Beautiful graphics, obviously a lot of time spent making this, but the bottom line is it sucks. There's only 1 way to win, and it's way too repetitive. A good defense game does not force the player to do exactly 1 and only 1 thing or he loses. Ultimately, it fails at what makes defense games great.

Good game but because of the length players really shouldn't have to go back and play through to get all the weapons, because there is no way that they can buy all of them in one sitting with the gold available in the first playthrough.

I was disappointed that the building resources didn't seem to matter. It would have be neat if you could customize your castle based on what resources you picked up.
It was also not terribly clear what the goal of each individual level was.

Why do we need to build a flying castle? Wouldn't it be easier just to hop on some horses and ride to somewhere they'd not infested with zombies and build a castle there?

Alas, the kingdom is held together with string and tape. There is nothing to do but fight back and go... Wait a minute, the castle is held together with tape? Time to fly.

It's really easy if you know what your doing. First run to a corner and attack zombies with your bow, when they get too close use your sword. If they overwhelm you, stomp and run to the other side of the area. Repeat until only one zombie remains. Now stomp to cross him, and mine all the boxes.

What is the point of resources...? needs better description, and well... more gameplay... Also reminds me abit about mindcraft, mindlessly punching rocks, trees, crates and monsters

nutty control scheme.... left and right attack on opposite sides of the keyboard, each out of range of the directional keys - and no way to alter them, apparently.

First go over the spring or boat (if the starting crate is in one direction, go in the other) and wait until a zombie spawns. Then go back to the central island and go get the crates, and you can wait in the middle until all the other zombies are killed by turrets and where you can respawn. Then get the crates as they appear. If one appears on the island the one zombie is one, stomp him at the gate and run past him to the crate and break it, stomping him if he gets close. When all crates and resources are harvested, kill the one zombie.

I don't normally give bad reviews, so I’m gonna try to keep this short. First: I’m not trying to be mean, I just call them as I see them. Second: The ranges are terrible for the weapons. And even the best bow, while almost reaching the edge of the screen, doesn’t allow you to hit zombies because they are ‘too close’. Third: The only real strategy seems to be hiding behind the gate waiting for your stun to grow so that you can axe them a few times before hiding and waiting again. Fourth: not only are zombies that hurt you as they spawn from under you bad, but so are zombies that can juggle you. That’s just bad game design there. All in all just a boring game. Even the king is so bored that he has the same lifeless expression as the zombies. Anyway, don’t take this too harshly, I managed to play all the way through the game despite these things, thought I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t get too discouraged and keep making games!

You seriously need to add the ability to jump. Currently, as it is, if you get surrounded, you can't do anything except die. Since you get momentarily stunned by contact, you can't even sacrifice health to run through them to get to a safer spot. Good concept, good graphics, but the mechanics are poorly executed.

I gave it 4 stars on the art style alone :) Game felt rather unbalanced overall, after the first few days it pretty much became a requirement to abuse the way the game worked to survive (hiding behind gates etc.) otherwise it was quite a fun game!

Cute game; I like that I can get all of the in-game achievements after watching the king lift off (do so by "continuing game" after the cut scene). Wish it was a bit longer though.

I attempted to get all achievements after I beat the game and after I beat the final level over again I would have to watch the ending scene over again which I skipped. But after getting down to one last achievement which was get all the Bows. I continuously tried to go back and replay the final level like I had been doing but it just continues to show ending scene and not have final level so now I can't get all the achievements. And it was Ridiculously hard to beat. Short. Still a good game need to fix it so that you can get all achievements in the game. 5/5 still good graphics and fun game play.

can't find shop button. can it only be accessed after successful completion of a level? would also be nice if there was a "reset upgrade" button. fun stuff, though.

Leave one zombie alive during every level by stomping and running from it. That way you can play the level til the boxes stop spawning. You get way more loot from boxes than anything else. After you get the boat, I like to go to the right of the screen to spawn one zombie and then back to the middle to fight all the rest.

You really need to give us choice over what areas / parts of flying castle to upgrade, otherwise it's just an extraneous process that no one cares about..

starts fun but you quickly get overpowered. The hearts are a bad idea because there is severe collision detection. For example you can't pass through a zombie without losing most if not all your hearts. There should be a period of invulnerability after taking a hit. I can't finish the game due to not being able to keep any rewards after a loss, and I can't be asked to re-do a stage over and over like a mouse chasing after a cheese. 3/5

looks sweet, graphics and music is nice. Gameplay is something for idiotic dumbfuc*s!
Grinding+leveling+achievementsachievementsachievements and nothing worth playing for. 1 Star for this 21 century nonsense

I liked it, but that's it. Gameplay gets boring quickly, run away-? stomp->mash->repeat. Upgrades are limited to weapons and character, nothing gamebreaking, not even reason to go for middle level weapons, difference is so small that you can easly save for top one. Bulding tower and other stuff seems fine, but there is no logic to it - stuff drops, pick it up, and when you got enough something will get upgraded. Good potential, but wasted.
