Spy:SIR THERE IS GOING TO BE A GERMAN ATTACK ON SOMEWHERE BY AN AMOUNT OF PLANES!
Leader:...uhhh thanks that was very helpful...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So...the Germans aren't even shooting yet and my planes crash, but after my planes crash, some German bombers and fighters fall out of the sky for no reason. I'm okay with that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
uhm design problem found!the bombers in every area in this game shouldnt have any fighter escort except for south east because due to limited fuel capacity the fighter escort would turn back just a little bit offshore in britain.I would recomend a sequel plz its a nice game!

FINALLY!!!!!41 spies, ext turn i can have 100% actu...WHAT?!?! 51% actuarcy only?!?!?! and XXXXXXX are going to attack XXXXXXXXXwith XXXXXXXplanes????? someones getting fired!!!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The spitfires must be shooting the conveniently placed target on each others planes. After all, the fuselage is dangerously close to it and this must be the only reason why my planes are being gunned down against so little...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Really great game! The hard part is when your intelligence is at 100% and before all of your planes were lost and theres an attack of like 25 planes, however many bombers and whatever is sent, and most of your cities are being repaired and you see that there are multiple attacks, all of which are deadly. But really great and hard, yet fun, 5/5 all the way!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Like are the british planes opsolete?cause if three spitfires get shot down by one german fighter then you know you have a problem,so are the pilots retarded or are the planes opsolete?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the spying is a bit stupid, the 1st report is 0-8 messichits 0-8 german bombers and then xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx midlands or the north. ok. the 2nd report was the same EXCEPT the xxxxxxx from the last thing was the intened target is xxxxxxxxxxxxx WHY THE *&^% IS THE intended target need to be blocked.and yet he couldnt tell me the LOCATION?!! i wish i could choose who dies.

bah there some people on here who are total non gamers if your looking for history look somewhere else. there plenty of games now for RAF and among other things, Did you know PaxCanadiana there was never a Resistance of Germans story game ever made. They think the germans had no such thing to this day they have army made up same principles of german resistance you have live in "NOW" and think about future, Now if want to rave I got one military I rave about in UK its SAS or SAS-R they are so cool...they make terrorist scream oh my god...they are here send back up immediately...dude...if SAS really hear that on the radios I suggest them to bomb and send going away present to so called al queda...its annoying...that media monster mash make all military secret operation sects seem so evil. They have no idea they are protecting from greater evil in this world. But trying to live in now....try not to post too many or the author of game will ban your comments.

OOPSY! Sorry folks, learned my lesson about posting multiple comments... last one first to first one last would've put them up in order from Part 1 to Part 5, I guess! LMAO

Part 5: LIKES: the way you've coded the connection between the city areas and intelligence sections is a real plus (saves time and effort by not having to go through the Summary screen every time). Thanks heaps for the "Reset All" button on the "Area Stats" screen (another major plus). The backgroud SFX is well done, too. My own extra feature I added is my '40's tunes playlist running on my VLC media player in the background. All the best of Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Marlene Dietrich, Noel Coward, et al. to counterpoint the game's air raid sirens, bomb blasts and exploding aircraft. Really heightens the mood while playing! LOL
This one's a keeper, folks! Enjoy!
p.s. I won my first ever game in 43 days (thanks in part to PhoenixW's detailed notes). Cheers!

Part 4: Final points:
1) Unlock the sizing of the game sceen so it can be zoomed in to fill the entire monitor screen.
2) Increase the text font (ESPECIALLY in the Intelligence section... I ended up resorting to using a magnifying glass for reading the Intelligence Notes because the game couldn't be zoomed in - but that could also just be my crappy 15" monitor).
3) Add an "ALL" button in the AREAS screen over each units' placeholder in each area zone (saves holding the mouse button down for what seems like ever to get 50 Spitfires in the air over London). ;>)

Part 3: Now, to the game's developer, "Rob Almighty": Well Done, Sir! 4 out of 5 stars easily! In addition to Xenod's comments, I'd like to add this main one to the mix: How about a 2-player version with the second player in control of the Luftwaffe's staffeln (that's "squadrons", FYI). ["Sheesh! What a show-off!" he mutters under his breath as he quietly chuckles]. To do that, though, it'd probably really complicate the "Intelligence" coding quite a bit. But, think of the fun the German player could have trying to outwit & trick the RAF's defences into wrong moves. A German winner clears the RAF from the skies and the invasion of Britain begins. What the Royal Navy has to say about that is a whole 'nuther game. ;>)

Part 2: First off, great Kudos to "PhoenixW" for the detailed pointers, secondly, thanks to "mpsr" for the +\- button hint and thirdly, I also like & am in full agreement with most of "Xenod's" points with the exception of "...just have a lot more German planes attack as the game goes on...". Xenod, "duderoblox"s comment is kinda sorta right about increasing the amount of Luftwaffe planes. Keep in mind the fact that the Battle of Britain occured roughly during the middle to latter half of 1940 and the German General Staff were already planning ahead for the invasion of Russia less than a year away in June, '41. Not even mentioning the fact that Fighter Command was doing its best at shooting them down as fast as they could (which, as it turned out later, to be about 1.5 German aircraft for every British plane, statistically speaking).

Due to the 1,000 character limit in the Add Comments text box, I've had to split this comment into 5 sections... Part 1 follows:
I enjoyed this game immensely. It's a pleasure to find a game that actually requires thinking, planning and deductive reasoning skills but isn't so overly complicated it would scare off most casual gamers. Even though it may look a simple game, there's a lot more going on here than meets the eye. I have to say that it really helped to read the "Best Comments" section before starting my very first campaign.

xenod more german planes shouldnt come later on because they have to be made before they can be sent into freaking combat they dont have an endless supply of planes if they did they would send them all out straight away

LOVE IT.... but very hard to get below 32 days i think... hope that the maker of this game will expand the concept of this game. maybe with some AA guns, and more controle of the planes. but easy to play and acctually very very good...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i enjoyed it, just wish you had a carry over option after the 300 gerries shot down or stretch the finishing line to make it a longer version
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1 thing they really need to add is AA guns, the Battle of Britain wasent just fought with aircraft, as the brits have multiple AA sites including AA 18`s and Bofor and Twin Bofor 40mm guns.

Here are some of the places specials London: Most population meaning proctect it and you'll get more recruits South east Intel center protect equals better intel report Mid lands Were workers work Protect equals more scrap The north Also increases scrap but not as much and fire does 5% less damage here to. South west germans are slightly more likely attack since it's closer also if procted spies have an additional 1% to survive East Coast were surport comes from freindly nations from Canada Austrailia (Recruit wise)also U.S.A (scrap wise) ETC. meaning has about the same recruit rate of London and Scrap rate of the Midlands due to others helping. Those are the specailbilities sorry for spelling errors.

The intro qutoe was ironic. At one time the british owned 1/3 of the world.hmmm so i guess the british werent imperalistic?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it how if your plane goes down, the pilot uses a parachute to go down slowly whereas the germans have no such thing.....someone was a bit arogant :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nice and addicting game however a bit to easy (I haven't lost it yet) and the randomness is a bit annoying. I tried some 4 or 5 different strategies (build a hell lot of planes and then destroy everything that moves, get over 90% intelligence ind intercept carefully balancing on a thick line with few planes and pilots, keep a balance anomg all kinds of recruits, don't worry about the cities as long as You don't loose 80% of some and only then start rebuilding etc.) All led to success sooner or later...

@commando2224: fun fact: British were loosing people under german attacks when Americans were happy to be out of the war. It was so until Japs attacked Pearl Harbour.
By the way, British weren't much better when Hitler attacked Poland. However, they declared the war at least...
