To use Ants: Choose at least two speed upgrades
To use Beetles: Choose at least two strength upgrades
To use Roaches: Mix the upgrades together, one speed and two strength, vice versa.
Hopper: Try choosing upgrades differently/getting more upgrades??
The 6 in game medals, these are accumulative and can be gotten after many playthroughs:
Larva Killer: In the larva stages, kill 1000 larva.
Ants breeder: Simply produce and colonise 2000 ants in total.
Life Trader: Build 100 towers of any type.
Badge Hunter: The longest medal. After a level you will probably get an average of 2000 points. You need to keep playing levels until your total score is over 66,666.
Beetles Fans:Same as the Ants but with Beetles instead.
Queen Slaughter: After finishing the levels, there will be a hexagon button, click it and then click play to play the bonus level with a queen. Finish her to win.

Additional bug: if a tower occupies a space where multiple bases overlap in influence, if one base goes down, the turrets in the shared area despawn.
Also, it took five towers and constant assault to overwhelm the opponent in the last level when teal occupied the chokepoint.
Also, the component of massing reserves at a base loses its meaning when the number of creatures that can attack at once is capped and set.

Maybe some one should make some sort of er..... "Heroes of Gaia", "Battle Conquest", "9 Kingdoms", type game for bug war. Could throw in a lot of new races for people to pick.

Worst user interface I've yet found in this kind of a game. It's not clear which hive is selected so you accidentally end up retreating when you want to attack.

I found a glitch. at stage 1 when it pops ( do you want to use tutorial ? ) don't click anything, just use your larvas to take everything without clicking yes or no on the tutorial thing :)

To kill Queen: If you don't start in one map that have a place(spawn) with 3+ paths, restart. When you start at a level that has a spawn with 3+ paths, take that place fastest you can. So, send all troops to that place until 130+ units. If queen attack that place when you already have 130+, she's dead. If she take one of your spawns, re-take it fastest you can. If you have all (or at least 75% of) places on these levels, your victory chance is big. Hope this help you. (: *Sorry for bad english, i hope you understand this comment xD*

FAQ: Ants are the best on very short games, beetles are the best on very long games, and roaches can hold the game enough to screw the ants up and can finish it before beetles take control. So, pick up roaches, they're the best.

You get a skill upgrade for every 5 spawning nest you capture in total. In other words it wont work if you let the enemy recapture it over and over again.

This is an excellent game, but, my only suggestion to make it better would be to set an auto send feature. It gets a little annoying having to click on each colony and manually send it to another colony.

A good way to get your oppent after about some odd mins after the battle began, build 6 towers(25) 3 on each side. You attack him so the oppent sends his units towards your tower defence and losses half and then sum cause he'll send reinforcments you switch to aonther place for your troops so they don't get saltured.

bug: towers can change controllers spontaneously - I created a tower, did not lose control of any nest, and the tower switched sides.

Grey. i worked hard on that level to push all my back guys to support one and pushed out and killed teal then they put on that guy so i was fighting a ant army that was sending there full army from all bases into one and i did the same but i got a advantage of being a real person and having a real friggin smart head and beat him down into one corner and won. you dont need turrets NOT A BUG
