would be easier if the guy wasn't stumbling around like a drunk ninja and why isn't there at least an auto fire option??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Happy to defeat the enemy, life-icon drops faster than me swinging my player there. Misses approx. ever heart but cool game anyway. Shooter + Ragdoll seems quite unique in style?

tips: the easiest is the lasers because they might hit the lower parts of the legs or the part of the arms that actually shoot (the ends). the rockets are the hardest because there's a lot of projectiles and there ALL insta-kill. the orbs are insta-kill but there predictable and theirs not a lot of them

Woah, someway, somehow,i got hard badge first try!And with 7 spare hearts!I have got the easy badge earlier, but i rlly don't know how i got the hard badge,on level 7 i were thinking that i would die soon, because i thinked that there would be 2 or 3 more levels.Anyway i got that hard badge, and frick this game

I have done the hard badge in like 30 minutes or less. It's like playing on an ice level, but worse. It feels like keeping the guy standing up helps with dodging and shooting. The hearts just drop through the earth, which sucks as you want to as many lives as possible.

Destroyed 41 ships, that's enough...
i think that badge should be changed to "impossible" so it would feel like a better reward lol

I don't think games are de-badged just for being bad. Although, I never had any fondness for this one. I hate how little control you have. The bosses fire EVERYWHERE yet your inertia makes changing direction an absolute chore. This is especially true if you try to actually deal damage, which is required. It's the worst kind of endurance test. Other than simply being different, the game is wholly uninteresting. 1/5

You've heard of the phrase 'better than the sum of its parts'? Well, apparently smashing a ragdoll physics game together with a poorly-designed bullet-hell shooter creates an exception to that rule -- it's not as fun as the former, and not as tightly-designed as the latter.
This game is an endurance test, something to be tolerated until you get the Badge and then never played again.

I don't get the hate. It's not great, but it's a little funny and the music is catchy. Badge was also a breeze and I've had to go through so many worse badges to get either because of sheer time needed or how frustrating it was to get to the proper point. For the needed time investment this was awesome to try.

Weird game. Even stranger, I didn't expect to be able to move up and down. Okay, for a shmup, that's normal, but this game is anything but normal. Irritating that hearts sink into the ground so quickly like that. I also got sick of the 2x boss piecemeal crap. Level 5 can't get here fast enough. Ugh.

I've played thousands of games on this sight and to say this is the most undesirable game I've ever played is an understatement! I got my badge of the day, never to return, thank God! The only reason I gave this one star is because I get credit for it because it didn't even deserve that!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not too bad. The ragdoll is a bit harder to move than I'd like, but it's pretty fun. And not gonna lie it's kinda funny seeing your ragdoll get blown up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Once you understand the basic enemy types, it's not too bad, since you can get 20-30 lives before the harder bosses. Dragging along the ground lets you focus fire pretty efficiently.

I hate the lack of control from the ragdolling, and the lack of autofire is a little annoying, but there's a daily badge, and it's not an idle "game". 5/5.

General Kongregate trick: if you click outside the frame, the game will lose focus and will not register any key presses, or more importantly key releases.
Hold down space, click outside the game, release space, click inside game. The game will continue to act as if space is held down, firing continuously while you focus entirely on moving.

Still working on the hard badge but here's my tip. Cruise along the bottom moving as little as possible to dodge the shots. if you try and fly around you won't last long. Also, I know it is obvious but you really need to go after the extra lives.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I kind of love that the game is so frustrating to control. If this was a traditional space shooter, maybe. But the fact that it's a ragdoll, and the way you control it changes how the bullets get fired, make it absolutely hilarious.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I find it interesting how few people have actually finished this game from start to end. It's hard, sure, but I think that's down to the controls solely.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
COntrol is a bitch, really not fun like that. Easy badge should be easily obtainable, not like this. One, maybe two would be easy. Four is too frustrating for me, if I do several tries without seeing improvement because I die nearly instantly and control isn't to be had.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Keep in mind that this game is from 2007. Things were different then. "Worse" different, but we didn't know that back then.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Absolutely bare minimum "game" that is more frustrating than fun. Only played to get 1 of 2 achievements, the hard badge should be an impossible badge as it isn't even worth a fraction of the effort it would require to complete it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I killed 31 invaders in 12 minutes. The easy badge can be gotten after killing the first alien saucer in about 2 minutes, but you don't get it until you die. It has terrible controls and the guy shoots all over the place. Aiming with the mouse would be better. Also some more colors.

@FlamerXMagofire: Several games only send to Kongregate your progress for the badge when the game ends, such as by completing the game or dying, and this game is one of them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I thought the concept was pathetic... then... I tried it, got caught in the great beat music and finally found myself struggling to beat another level, and another, and another... pretty well done, lol
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why cr*p like this gets badges, let alone botd, I'll never understand.
Might as well have no controls and just a randomly floating character, at least that would make it honest in the figure being uncontrollable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So after getting the Hard badge all I have to say is that the creator of this game should be jailed for for creating such an abomination of a game.
