would love. If you can fix the audio and make more notes I would love that. And one more thing. Why does it start to be staticky all of a sudden?

In response to Kallimdor, the slight lag you will get during page flips (And less occasionally, when halfway through the current page) is likely due to the face that there has been a lot of songs since the last update, and it's doubtful that the dev has updated the cloud either. The lag could be because of the fact that there is now enough info to cause perceivable lag for everyone using the cloud.

FYI: Changing the effect of the instrument doesn't make it a remix, it just shows your laziness and inability to create your own songs.

This is one of the most fantastic tools that I have had the joy of using on the internet. It's incredibly simple, and yet allows for some fine tuning, while also being easy to pick up.
As someone who makes music as a hobby, it was also incredibly helpful in letting me figure out how I like to produce music.
I'm tempted to ask for a chatroom just for this game in order to foster relations between would be musicians and potentially produce great collaborations!
Anyway, sorry for being long winded. Great tool, great fun, 5/5 and yet many improvements could be made as well

AMAZING GAME! I love these kind of games where you make music and this is the BEST! You can make very awesome music and there is pages (the other games dont have that). 5/5 + favorited!!!!!!

Just for poops and giggles...if you want to know what the lowest rated song on the game is, look up the song Fantasy Heaven...took me 374 clicks to get to it.

@kleinkalibaer - E# is the same as F. Hence why it never appears - it is commonly (and properly) written in music as F.

A few suggestions. For the drums, if you could add the following: Tom 1, Tom 2, Floor Tom, Ride Cymbal, Bell of Ride Cymble, Crash Symble, Stick clack, and cowbell. (I am a drummer, and these are important to the set, and will make songs better!) (+)

Too bad you can't write complicated songs in this. For instance, if you select the key G major, you can only use notes of that key. So if you have a bridge thingy with some other notes in it, you can't write them in there.

one thing that would be really cool is to make a swing tempo. like jazz, sort of. and to edit each note if u wanted. make one note longer, emphasized, start off lound then die off slowly, etc. or make it flat or sharp, regardless of the key the song is in. and to have the song speed up and slow down in certain areas. i dont mean to ask too much tho. just some suggestions.

To save, hit the save button, then hit ctrl+c. If you press ctrl+c when that notice is not being displayed, it will do nothing.

People there is something that disturbs me deeply: why does a game that makes it possible to make your own songs filled with music copied from bands films or other games, sure there is lots of self-made music but when I look at the highest rated only a few self-made songs are in there and most of them are remixes of songs you can just download from the internet, so my message is: Common people be creative!

Remove the scales and let us place notes wherever we please. :)
Mainly because it restricts the types of riffs I can make. Unless I can find something that has E, D, C, A#, and B. None of them do.

Ok last post this will just be one long thing to stop my spam the reverb is left alone the decay on delay is left alone the level is tunable so is the note tunes and the speed of the song it is a way to make long songs by going slow

Step Seq. is getting alittle too heavy for older computers like mine (Which is bad, because I used to realy rock it out on here.)
