I love what you did with the 10 second theme. I don't even know if it was possible to drown because you spaced everything so well that I always got to air just in time (still preserved that frantic feeling though). Slow reveal, indirect storytelling. Really splendid all around.

Very well told story for how little context was given. If you animated your person to age over time, it wouldve been an amazing effect. 5/5, a short but entertaining story.

I've never had a friend that dedicated... It truly is beautiful to me too see how much these people(?) have gone through to be together.. And even after one looks different, they can see past all this and still be friends. 9/5... made me a little teary too.

WOO HOO GREAT GAME SERIOUSLY... man I feel for him wondering what happened to his friend living down there for such a great period of time which seemed to flow through us as we sped along trying to find our friend. He lived so long down there its amazing no one would think someone could live in a cavern so long. He must have thought about him and his friend could be together once again and lived and grow but now the story must end not knowing what happened to his friend 5/5 p.s. If I could rate it higher I would rate it infinity.

I was expecting a pink version of you, or something like that, not a one-eyed octopus. I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, so if anybody has an idea please pm me! 5/5 for the amount of letters, and respawning points :)

sorry for the double post, but i discovered this just after i posted the other one, if you want to find the octopus press N and find a note that the final sentence says i can hold my breath forever, keep walking right and you will find him

everybody says it : dont press the N key because it ruined the story, please rate this up, or rate other comments like this up

Who else was a little scared when they saw the octopus/squid? I was afraid I was going to find something creepier, like the smiling corpse of the friend with glowing fish around it.

Brilliant game, and inspiring, the story was well written, ( if you'd call it a story) and the simplicity is beautiful, it makes me wish I had the time to create a brilliant masterpiece such as this, 5/5

I know a lot of you assumed the friend died, but look a little closer and you will find them. Check the notes again, the squid/octopus is your friend! The long period of time he was underwater caused him to change. He evolved to adapt to his new environment. He's still alive, he's just changed.

Oh wow.... when I read it has been years.... and I'm getting old.... it was sad. How he would reminisce in the notes.
It had sort of a "friend, I will wait for you forever." feel. Cute, and a little sad. I actually half expected him to be alive when I found the last note!

So if his friend is a ____, then what is he? He certainly doesn't look like a human. He looks more like a fish with legs xD

@xxunderdog99 The Title is from one of the notes the Friend left. You find it, "But don't worr,y I CAN HOLD MY BREATH FOREVER!"

I sort of jumped a little at the end, when you see your friend, but that's only because I'm jittery from staying up all night >.> But I did like the game, it was short and very sweet c=

that seems kind of sad... his/her friend waiting for so long... alone... in dark caves... every one of millions of seconds just hoping that their friend will show up... not even knowing if the friend will ever arrive at all... the thought that he/she might be trapped in there forever... D_;

armies and PingPongPaddle are both correct, however, notice that you only start to see the "creepy" notes once he says he was there for a year, a month. So, he jumped into the pond, and after a years, two years, ten years, he got used to being an octopus.

Wow, that is masterfully poetic. I wish i could come up with a batter comment but i cant write anything next to this masterpiece. 5/5

This is the type of game I love. Not too long, yet satisfyingly complete. I loved it. 5/5. It doesn't need graphics when it has a message.

What mostly everyone said. Simple, good, surprising, mysterious. And annoying, but in the right dosage XD That blackening effect can get in your nerves sometimes!
